Lifting his mug he glances around grimly. No customers today. A storm was throwing everything around outside and it was quite chaotic. Fantastic he thought, today's profits surely are going down the drain.
Though he had to admit the taste of earl grey on his tongue and the storm almost made up for it. He loved a good strong storm he saw artistic beauty in the destruction of the after mass. Though he would never allow for it to be in any area of his business. Tidy and organized, anything else was simply unacceptable.

The Outfit was the only place he could get away from his work for awhile. Even though he owned the place and could easily allow operations here, he enjoyed having it separate from this place. He liked to socialize here and import new tea's. Mixing business with pleasure was distasteful and tacky in his opinion.

From his seat he could see one of the bench outside begin to move from it's intended location. Unacceptable.

In a thick voice he simply says "Aralain".

From behind the kitchen doors a female dragon comes out. Dark Black with yellow stripes and blue belly scales. She carries a pot of tea assuming a needed refill. She is almost always with him, or nearby, there is not many reasons she will part with him . Pointing to the window Aralain follows his finger, seeing the benches movement she hurriedly puts the tea pot down and rushes outside.

A heavy branch nearly strikes her but she shatters it to pieces. Aralain is a dragon endowed with electric abilities and thanks to her job she is quite skilled at accuracy.
After securing the bench she returns inside and brushes off any debris at the door. He would not like it on the floor.

Grabbing the tea pot again she refills his drink. Looking up at him she admires his handsome strength. Her leader.

"J, the weather has become quite fierce outside. Would you like to stay here tonight?" Smiling at him. She knew he would and that meant she got him all to herself! She wasn't being selfish, she just wanted some time with him. He was always so busy (she too helping alongside him) She cherished moments where they could sit and talk. When guests were around he preferred to be called Gentleman J or Just Gentleman always preferring professionalism around potential customers. Only in private could he be called J and only by his lovers. Only Dresden was allowed to use his first full name.

User ImageAllure hated precipitation of all kinds. She realized this now as the storm drenched her with water and then had the cruelty to slice at her with it's wind. It was as if the world wanted to make the desire demon miserable. She scowled at the wiggler in her arms. Stupid thing. It was all ITS fault. Why had she been saddled with this one again? She knew why she was taking care of it: Food. She was being paid in food and warm things to be a guardian. Normally she would be enjoying it. The little wiggler liked shopping, which Allure could apprecite: hence why they were at the shops.
And then the rain came and ******** up all of her plans for fun.

Jvale liked the rain. It made the sky dark and made everything quiet and dreary, just how she liked it! She wiggled in allure's arms.
"If you wore clothing, you wouldn't be wet" chirped the dragon, nuzzling her guardian. She adored Allure. Allure was so much fun!

"Shut up." grumbled Allure, shivering as she cursed at the sky and it's tendancy to open up on her. Shelter. She needed shelter. She refused to walk out in the rain or, worse, wait in it.
She tried the door to a shop, not even looking at what it was, just hoping it would take her inside to somewhere warm and dry.
It did.
"Oh thank goodness" she said, getting herself and her wriggler inside post haste.

"Yay!" Jvale wriggled, shaking off some wetness
Allure only grumbled something about it being her wigglers fault before looking around, finally, at her surroundings.

((I refuse to accept that she is grown! T.T))

High up in the clouds there was a dark purple dragon flying in the sky close to the strikes of lightning. Her body brewed electricity and and had hair of the galaxy. Udera loves thunder and lightning and finds them enjoyable and relaxing at the same time. She flew alongside the rays of lightning, admiring it, touching it, then chasing after it. Her whole body shivered with excitement and she couldn't help but smile.

Her curiosity got her to look through a patch of cloud and down below where she saw a building. Maybe a shop. Or a hut. Whatever it was, she showed no interest in it. What caught her attention was the female dragon moving towards the runaway bench. To her, it seemed to be electricity moving on the ground, and she was unable to to see that it was another dragon. "How peculiar... What is it doing there so close to the ground?" She was so high in the sky that she didn't think about other possibilities of what it could be, and parted with the lightning. She started to head down from the sky to take a better look. Curiouser and curiouser she got as the lightning on the ground was still moving and ended up disappearing inside a cave-like entrance, still unaware that she was headed toward a tea shop. The water drops sizzled as it hit her body, and evaporated into nothingness.

