 It was a normal day, all alone for Kahawia. He was laying besides the raoring waterfall, with birds chirping, and his friend Usuru was flying around, scouting to see if there were any felines approaching. Usually there weren't any, but there was never any harm in checking, was there? Kahaiwa noticed the dove come back to the ground.
Ushuru was flying overhead Kahawia, and scouting out, to see if any rouges were heading this way. No such luck, as always. But Kahawia was always persistent, and said there was always hope, and they shouldn't give up so easily. Ushuru flew back to where Kahawia lay. "I didn't see anything."

 Sunhigh had come rather quickly today, Kira mused to herself. The day was like any other day since she and Kijani had gone their separate ways - wandering seemingly at random and enjoying the nature all around, occasionally even conversing with the spirits she knew resided in it.
As she brushed through the undergrowth, the sunlight finding it's way through gaps in the canopy overhead dappled her pelt. Couple that with her rather peculiar markings and Kira was damn near invisible. Movement flickered at the edge of her vision and she glanced up just in time to catch a glimpse of a bird through the leaves as it flew overhead. Unfortunately, her brief lapse in attention caused her trip over a tree root and land heavily on her nose.
"Was that really necessary?" she scolded, although the playfulness that shone in her eyes betrayed her. Shaking her head and chuckling to herself, she rose back to her paws and continued on, only to stop short a few paw steps later as she heard a voice nearby. Intrigued, she headed toward it, friendly and curiously, but cautiously none the less. The owner of that voice may not be as jovial as she.

Kahawia turned his head sharply as he heard a small Thump and a friendly female voice he whispered to Ushuru "Did you hear that?" he was curious to know if Kahawia wasn't going crazy or not.
Ushuru nodded his small head at Kahawia "yes, i heard it." He flew up into a tree, towards the voice they had both heard. He looked down to see a black lioness with rather peculiar markings. Ushuru said nothing to Kahawia, after all, Kahawia was supposed to take care of newcomers, Ushuru was just a gatherer.
Kahawia watched Ushuru fly into a tree, and saw him look at whatever creature was lurking in the brush. "H-Hello? anyone there?" he said cautiosly. He got off his rump, and walked forwards towards the voice.

At the rustle of wings, Kira glanced up. That bird was back. Her ears folded back and her eyes crinkled from her friendliest smile - but only for a moment. Before she could introduce herself to the avian, a voice called out a few paces ahead. Her attention was diverted and her ears flicked up, alert for any other sounds. From the noises that accompanied the new voice, it sounded as if the owner was approaching. Well, it's too late to turn back now.
Kira boldly padded ahead until she broke out of the undergrowth into a small copse with a waterfall - and a large male lion. The stranger's green pelt was marred with reddish-brown spots, and he had pale hair and startling green eyes. The curiosity in his expression clearly indicated that he was the one who had called out.
Amicable smile still firmly in place, Kira closed the last tail-length between herself and the male. Stopping in front of him, she dipped her head in respect and said, "Why, yes; I'm here. My name is Kirafiki'Mifupa. I'm pleased to meet you."

Kahawia smiled. "they call me Kahawia" He nodded his head over to Ushuru. "Thats my friend..."
Ushuru cut Kahawia by flying down and saying to Kirafiki. "My name is Ushuru." He gave a friendly look towards the both of them, and flew away again, this time, higher into the air, where he was then only a speck.
Kahawia looked up and saw that Ushuru flew up to only being a speck, and sighed a little. He looked back to the female and asked her "So what brings you here Kirafiki?"

Kira dipped her head to both creatures in turn as they told her their names. When Ushuru took off again - rather abruptly, at that - Kira watched as he climbed higher and higher. He was barely visible by the time Kahawia spoke again.
Kira returned her attention to Kahawia until he finished his sentence, then glanced back up at the sky; but Ushuru was gone, so she dragged her attention back down again.
"The wind mostly," Kira shrugged. Realizing that her words may be confusing, or seem suspicious, she added, "I wasn't trying to get here, really. I just wander a lot. It's rather lonely, but at least because I move around I get to meet new people."

Kahawia nodded in agreement with Kira. He had wandered a lot before deciding to settle here, and start a pride. "I used to wander a lot too, but i could hardly remain sane because i never met anyone. Ushuru and I met not long ago, but we have been friends since day one. He has actually been very helpful." He looked up into the air, and smiled. He knew Ushuru couldn't see, but Kahawia was really glad he had met the dove, where would Kahawia be without him? Probably wandering still, but he would likely be starting to go crazy.
Ushuru continued flying around the sky. He flapped his wings, once, twice, and again before gliding on the breeze only he could feel of the three of them, because he was so high into the air. He sighed a little, he wanted to stay airborne forever, but he would likely tire himself out too much, causing him to fall out of the air. He had done it once, long ago, and he wouldn't do it again. He started to fly farther from the Msitu lands.

Bloo Starr I'm not really sure where to go with that post.. but I'll give it a shot.
Looking back over her shoulder, she said, "Well, I'll be getting out of your mane. I apologize for any intrusion."
With a polite dip of her head, she turned and started to pad away, becoming nearly invisible as her dark, dappled pelt slid among the shadowed ferns.

Kahawia stood quickly "WAIT!" He yelled after her and started t run to catch up with her. "You said you have no where to go...I...I thought maybe you would like to join me and Ushuru and one other feline?" He dipped his head and smmiled shyly, he hoped he wasn't being rude. Rennekae Sorry. I must have been in a weird state of mind. *shrug*

Bloo Starr It's okay - we both must've been feeling a little abandoned by our muses haha
As Kahawia quickly continued, however, she relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief. Now that she was no longer on high alert, she was able to pay attention and Kahawia's words intrigued her. She had been considering finding somewhere to settle down lately - in fact, it had been on her mind a lot - and the surrounding area was definitely ideal with it's abundant plant- and wild-life.
Not one to rush into things blindly, she turned to face Kahawia fully and sat down, her mindset decidedly serious. "Well, before I make any important choices, tell me more about this group. I mean, is this temporary, or are you hoping to form your own pride? And what sort of ideals do you hold?"

Kahawia smiled a little. "Well, I hope to maek it a full pride someday, I'm trying to rope in as many felines as I can. You can believe in whatever god or goddess you want too! We have a few ceremonies, like on full moons, briths...things like that. We all like to tell stories during sun down at the water fall too." He motioned his head to behind them both. He really hoped Kira would stay, but that was up to her whether she wanted to or not.

Kira nodded as she listened to Kahawia's plans. With each word she leaned more and more towards joining the up-and-coming pride. As he finished, she took a few heartbeats to consider before deciding to take a chance with her new acquaintances.
"You know what? Yes. I will stay, at least for a short while to see how it goes. If you need a healer, I'm more than capable to fill that role."
Kira purred happily, a heartfelt joy that crinkled her eyes and warmed her toes. She really hoped that this new pride could be her forever home.Bloo Starr This seems like a good place to end it. If you'd like to do a wrap-up post, feel free. c:

Kahawia smiled excitedly "Great! and we do have a healer role that needs to be filled, so you can be our first!" He had a warm feeling all the way to hi toes. "Come on, follow me, I'll show you around."Rennekae sure, this can be done now <3 I shall start up the story telling one, soonish o.o
