 The day had come that she had been predicting for a while. Ever since their chat with Samawati and Kwende, Fatimah had asked her none stop to train her. It wasn't that she hadn't wanted to, it was just the youngsters enthusiasm that held her back. What if she was too eager? Or too prideful? Fatimah's attitude got her into more trouble than it was worth, and it would kill her to know it had been her doing that got the adolescent killed.
Still, training her young and early would help her to ebb those wild ways. At least, Calypso hoped.
"What did we decide on the terms of this duel to be?"

 "If I win, you're going to tell Akairo that you're madly in love with him and that you want to spend the rest of your days with him." She stated it ever so dramatically, paw slung over her face and body hanging limp off the rock she'd been lounging on. With a grin, she slipped from the stone and paced towards the larger lioness. "That you've been dreaming of him for ages, that you can't wait to have his cubs, and that all you've ever wanted to do was call him Snoogly Snoog." Instead of being said in a mushy tone, the nickname was more nasaly, and ended on a bark of laughter.
When Calypso gave her a dirty look, she sobered, and rolled her eyes. "And if you win, which you won't, I'm going to volunteer to clean all the dens in the pride, which I won't."