Tak'Hiss bit back a string of curses as she struggled to wade through mud up to her ankles under a steady torrent of wind and rain. She'd been soaked to the bone before the storm even began, thank-you-very much (and nearly drowned besides...but that's another story), and still half-a-day's travel from home. Bloody useless she thought as she trudged forwards, grimacing for the pain in her cramped muscles and newly acquired wounds. Would be damn nice to find a bit of solid shelter now.

There was an eye-searing flash of lightning, followed closely by a thunderclap. Blinking through the afterimage of the light, Tak'Hiss slowed to a stop just as a sizeable branch from the tree above broke under the force of the strong winds. She stood unconcerned as the branch made contact with her back, at which point it was a simple reflex to ~repel~ against the branch with telekinetic force. It almost seemed to bounce...and was then lifted up and blown away on the wind. Absently tracing the path of the branch through the wake of the wind, Tak'Hiss was faintly surprised to see a dim light in the distance and the hazy silhouette of another dragon. It's a building...she realized, abruptly jolted to alertness...must be some kind of settlement here. She'd heard about settlements and shops from her siblings, (her own guardian being something of a hermit and not very keen on taking wrigglers out to socialize) and she was somewhat curious.

Tak'Hiss carefully ~repelled~ as much mud and water as possible before approaching the door, nudged it open being mindful of the wind, and paused briefly at the threshold to take account of the others in the room. After all, though she'd be confident fighting in close quarters in a pinch, she wasn't very keen on being outnumbered. Two adult dragons, one guardian, and...is that little sister Jvale? Small world.

User ImageTarana had heard tell of a place where a dragon could kick back and mingle with other dragons, without having to worry about encroaching on another dragons territory. He was hoping he might find some unattached female to spend some time with, and this sounded like just the place. The rain was coming down hard, and lightning illuminated the sky every few minutes, but he didn't mind. What was a little rain to a dragon such as himself? He emerged from the trees and saw the building before him. He made his way inside and immediately his attention was drawn to a female dragon. Tak, is that you sister? Then he saw another familiar female. "Jvale!"
PostPosted: Sat May 04, 2013 7:12 am

Suddenly within the half hour quite a few dragons took refuge from the storm. He was surprised to see that he was not familiar with any of them and three were even related to each other!
This was a good surprise and opportunity.

"Welcome" he says tilting his head to every dragon that enters "My name Is Gentleman J, Please just call me Gentleman. I am the owner of this shop.". Smiling he gestures to the seats in case any would like to become more comfortable.

Aralain clearly disgruntled by the ruined moment just stares at the dragons. Not rudely just more of a really? kinda look. Laughing he rubs her back a little to compensate her for her loss, his laugh earning him a look.

"I shall start some more tea. Does anyone have a preference? There is almost no kind we do not stock here." Hearing the requests she heads into the kitchen to start the tea and fetch blankets in case anyone wants them. Regardless of the situation this was potential business to johnny or even just a chance to drink more tea and socialize. Maybe he would use the moment to relax as well.

peeking out she looks over the dragons to make sure none appear to be hostile. Although most knew the rules of The Outfit, these were all new dragons who may not be aware.

She saw lots of pretty blues and purples and wondered if they might all be related. Though the purple one had not really reacted to any of the other dragons in a familiar manner to suggest so.

(I'm bringing her in because I wanna XD)

Another loud boom and strike of lightning this time a little to close to her for comfort, Olum curses to herself. How dare that conniving b*****d send her out to do his dirty work in such shitty weather! Granted it hadn't been like this when she left, but she had warned him she smelt a storm brewing and he had disregarded it completely. "The package must make it there on time, any other time will not do."

