Facing down massive ******** dragons? No problem? Accidentally killing old ladies? Mildly upsetting. Visiting Allan after transferring to Life? Almost impossible.
It had taken Rep days, absolute days of agonising, and even as he made his way to Allan's room he was still doubting the wisdom of stopping by. Simon might be angry that after all he'd said Rep still insisted on upsetting Allan. Then again, Rep didn't feel like he'd ever really upset Allan, he wasn't sure it was even possible to upset the man really, his delusions were an impassible wall of positivity where he was safe. Even when he'd messed up his promotion mission he'd simply been disappointed, and that had been worse than any upset. It anyone was going to be hurt by a conversation, it was going to be Rep himself, and that was nothing he hadn't earned.
He felt out of place and small here without his grand fur ruffed coat, without the sun emblem. Killzone's coat had belonged to a much bigger man, both physically and in personality.
Pausing by the door-less entrance he called out - his voice more timid than it had ever been.
"Allan-taicho, sir, are you there?"

"One minute!" There was a muffled shout from the other side of the door, a series of questionable thumps, and then the door practically burst open from its hinges-
-Revealing Allan, what looked like a replica of Mjollinr from Thor created entirely from Runics, an open display case with some new impressive weapons being polished, and boxes and boxes of unsorted manga that seemed to be in mid-organization as well. He beamed. "Rep-kun!"
And then for lack of a better word, forgot he was holding a weighted replica of a giant hammer, and slammed Rep on the back with it in his attempt to enthusiastically hug him potentially to death. Allan did relinquish his hold after realizing that his weapons cache was still untended to, taking two steps back. He seemed a little conflicted, and then leaned over to whisper very loudly (even though they were the only two people in the room), "Simon-kun told me H-kun kidnapped you but don't worry, I have a plan that will save you!"
He enthusastically pointed to his unshelved manga collection, that apparently had quite a few covers of young beautiful men staring intensely into each other's eyes with sparkles and flowers. One of the covers also looked kind of like a slightly less beautiful rendition of the actual Death lead was busy in intense throes with a blushing Sun Assistant, who was for some reason, wearing a butler outfit.

Rep was never not surprised by the sheer enthusiasm of the sun lead, and barely had even a moment to admire the new weapons before he was swept up in a bone crushing hug that was enough to knock the air right out of his lungs as well as almost break his spine and ribs with a hammer. He didn't even mind, a hug was pretty much what he felt like he needed, whether it strained is shield to breaking point or not.
Released, he gave the other man a very dazed look as he tried both to recover from the hug and for his brain to catch up with what had been said. H-kun, H, had kidnapped him? And Allan wanted to save him.
"Sir?" he said, whatever glum expression he'd had before completely replaced by a look of intense bafflement and maybe just a bit of hope.
He followed Allan's gesture to the manga and raised a brow, it was a lot of flashbacks to that bizarre handsome man pool party where he'd done an inordinate amount of sparkling at Harrison and Jordan. There was an immediate worry that this plan would be more than a little off the wall.
"Is...that?" he stammered. Surely not.

"Oh, yes," Allan nodded sagely at Rep's choice of yaoi cover, "I got that commissioned a while back. He pulled open the manga, or doujinshi, really, arbitrarily showing a random spread where, well, there was definitely some spreading going on-
- "I think," Allan whispered loudly, "H-kun has a thing for megane. I saved this just for situations like these, situations of importance! Come, Rep-kun! We shall go to his office together and trade your freedom for this scroll of temptation! Together we will defeat the terrible evil together!"

Rep stared at the doujinshi in a combination of surprise and horror and was reminded that it wasn't always repeated death or monsters that were the source of long lasting trauma on this island. He wasn't sure he'd ever look at the Death lead the same way again.
"They have very ******** impressive ... hands. Sir." he said as tactically as he could manage.
He had no idea what megane meant but in context just chalked it up to mean extremely dangerous trysts.
And they'd have to go to H's office. And trade him. Oh.
Well, he thought, his life probably couldn't get any worse at this point and it would almost be worth it to see how H would respond to being presented with such a unique trade. "You sure sir?" he asked. "I mean it's a very rare comic right?"

"Oh yes," The Sun Lead agreed, nodding enthusiastically and missing the point entirely, "It is very, very, very rare. The only one of its kind actually! But sometimes, when you really want something just as important and rare, you will be willing to trade anything for it." He shrugged, tossing the manga back into the box and taping the whole box closed with Hello Kitty duct tape, "Well, that should be all of them! Allan-taichou's super special prize A bribe collection to trade back Rep-kun's freedom!"
He hefted the impressively heavy box on one shoulder. "You ready to go?"

For just a moment, Rep was completely robbed for words, struck dumb by the flippant kind words of the other man. Sure it was a disturbing comic, but it wasn't every day that he got called special or rare - maybe uniquely useless or special in a only your mother could love you kind of way, but never in such a presumably well meaning fashion. Compliments were not something he had ever been wealthy in, so they mattered immensely regardless of how small they conceivably were. After a moment he nodded dumbly. Sure, H would probably be completely nonplussed in every possible way, but Rep found he didn't care any longer. Allan was willing to trade things important to him on his behalf, it didn't ******** matter how other people valued those things, it was all about intention.
"..Aye.. aye man, sure. I'm ready. Nae bother." he said, with a subtle smile and a shrug before obediently following the Sun lead.

