Advantages: It is able to condense and manipulate the chakra of its wielder by the will of the wielder it also has these chakra vents in the back of the blade and bottom of the hilt allowing it propel itself in the direction the user chooses the blade will also burn the hand of any who touch it with chakra who is unfamiliar to it
Disadvantages: It is heavy and using its chakra based functions consume a lot of chakra