If he hadn't the poisons she needed she would have turned him down completely. But her reserves were low and she was desperate. She didn't know what was in the package but she was ambushed three times for it! Even now on the way back to The Outfit she was ambushed, apparently confused they believed she still had it. Thankfully this dragon was young, she greatly outmatched olum in size, otherwise Olum wouldn't have had a chance. Her small size was quite a disadvantage. Unfortunately due to circumstance the female would not believe her and attacked with intent to kill. Olum reciprocated and won. She felt sorry for the dragon, but went on her way. She didn't know if there was more.

Now bloodied by the fight she stares in the window. Why the ******** were so many dragons in there (and a guardian)! The weather was horrible...so maybe they were taking shelter here. She was bloody from the fight still and now that there were other dragons she couldn't enter the front. That's bad business and she didn't want to piss J off. Though some of the other dragons had tracked mud in and despite his calm polite face she knew the mud was bothering him. Good she thought to herself he deserves a little discomfort for sending me out

going in the back entrance to the kitchen she see's Aralain, J's faithful little duck. Drenched and caked in blood and mud Olum sighs. The poor girl was doing all the work since the workers must have had left before the storm hit. She was to nice for this business.

Tarana sauntered over to his sisters, "Greetings girls". He noticed that his younger sister Jvale was here with her guardian. Tarana had not bothered with a guardian, and had chosen to remain with his parents. Tak was alone though, so he didn't know if she had chosen to join with one or not. A male dragon introduced himself, so Tarana replied, "Greetings Gentleman. I am Tarana, and if you don't mind, I'd rather have something a bit stronger than tea if you have anything back there." Tarana had acquired a taste for the liquor that some of the guardians liked to drink, but it was not easy to find it. He hoped this Gentleman J had some in stock. He looked at the offered seats and wondered why any dragon would even bother with such a contraption. He lowered himself to the floor and focused his attention back on his sisters. There were other females in the room, and a purple one had caught his attention.

It was a rainy and stormy day. The rain hit the leaves hard and was accompanied by the gusting wind, but it didn't manage to seep through the thick forestry. Ni'ma was in that forest. She had been there for days now and was proud to have explored a vast amount of land on her own. There was enough game living there and she even saw some newborns. By the time her tribe moved to this location they'd be fully grown by then, and would be available to be hunted down by her.

She was about to head back to tell her tribe about her findings when she smelled something. It was not sweet nor sour. It smelled flavourful. A smell she had not come across living with her tribe for many many years. That same smell made her want to find out what it is and bring it back home.

She followed her nose to the edge of the forest and stood there observing the situation. Not far away from where she was standing, there was an odd looking building. That's when she saw a purple creature running through the rain and disappeared through the front entrance into the building. A few minutes later a big blueish purplish dragon went inside. And another did the same thing but that one, however, looked strangely similar to the previous one. She was so confused. To make matters worse, she saw a white bloody dragon that avoided the front entrance and made her around the corner out of sight. That dragon was completely different than the previous ones she'd seen going inside... But there it was again. The scent she smelled not too long ago. She had to know what it is.

Ni'ma took a step out into the open but felt glad to be greeted with rain. That way it was harder to get noticed. She stayed close the ground and flew silently toward the back of the building. Once there she saw an entrance and peeked her head in and quickly flew away and back outside. There was another dragon. A grey and yellow one this time. She closed her eyes to calm herself down and waited. The scent she'd smelled became really strong and was coming from inside the building!. She heard running water but had no idea from where it came from. Again, she peeked inside and the dragon was gone.

Now's my chance. She flew inside and hid herself beside a wooden piece of furniture she'd never seen before. It had a lot of shelves and pots. Before the other dragon came back, she took a random pot from one of the shelves and opened its lid.. Not knowing what it was, she sniffed it. That was a bad move. Whatever she inhaled made her nose all itchy and she was about to sneeze!

Udera made her way down to the building. It seemed like she was the last one to arrive, if any were still to come in the pouring rain. She hesitated going in thinking that it was a trap. A trap to trap more than one dragon at the same time. She was being cautious and looked through the window first. Dragon, dragon, guardian, more dragons, and no poachers. Still that wasn't enough to convince her to go inside. So she listened in on their conversations...
She heard the male dragon with a cup of tea speak first. His name was Gentleman J.. The others didn't seem to fear him and she heard their names too. J'Tak, Jvale, and Tarana. What about that guardian. What was her name? But she had gathered enough information to step inside. Just for a little while.

