[Open Class] And suddenly, bears (Pokerus)

General information: Malcolm had always been one of those professors who always seem to take things to the extremities; this training session was no exception. Held on a mountain that is located just 5 minutes' walk away from the school, there was also something about fighting bears...

The Course:
The Garowl Mountains, located just 5 minutes' walk away from the school. Yes, this mountain had always been there; don't question it.

Mechanics:

Phase 1

The climb up the mountain was a really tedious one; it was absolutely freezing, and the strong winds did not help your cause at all. Unless you actually liked the cold, walking to where the training session was supposed to be held was a test in itself...

Note: If your student is cold/frost/ice-based or is used to living is extreme cold, you may skip this phrase and move onto phrase 2! Just leo strut your way up!
Note 2: If your student is heat/fire-based or cold-blooded, you will use 1d8.
Note 3: Everyone else will use a 1d10!

1 : You were frozen on the spot, resembling a live ice sculpture, as you failed to beat the cold; that night, Malcolm would find you and carry you back to your room to thaw out. Shameeeee. Major fail!
2-5 : You almost got there, but unusually strong winds and what was probably an approaching snow storm nearer to the peak forced you to turn back. Fail!
6-10 : You made it! You're tired (and possibly grumpy) but you made it- Hey, where did your clothing go? If you are a boil, you lost either your shirt or your pants to the winds. If you are a ghoul, your clothing had been ripped up pretty badly by the winds. Pass! But at what cost?

Phrase 2

Despite your missing/ruined clothing, you had walked too far to back down. You are a man! A MAN. Or a woman... But you can't spell woman without a MAN. Nearing the ice cave, you could hear faint growling coming from inside as your challenger stepped forward... And give you the grumpiest look known to bear-kind. Hah, what a lousy, weak looking thing...

Note: Roll 2d6 to fight!
-> Subtract 6 if you are Y1, 4 if you are Y2 and 3 if you are Y3/beyond.
-> Example of damage: I am Y2 and I roll a 6. My damage is 6-4=2

< 0 : Bearel practically ravaged you, and you might had screamed loudly like a little ghoul in the process. Fail!
2 - 3 : You managed to land a weak hit, but Bearel managed to get the best of you before escaping back into the cave. Pass!
4 > : You managed to land a strong hit after summoning your inner man, sending Bearel flying back into the cave with tears streaming out of its eyes. I hope you're quite satisfied. Great pass!

Phrase 3

Before you could recover from your encounter with Bearel, you hear even a louder, but more feminine growl coming from within the cave. Soon enough, Bearel's mama stepped out of the cave and made a gesture at you with her tint fists of fury; come at her, bro. Funshine is ready for some fun-time...

< 1 : Funshine beats the crap out of you, and you couldn't even land a single hit. Shame... So. Much. Shame. Fail!
2 - 4 : You managed to land a weak hit, but Funshine managed to pretty much put lots of tiny fist-shaped bruises on you before collapsing into the snow. Pass!
5 > : You managed to land a strong hit after summoning your inner man, sending Funshine stumbling and face-planting into the snow. You feel a small, pitiable sense of pride. Great pass!

Final phrase

Just as you thought that your training was over, a series of angry-sounding clicking noises came from the direction of the cave. A second later, an adorably white and furry teddy walked out, picked the fallen Funshine up in its arms, and carrying it back into the cave. It then reemerged from the- OH JACK WHAT IS THAT EVEN?!

< 4 : TeddyWeddy probably beat you senseless and made you scream like a little ghoul while crying for mummy repeatedly. You also feel a sense of shame. Fail!
5-7 : You managed to land a weak hit, but TeddyWeddy had gotten several scratch marks across parts of your body; well, battle scars are cool, right? Even temporary ones? Pass!
8-9 : You managed to land a strong hit after summoning your inner man, causing TeddyWeddy to go back to its original, cute and harmless form. Great pass!

Optional finale

Having proved your worth and strength as a real MAN of MANLINESS, you were allowed into the cave, where a treasure chest was...

THIS IS THE WILDERNESS, TOUGH IT OUT. Oh yeah, these minipets are rather oversized, by the way, but still smaller (and cuter) than you... With baby Bearel being almost minipet-sized and papa TeddyWeddy being close to grizzly size!

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS RP WHEN...

You defeat Teddyweddy and drag your a** back to Amityville. Any less is failure because you are not a MAN.

