Cassandra comes from the Greek mythology figure;
Amani comes from the Persian name meaning Trust/Security.)

Fav. Food: Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee.

Hobbies: Information Gathering - When Cassandra is hunkering for some knowledge, there is very little that can get in the way, and while other students might moan and groan at the thought of having to do research, she takes a strange delight in it. When given a topic to look into, Cassandra pulls out all the stops and dives right into the task, searching all available resources and spending extra time in the public or school library, diving into her studies. More often than not, she’ll get so into her work that she easily loses track of time and will even find herself researching a different topic entirely, but so long as she leaves a session with some knowledge left in her brain, she’s fine with it.
Portable Pocket Book - Cassandra has a pocket book, full of information such as names, home addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and all of it can be located in her head. She makes it a habit to memorize the person she meets, even if it is a brief encounter, soaking in as much information as humanly possible for her brain to hold. If someone missed what the professor said during the lecture, don’t worry. Cassandra will be glad to relay it to them with vivid detail, and she’s always pushing herself to make it up where she no longer needs a notepad when going to class. To other students, memorizing things is a chore, but to Cassandra, it’s a game that she enjoys playing.
Broadway Enthusiast - When Cassandra was little, her parents took her to New York City to see a live performance of the musical
CATS and ever since then, the Broadway fever continues to ravage Cassandra’s heart. She may not have seen every single performance of every single show that came through Broadway, but she makes it a habit to learn the songs, the performers, and her dream is to sit front row for each performance. She doesn’t necessarily have a favorite musical as she’s usually fond of whatever she watches or listens to, but if there is a chance of escaping to New York City to see a performance, Cassandra will definitely jump at the chance without a second thought.
Virtues: Bro Sister Code Enforcer - If someone tells Cassandra a secret, there is a 10/10 chance that she will keep it. Trust is a hard commodity to come by for regular people, but Cassandra takes it to the extreme when it comes to earning her trust. If someone else deems her trustworthy enough to keep a secret, then by thunder, she’s going to make absolutely certain that the trust is not betrayed and the secret is kept. No matter what the secret, no matter what the reason for hiding the secret, Cassandra will hold her tongue, for better or for worse.
Quick to React! - Assuming she’s not eye-ball deep in intensive research, Cassandra is usually well aware of her surroundings and will respond quick to outside stimuli. Not to say she’s easily distracted, but she’s able to hold up in a conversation as well as do her work, and if something changes, she’ll respond as quickly as humanly possible. So if someone has a question for her, she’ll try to offer a speedy solution and an answer, as she doesn’t like the idea of leaving others waiting for too long.
Extremely Passionate - When Cassandra does anything, she takes it very, very seriously. She might not be as outgoing as some of her classmates, but when it’s a topic she feels she knows a lot about and you disagree with her, she will not be afraid to express her opinion on the matter. She takes everything to heart and treats each assignment or task to heart, and once she’s set her mind on it, very little will pull her away from it. When something is given to her, be it a class assignment or a topic on an internet forum, she’ll boldly express her opinion with facts and with a hard to quell passion.
Flaws: Strict and Unrelenting - Cassandra is not a cattail wafting with the gentle breeze. If anything, she is a hard piece of red oak tree whose roots are so deeply grounded that not even a typhoon could dare cause her to sway or uproot. Once Cassandra has made an opinion about something, she’ll stick with it, even if there is a chance that she’s completely wrong. She’s extremely unrelenting with even the most minor of details or offenses and will go through great lengths to defend her stance on a matter, which gives the impression of being a stubborn bull. Others may call it being stubborn, but Cassandra merely thinks it’s called ‘sticking to her guns’, and this demeanor doesn’t help the matter in the least.
Jumping to Conclusions - On the matter of sticking to her guns, Cassandra is also quick to jump to conclusions, and sometimes, whether she wants to admit it or not, she jumps to the wrong conclusions. While she reads up on all sides of the arguments, she’s quick to dismiss the side that doesn’t immediately agree or settle well with her, and any sort of proof that one might show her can easily be explained away as ‘conspiracy’. Cassandra likes to think that she has everything figured out and will act upon her own judgement, just sometimes a little too quickly for her own good.
Overdramatic - While she is passionate, Cassandra also has a problem with not only jumping her guns, but jumping the shark, the whale, and the entire ocean entirely. She’s quick to blow things entirely out of proportion and turn an anthill into Mount Everest, all within a matter of seconds, and her passionate nature does her little good in diverting people’s attention away from her when she flies off the handle. Whatever the case, she puts entirely too much thought and effort into it to the point of near hysteria, and it’ll take a lot more than a paper bag to bring her back to a more manageable level.