Udera kept her distance, of course, since she doesn't befriend strangers so easily. One of them looked her way. She stared back. Unsure what to make of this awkward situation. If he pulls anything funny, I'll fight him. She didn't show much interest and scanned across the room. But Aralain had already made her way into the kitchen. Where did the moving lightning go? Without much luck, she didn't find what she was looking for and stayed near the exit. She was ready to leave.

Tak'Hiss perused through the selection of teas with some fascination. Lady Muscaria said to gather some of these leaves from a shrub one time, but the different types here are something else! She quickly dismissed the racks of familiar smelling herbs and flavourings, moving on to the more exotic ones that she couldn't identify.

She looked up with a ghost of a smile upon hearing her brother's voice. "Tarana," she said in acknowledgement, before he was momentarily distracted with addressing Gentleman J. She took this opportunity to settle into a seat and sneak another glance at their host. Maybe it was just her suspicious nature, but he and the yellow-striped lady beside him seemed to be somewhat more devious than they were letting on. She filed this thought in the back of her mind, and mutely indicated one of the fruity-scented exotic teas (with an appreciative nod) when the unnamed lady approached. I think I'd like a chat with you later on, Sir Gentleman J, she thought, taking a lingering look at their host, before turning her attention back to Tarana.

As it was, Tarana was looking at that purple female by the front door and she discreetly followed his gaze. By her estimation, the female looked spooked. "If you're going to speak to her, you'd better get to it before she runs off," she advised quietly, adding slyly, "Might be best to let it go. Play this wrong and I figure things could get bloody." I don't care to back you up if you do something damn foolish, but I'll enjoy the show, Tak'Hiss grinned, leaving the implication unspoken.

Tarana laughed at his sisters comment. Play it wrong? What exactly did she think he was going to do? Sure, the female was pretty, but he was not currently looking for one to mate with. He might ask her name later, if it appeared she was willing to socialize. For now, he would be content to catch up with his siblings, and just relax for a while. "I might do that later. So sister, what have you been up to since leaving home? Have you found a mate, or a guardian perhaps? I see Aisling found one for our little sister." He indicated Jvale. "What do you know about her guardian? Anything?"

User ImageThe Wiggler quite possibly bounced out of Allure's arms, onto the floor, and then telekinetically up again. And down.
"Tak'hiss! Tarana!" She wiggled over to them delightedly. She was so happy to see them! It had been so long!
"How are you? Jvale is good! Jvale is fine! Jvale has a guardian now!" She nosed at them before realizing that the pinstriped dragon had spoken.
Tea?
"Ally, whats tea?" unfortunately, she wasn't in on her sibling's telepathy. Her talents were telekinesis and darkness-bringing, but Allure was teaching her a bit of shapeshifting too!

Allure usually was fine with crowds, but living with Ashlu in her horrid hermit existence was taking it's toll. It was sort of startling to be in a room with so many dragons. All at once.
She was wet, she was cold, she was wearing very little, and something hot and drinkable sounded very good right now. She was really more of a coffee girl but the good thing about Ashlu was that she was beginning to get a taste for tea.
"Tea, Jvale, is a wonderfully warm drink with herbs and such. It's warm and tasty. Thats all you need to know."
Also, that dragon was handsome. Maybe she could find some of her own sustenance here, too. Wouldn't hurt to try- she had to get it where she could. She turned on the charm.
"Thank you, Gentleman. I think I would like tea. No particular preference here." Of course it was a double entendre. It was always a double entendre with her.
Oh, were these siblings of Jvale? Good. Maybe she could have a break from the little wriggler. Maybe some 'adult conversations'...

