What Of Your Past: Archeren, born from a mage and an unknown being.
0-10, His first ten years of life was the easiest for him. Ever since he was five years old he has wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. He wanted to learn to become a mage. His father had forbade him from practicing magic. He pleaded with his mother, however she remained silent. Her voice was never to be heard. Archeren traveled around the library to search for a would be mage to teach him.
11-20. His Father found that he was sneaking around talking to other mages to learn how to use what he had specifically forbade it. He punished him by using a magical whip that damaged his ability to cast magic. It interrupted his ability to cast magic. He had received a blow that had shaken him from ever casting magic again. He went to his mother. Whom again, watched in silence. It must have been devastating to see her son being treated this way, but there was nothing she could do.
21-30 Archeren again disobeyed orders and found a Sage who was willing to disobey his father's orders and taught him how to cast the fundamental spells to any wizard, something that his father never truly understood. Archeren returned one day to the sage that had mentored him, to find out he was to be executed for Treason. Archeren snuck into the execution to try to free him, but it was hopeless. The Sage had said his last words, "Boy, listen to these words. Your father is a tyrant. He wishes to hold onto Magic, not just the magic of this realm that was created by your grandfather, but the magic of the original world. with an iron fist. You can stop him, but for now you must return to the original world. There you can perfect your magic. When you are ready return here. Sage Tynamos will promote you to Master Wizard." Then the guards came in and forced Archeren to watch them kill his former Mentor. Quickly, he gathered a bag and a robe. He then left the dimension. His Father immediately sent guards after him to bring him home.

31-150years. Archeren did well to dodge the mage slayers sents by his father. He had traveled. Growing old, he knew as a human he will die sometime soon. It was around this time he came to a rumor of an ancient magic that could give one immortality. Not immortality like the gods, but immortality as never die of old age. It was also around this time he had discovered the Staff of Arterimias. It was a unique staff that would allow him to cast magic through it instead of using his own magic. Therefore, he could use the charges in the staff to cast his own magic. Not only that it was able to transform into a ring for convenience. Even with his training he was able to defeat all the mage slayers.

151-250, Like his former teacher had told him, Archeren returned to his former homeland. His father appeared before him, demanding that he be executed. Archeren was not in the mood to deal with his father. He immediately asked to see the Sage. His father would not allow him. His father then initiated a mage duel with him. Archeren still followed the old customs, and accepted his challenge. However, he could not defeat him because of the customs. He was not a Master Mage. Only a Master Mage was allowed to actually fight the Leader for Rulership. Just as the battle was almost wrapped up, Sage Tynamos appeared before upon a cliff. "I Sage Tynamos hereby promote Archeren as a Master Mage for his skill with Magic and never giving into defeat." Archeren now had the rightful permission to defeat his father. He used all the magic he could master. He used the energy he saved up in his ring for those two hundred years. He finished him off. His father displeased with the defeat used a suicidal spell that was meant to take both of them. However, Sage Tynamos intervened and sacrificed himself his father. He looked for his mother. She had disappeared many years before he returned.
250-286, Archeren then took leadership and began to change the ways of kingdom.

Kingdom of Arün (Faction that is working on being created)
What Are You Able To Do:
The 7 Ancient Runes:
Rune of the Four Elements: A powerful Rune that allows the user to manipulate the four elements.
Rune of Flight: A powerful Rune that allows the user to control flight. The user may fly and control the flight of others.
Rune of Levitation: Allows the user to levitate himself and others. Not to mention other inanimate objects.
Rune of Creation: Allow the user to touch any inanimate object and it becomes alive controlled solely by the user.
Rune of Transmutation: Allows the user to transmute themselves with any supernatural power. For Example: Super Strength, Super Speed, Super Hearing, Super Sight, Super Smell. Only along these lines.
Rune of Reincarnation: Allows the user to reincarnate into another animal upon death.
Rune of Soul Stone: The owner of this rune allows the user upon death to absorb his soul into this Rune. Other Wizards/Sages can restore the soul to the body.

All 7 Runes are currently locked away in the Kingdom of Arün. They generate the plane. They catalyst being Archeren's spellbook.
Ring of Arün: Archeren can create Rings of Arün for the mages to be able to port back to Arün. The original Ring of Arün has the unique property to store magical energy to be used for later. Archeren may only use this at night before he sleeps. He may store the remaining energy for the day.

Summoning Spells: He has obtained the power to summon a Phoenix. This takes a huge amount of energy and he only uses it if he needs to heal an ally.
He has obtained the power to summon a Leviathan that only lasts 2 posts for the amount of energy it consumes. Leviathan is also summoned with a tidal wave of water.

Conjuration Spells: These are the list of objects he can summon.

Torch
Any household item

Transmutation Spells: These are the list of Transmutations he can make.
He can give him or someone else super Strength
He can give him or someone else Super Speed.
He can give him or Someone else amazing Gymnastics
He can give him or someone else super hearing
He can give him or someone else super smell
He can give him or someone else super eye sight

Air Spells:
He can shoot air blasts and lightning
He can call for Thunder
He can cast a Thunder Shield.
He can empower Golems with Lightning.
He Can create an air bubble.

Water Spells: (Must have Water as a source)
He can control Water.
He can create a Water Shield.
He can heal using water.

Earth Spells:
Earth Wall
Earth Shield
Mud Wall
He can empower Golem's strength with earth.

Fire Spells:
Fire Wall
Fire Shield
Fire Blast
Burning Fire: (It makes the enemy burn indefinitely.)

Transfiguration:
He can transform into any animal at will.
His favorite form is: User Image

Can Also Scry.

Staff of Artimiris: Transform into a Staff. Allows him to use his spells through the staff. The staff has 20 charges.