Allan was one of those people where it didn't matter what he was doing, it didn't matter if he was just trying to become zen by waterfall meditating or reading manga or making fortresses out of boxes of green tea, pretty much everything he did seemed to be done at ten-thousand percent. He marched enthusiastically out of his room, down a few flight of stairs, waving cheerfully and saying his round of hellos, ganbatte's and various other forms of encouragement as they passed through a few hallways, across the training field - a few Sun Hunters straightened up, pretending to work a little harder as Allan passed by, though some sort of gave Rep a look - and then finally made their way to the Life Labs.
Unfortunately, both the generous population of Life and Moon Hunters did not seem to receive the Sun Lead as encouragingly, several of them simply giving the pair extremely resigned looks, wondering who's turn it is to babysit.
A few minutes later and the door to H's office would burst open revealing sunshines and sunny sun rays and happiness and things that probably would have spontaneously created a beautiful combination of sparkling roses, puppies, and rainbow unicorns, and maybe some shoujo bubbles.
"We are here!" Shouted Allan, informatively, without any sort of context. lizbot Hello world I am here o u o

Glancing at the Sun lead over the rim of his glasses, the doctor replied mildly, "Yes, so I see." He stared a beat longer and then made a shoo-ing gesture, "You may go now."

Rep followed Allan with a sort of quiet admiration, he could only really dream of such immense force of personality. He was positively normal when set next to Allan, which for a change was nice. Especially when he staunchly had to avoid the looks from the training hunters. The looks in the labs he was used to though, he could handle the exasperation any day, it was the judging that was the problem.
When Allan simply burst into H's office, a little bit of self preservation came into play and he edged just slightly behind the Sun lead. Just in case. H wasn't being overtly hostile in the least, but the go away was very evident.

"NONSENSE!", Allan shouted very loudly, a noise that might have frightened lesser souls. Thunk went the box of offerings right on the desk, squishing thankfully one of the emptier parts of the table as the Sun lead beamed down on H. He then posed, because there was always time for posing, as he raised both arms in the air and struck a majestic K shaped pose. "Even in the darkness there is always light! Believe in yourself, believe in us, and our kokoro will become one, together! H-kun! Can you feel the friendship in this room! We shall use this to overcome all evil!"
The context was on a scale one to vague, somewhere between Allan might have been preparing H (yet again) for the fact that he really wanted his own personalized runic waterfall in his room, or that he would like to borrow the Life Techs (yet again) to build yet another training course that involved the worlds Pokemon and Gotta Catch Em All. It didn't help that Rep, instead of trying to clarify things, was hiding.

Compressing his lips for moment, almost as if holding in a pained sigh, the doctor then gave the two a brittle smile. The way his eyes narrowed on Rep indicated just who would be paying for this later. "And what, precisely, is the evil we're overcoming today?"
The doctor's eyes drifted downward, as if contemplating the merits of trapdoors.

Rep couldn't help but give Allan a sidelong admiring look. The man just gave no ******** at all. Here they were in the office of just about one of the most intimidating guys on Deus and he was just putting things on his desk and lecturing him. It took all his willpower not to grin like a complete idiot, he wasn't sure how he'd gotten caught up in this but he'd be damned if it wasn't hilarious and amazing.
At least until he spotted the way H was looking at him, right about then any and all attempt to suppress a smile was no longer necessary. He held up his hands as if absolving himself of this entire situation.
"I went to see Allan-taich.. Allan, to apologise for what happened." he said. "That box has very rare comics in it." His gaze darted from the box on the desk back to Allan and back to the box and his voice sounded very small indeed. Trying to explain Allan's actions always felt like somehow diminishing the man. He didn't like other people speaking on his behalf either, usually due to his ******** accent. "I think it's a trade, man."

Allan perked up at the word comics. "An offering, for the mighty H-kun!" He pointed to the box, clearly expecting the Life lead to open it and enjoy it, or something. The Sun lead continued to talk. "Well, what do you think? Will you free Rep-kun from his shackles of injustice, so that he too, may rise to the skies, to aid us again in the path of justice, light, freedom! He has seen his ways! Let us fight together!"
Crash went something on H's desk. Allan didn't even seem to notice, instead staring at H with an extremely serious expression. At last, very slowly, he crossed his arms, nodding sagely. "Rep-kun might have learned a LIFE lesson here, but he is my SUN."
He was pretty proud of himself for that one.

"Oh," the doctor purred, his eyes lighting up with pleasure, "Oh, I see. You want young William back? Well, I'd love to but..." giving a dramatic sigh, H frowned sadly, "...I'm afraid it would just break my assistant's fragile little heart. She's taken a protective interest, you see, and I would so hate to see her lose another friend to your division's tragic habit of dying horribly en masse."
Picking up the Caelmon doujinshi, the doctor paged idly paged through it as he continued, pausing only once to take a photo with his phone and send it to the Death Lead. "I know you care quite a bit for your ah...nakama, Allan, but that doesn't actually keep them out of the meat grinder. How many have died in just the past year, can you even keep count at this point?" The doctor tsked, possibly at the Sun division's mortality rate, possibly at some particularly egregious anatomy.
"Of course you simply want to keep those under your care at your side, but quite frankly you can't even save William from himself, let alone the battlefield, or..." a smirk, "...the forces of evil."
Placing the comic back into the box, the doctor looked up at the other lead with a pleasant smile, "And by all that, I mean: no." Raising his eyebrows, he asked, "Was that all?"