Classes could be either a very interesting adventure, and if one was lucky a very informative one to boot, or they could be a utter waste of time. Or worse, they could be detrimental to your health. The one that Poke had signed herself up for, appeared to be a combination of the two in the form of a training course. This was often the case, but at least the description promised it would be pretty fun. Bears were a furry mammalian version of sharks, and she enjoyed the hell out of fighting sharks.

However, it looked at is it would be a test just to get to the training area. The dragon had chosen to fly towards the top of the mountain to save herself the walk, but as soon as she got near a powerful gust of wind sent her spiraling backwards.

"Jack!" She cursed as the gale tossed her about in the sky before she was thrown to the ground, skidding along on her back. It took some time before she was able to orient herself as her head was spinning, but by the time that happened, her body was frozen stiff. Poke may of been a water dragon, but it didn't mean she was immune from the cold.

She spent a rather annoying few hours trying to figure out how to move until she was saved by professor Malcom, left in her room to warm up.

The next day the dragon was back. Having learned her lesson the first time, Poke had walked from the school grounds towards the base of the mountains, ready to take the long (and annoying) hike through the blistering cold winds.

Except, as she began walking higher up the mountain, the weather grew worse and worse, forcing her to hold onto the side with her claws just to keep her from being blown away. She found it hard to see anything, except a mass of swirling white.

Poke then shivered, but it wasn't just from the cold, she could feel the air pressure drop dramatically, a sure sign a storm was coming on the way. It would be foolhardy to continue onwards, no matter how stubborn she was.

With a annoyed growl, she turned back.

"Really? REALLY?!"

The third day proved to be just as difficult as the second. The storm was still going strong, and as much as she tried to walk through it, the weather proved to powerful to continue onwards, and again she was forced to turn back.

The next time she attempted it, the weather had appeared. Although it was hard to see the improvement, as it was still really jacking cold. So cold as Poke found, her body was turning into a icicle at a rapid rate.

It didn't take long for her to become a dragonicile, waiting to be picke dup by the professor once more.

After she had thawed herself, Poke was back again, refusing to quit even if it took her the next hundred years to get to the top.

"Dam blasted jacking mountain with it's jacking cold and jacking WIND!" Although even as she shouted, the wind silenced her voice and buffered her as it howled relentlessly against her body. But even so, the dragoness persisted until she had managed to find her way to the training grounds.

Well, most of it, it seemed her clothing had been torn to shreds in the process. At least the important parts were covered.

In front of her was a cave that was made out of ice, and by the sounds of it there was a bear inside. Though when it came out, Poke raised a eye at the thing. It didn't look very threatening. In fact, it reminded her of someone, though she couldn't put her finger on it..

Oh well, didn't matter. She pulled a arm back and let lose a powerful punch, and the beat was gone.

As soon as she had defeated the bear, a louder growl came from within the cave, followed by the emergence of a bigger bear. This one looked stronger, and was not impressed at the dragon for hurting her baby.

Poke however gave no ******** about it, and sent her flying just the same.

Ha! This wasn't even a challenge! Poke grinned as she saw the third bear imergere to retrieve the other one, and she waited patiently for it to come out and fight her. She was raring to beat this guy into the-

"WHAT THE HELL IS THA-"

She didn't get the words out as she was pummeled, beaten, and scratched until she was left unconscious in the snow.

When Poke was next ready to attempt the training course, she all but sprinted towards the mountain, her shameful defeat leaving her utterly pissed.

It didn't matter though, cause the weather was still being a pain in the a**, and she was forced to retreat.

"How the hell can the mountain constantly be this bad?!" She growled as the wind was pushing her backwards in her latest attempt to scale the mountain, leaving her almost frozen to the bone. And no matter how much she pushed herself, the howling wind proved to much for her, and she moved back to the school to wait.

After what seemed like a odyssey just to get to the top, Poke dragged her tired and aching body to the grounds, her fists aching to pound away at the fluffy little things for making her go hell.

"Come out, come out, weather you are~" she sung in a ominous voice.

The bear seemed stronger this time, but she managed to punch it before it retreated back into it's lair, leaving the dragon utterly fuming at being beaten by something half her size.

As soon as the first one was defeated, the yellow one came to take it's place. This bear also seemed to be stronger then last time. Or maybe she was just weaker from all the hiking through the snow. Whatever the case, Poke barely managed to punch the bear, once, but not without taking a few blows herself

"Jacking bears..." She growled.

Sadly, the dragoness only had a few seconds to prepare before she had the ever loving crap beating out of her by the abomination know as teddy weddy. She was then left in the snow, her body aching everywhere.