I don't be thinking so... Let's make a list... shall we?

#1: Your history is something that doesn't make sense in our universe. If he had a magic whip that could take away the ability to cast spells, then he would have not only a really OP weapon, but a weapon that would disrupt the Arcane Energy in a person. In this universe, if you run out of Arcane Energy, you get summoners sickness. After the second stage, you are pretty much dead...

#2: This isn't a faction anymore... this is a whole kingdom. People are going to have different view points. Most people probably saw him as a Tyrant. Not just a Master Sage. However Sages are not much of wizards either. They only study magic. They don't actually practice it for themselves.

#3: Your runes are to OP (Especially since you have access to all of them) Especially considering their power. If you have the ability to resurrect other people. Then that is an OP Item. That would mean that they have nothing to do with your 'Plane'. They are just really powerful runes.

#4: Your transmutation spells are crazy. Considering that any one of those things is super crazy... In the world of realism. (Trust me, it makes sense.) Super speed is impossible to survive. Super hearing would deafen you, and super smell and super sight would just be ludicrous.

#5: Name your spells... nothing worse than just random castings with random effects.

#6: 100 charges suggests a godly weapon... meaning that it has super powered effects. The point of Charges was to limit casting from living creatures. Not to super charge them. Reduce this number to about 20 or 25... that seems to be high enough.

My Character doesn't have a whip. It doesn't take a way magic. It has the ability to weaken one's connection with the Arcane Stream. His father was the only one who had that spell and as my history says, he died.

Two, it is a faction. A faction doesn't necessary mean it isn't a kingdom. Take Wow for example. I made it like this because the entire Faction is in a different plane. Which was approved by the captain.

Three. They are artifacts, and I cannot use them. These Artifacts must continually fuel the spell of the plane or the entire plane will fall apart and disappear, causing the runes to also disappear. Thus making them impossible to use.

Four, he knows the spells even though it would have an adverse affect on other people, just like you said. It would cause deafen and other stuff.

five, I haven't seen anyone else have to give a detailed report on all of their spells. If I recall, one person just has "Necromancy" listed. There is no default. I gave them a name. They sound pretty much as they are.

Six, it isn't supercharged. It allows me to use the spells I have at a normal cost. I say 100 because if I use nonverbal spells it will costs more to use. The same if I cast spells without hand gestures.

#2: This faction is a connection to a kindgom. Being that your the fathers son and he was ruler of a kingdom and this faction. All of those responsibilities fall unto you. Meaning that not only are you a faction, but your also in rule of a kingdom. Sure this is probably two separate things. Doesn't change the fact that you do in fact have a kingdom as a resource.

#3: If you read the power of a rune. You would know that they don't have a significant amount of power. As they only have the power of what they are written on. (Thus if they are written on small stone tablets, they would crumble after use.) I am not saying you can't have them, however I am recommending that you change them to golems. They have their own power source that do need maintenance. Also they would do a significantly better job.

#5: Then you just read my liche character. Find Alex Scriber. He has a detailed list. (Also the liche is a terrible example as he has limitless knowledge... who knows what he knows.)

#6: Normal cost is your own cost. Not the staffs. To transfer energy spent into charges is impossible as no one knows really what limit their character has. As living creatures have different sizes of energy. I have had Alex Scriber cast one advance spell and completely deplete him. Even with verbal and hand gestures. Also for the staff to have that much power. It would have to have taken either the lives of 5 High wizards to make, or 10 High wizards to make. I would doubt that any wizard would make one staff just for one person to use...

# 2 Factions and Kingdoms sometimes are not different. Apparently you didn't understand my WoW analogy. The Horde is a Faction made up of like 5-6 different Kingdoms with a ruling leader. If you wished this to not be the case then you should have defined a Faction. Not only that, it is his own generated plane, it doesn't have much natural resources as you think it would.

#3 I've researched runes before. There are those that are written and those that are designed. Runes that are written would be what you are explaining. Runes can also be given a form of which Magical energy continually form through them. Runes are words, words are the living essence of the thing that is controlled. Golems would be the worst idea ever, because in a "faction" if you lead and you have the ability to create Golems, it makes it dishonorable and the other members or people who live in Arun, fear you. It would spread mayhem. Golems tend to follow one master, it would be childsplay to send an army of Golems to kill everyone. Archeren, does not want to put the fear into his people, but be trusted. That is why Golems will not be allowed to be created in Arun.

#5 I can put a detailed list on a few of them. But I am not going to go through excruciating detail on each spell, because I do not have the time for that with my work, keeping the house clean, family issues, and trying to get a book off the ground and into a publisher. I just do not have the time to mess to much with it.

#6 In most, when magic comes to be involved, people have spent their energy to place it into weapons to use the magic that is needed when they need it. That way they are not completely taken by surprise if in a long fight are ambushed or what not. Nonverbal and no Hand Gestures are Metamagic. I am using this method because otherwise, no one would know what he was casting. Metamagic makes it so the spells can be used without words and without hand gestures, but at a larger price. This Staff is also to make up for that. Otherwise, he would die fairly easy.


Remember, this isn't some round about conjurer. He is a High Wizard. One of Few that I've seen. High Wizards tends to have more power than a street performer. I am not trying to god mod. I'd rather leave a guild than god mod. God Modders appear when there is a tight hold of strictness, because they feel the need to find a way around the rules. I know this from my own Guild that has long since passed. There was complete freedom, and the only one who actually god modded was a new account I made, because it was suppose to aid with the story. And you know what it did. The people did not like it at first, but then realized it has bettered the story in some way.

The captain has at least approved the kingdom and rune part. I am not sure of anything else.
