I'm generally pretty good about packing. When I forget something, it's usually something that can be inexpensively replaced when I reach my destination.

One thing I do tend to forget, however, is food. Which isn't really a big deal unless you're travelling a long distance and are going to spend a lot of time in transit, but it seems like no matter how many flights or train rides I end up starving through, I never learn my lesson and always forget to bring snacks. Luckily my partner is usually pretty on top of that, but if I'm not travelling with him, I end up either being very hungry for most of the time spent in transit, or end up spending way too much money on something small at an airport or something.

If I am going to forget something, it is usually something the hotel either already has or I can get pretty easily from Walgreens. If anything, my wife forgets stuff.

"Hey baby, will you pack my _____"
"Sure!"

The next day:

"Babe? Where is my ______"
"I forgot! Sorry!"