(switching to full color since i have three dragons going and ill get myself confused XD)

"Darn it!" Aralin sighs. The night was getting better and better. The jar of sugar was completely empty. Grunting about poor restocking skills she heads to the stock room next to the shower room to find some sugar. 'hmmmmmm' It was so disorganized....laughing to herself she realizes shes picking up J's OCD Habits. Having found the sugar she turns to head back and hears a sneeze. She stops and peeks around the corner. Another blue dragon, this time with stripes though and jet black hair. Looking at the long hair she's a little jealous. Why couldn't mine grow out that long! Signing she places the sugar at the end of the table not giving the startled dragon a chance to say anything. "Now now don't be a rude guest! You should not be in the kitchen!" taking the jar of tea from her hands she ushers her into the dining area with the other dragons. "Please refrain from entering the kitchen. if you insist on having anything from there please knock first" turning back into the kitchen she grabs the assortments of drinks (including the requested liquor) and begins serving them, even giving the Wurm a sweet berry drink instead of tea.. stopping at the female purple dragon with curved horns she realizes she never took her order. tilting her head she ask "Is there anything you might like?"

(sorry for not specifying shanra for "chairs for dragons I imagine those long body couch thingys Like this, you know how forgetful i am XD)

So many guests so quickly, This day was turning out fun.
Unsure of who to talk to he observes the conversation and waits for everyone to relax. There was a lot of dragons here and the tension to match.
Looking to Tak'Hiss he notices her wounds, though they did not appear life threatening he thought maybe they didn't feel the best. "Miss" He says to Tak'Hiss "You appear to be injured. Woulds you like some bandages and salve for them?"
He was enjoying watching the conversation as a by stander but didn't want to ignore the injury's or risk blood on the carpet. Mud was one thing but blood was harder to get out.

Suddenly Aralin comes from the kitchen pushing another dragon out. Clearly having decided she had come from here. Which clearly she had not. Watching her sharply he decided to observe her the most. He wasn't sure what she was doing sleuthing around the back. There was nothing here to find. But that wasn't the point and he couldn't call her on it with all of these dragons here.

the warm water felt good on her fur in contrast to the cold rain. She did not like the feeling of caked blood on her fur and was glad that J was fond of preening, most of his establishments housed a bathhouse. Uncommon for most dragons, at first she thought it was silly as all hell but quickly can to see the benefits. Especially when it came to getting branches and other natural junk out of her hair. Since the water was warm he was probably planning on using it himself. That made her laugh.

shaking off the water she reapplies her accessories and heads to the dining area. She didn't like tea but she knew J also kept some liquor and she could smell it.

Tak'Hiss shook her head in mock exasperation at Tarana's response, and the rapid-fired questions that followed. Where to start..."I was learning from Lady Muscaria, but she wandered off a little while back and I haven't bothered to seek her out since. Spent a few weeks tailing an older dragon under her guardianship for fun, but it's become...impractical to continue. It takes more skill than I have to beat up a water-manipulator in a fight out in deep water," Tak'Hiss admitted while prodding gingerly at an ugly looking gash on her forearm. "In short, I figure it's about time I set off and find somewhere new to fit in. You didn't have a guardian to begin with, I think? How has that been? Oh, and I can't say I know anything about Jvale's guardian, but she looks happy enough."

Turning towards the bouncing little sister herself, Tak'Hiss smiled more warmly, "I've been alright Jvale, and I can see your guardian is here with you. Would you like to tell us about the interesting places you've been to with her?"

While waiting for her siblings to reply, Tak'Hiss looked up to survey the room again and caught Gentleman J's eye for a moment, so she was sure that he was addressing her with his offer. She took a moment to catalogue her injuries, bruises and muscle strain mostly, then for cuts there's only the wicked gash down my arm and side where I scraped against that damn rock. Looks like the rainwater did alright cleaning it out, but it could start bleeding again if I twist the wrong way. Tak'Hiss had certainly had worse injuries in the past with no medical attention available, but it would be impractical to refuse bandages and risk getting blood on her host's furniture. The chairs here were really quite lovely and soft. "It's Tak'Hiss, Sir Gentleman J, and I'd like to take you up on that."

The dragon who had taken the orders for tea returned from the back room at this point, and Tak'Hiss accepted the mug offered to her with a grateful nod. She inhaled the fruity aroma appreciatively as heat from the beverage warmed her hands.
