The golem didn't exactly wander too far. The freedom to move around and do what you wanted was exquisite. Unfortunately for Armagnac it was a...limited freedom. She did, however, have a few pressing matters to attend to. Or one, really. She was sick of the whole situation on so many levels, and Sherry just didn't seem to understand it properly. Armagnac knew that with time, her hunter would come around. Eventually. Probably. Everything would blow over, and peace would reign in Armagnac's world again. That knowledge didn't change the fact that the lindwyrm was boiling pile of annoyed, disgruntled rage. And unlike her hunter, Armagnac had little trouble letting others know how she felt. It wasn't far from Sherry's door to Jake's. Her knocks on the door were slow and deliberate. If Jake were home and bothered answering the door, he'd find a very tall, very green reptilian like lady waiting for him on the other side. Armagnac was grinning, and her tail was slowly swinging side to side behind her. She'd waited oh-so-long for this.

Jake had gotten back to his room not that long ago, and was starting on his mission reports, when he heard the knock. ... Chester? Oh, great, what did that idiot do now? Or... did he forget something? He paused, spinning around in his chair to eye the white bundle of cloth in a corner that was his trainee coat. Maybe it was probably better to have given that to him instead. Yah, he was probably back to swap coats.
Getting up, he walked over and grabbed the coat and pulled the door open. "Chester, I-" He paused, staring down. ... claws? He was pretty sure Chester was wearing shoes... and his skin wasn't that colour...
His gaze slowly travelled upwards until it rested on the golem's face. "... Armagnac?"

The grin she was already wearing widened, and she lifted one hand, placing on the door above Jake's head.
"Yes, Jake. Perhaps you are quicker than I give you credit for." She kept her smile as toothy as she could, looking down on the death hunter. She hoped he could see the malice in her golden eyes.
Half a moment later, she was leaning in, pushing on the door. Her foot soon followed. She had every intention of entering his room, and any protests he might make would only be laughed at.
"We need to speak." Her tail twitched, rather gracefully, if she had to describe it.

He frowned, but didn't resist, stepping back to let the golem in. He might not have been listening, but he at least picked up the part about golems not fighting, and that it costed a whopping 5k to repair. Money he wasn't willing to dish out if he was the one to break Armagnac, which also meant, he was pretty sure the golem wouldn't do anything extremely drastic.
It was like Ofie on leashes. On a LOT of leashes. "Well, I don't have anything to say to you." he muttered, turning around to work on his mission reports again.

She was still grinning, and she had no intention of stopping.
"That is acceptable," she was speaking slowly, and using her 'I'm better than you are' voice. "You need only listen." She crossed her arms and stood there for a moment, watching him.
It was several moments, really, before she spoke again. "I've come to tell you thanks. Thank you, Jake."

... Thank you? "...Oh, you mean proving you right?" He huffed. "If that's all you came here to say, then please leave. I'm quite busy, as you can see."

"Precisely." She said it almost as though she liked the way the word tasted. Not that golems could taste, but that was beside the point.
"However," she moved now, taking one large step toward Jake and placing a clawed hand on his shoulder and pulling him around to face her. She leaned over just a little, and asked, "I have much more to say. Do you know what you have done, little worm?"

And now she sounded just like Ofelia. "What, that she's broken and completely useless now? That's not my problem. She should learn to deal with it."

Armagnac's left hand grab a nice amount of Jake's shirt, and she pulled him in close, leaning down so their faces were far closer than before. "See," she said through her grin, "It's my problem. Now, I know that means nothing to you. What you have to understand though, is Sherry is MINE. I don't like having my things broken."
She let of his shirt and stepped back. "You owe me an apology. What gives you the right to break my things?"

His gaze held hers as she pulled him close, never wavering, and when she let go of his shirt, he turned around, staring at the reports.
"It's not my fault she was already broken in the first place. You want me to lie to her and say that I'll cherish her forever and ever, that I'll be there by her side no matter what? Don't make me laugh. If you want to fix her, just have her find another man. I'm sure there's a handful who are just jumping at the chance of getting hooked up. Just fill that void up with someone else. Problem solved."

Armagnac let her grin drop. She didn't like the way he was turning his back to her. It was rude and annoying. She also didn't like what he was saying. Looking down at her hand, Armagnac flexed her fingers, taking a moment to admire her claws. she thought. It would feel wonderful to pull his lungs out and feed them to him. Stupid, useless golem.
She didn't bother putting on her happy face again. She did reach out and grab his shoulder, turning him back around. "There are two things we need to get straightened out right now. One. Sherry is full of squishy feelings that don't work like that. Two. She is worth one hundred of you, and I wouldn't ever want you anywhere near her for anything more intimate than a spar."

When he felt himself being spun around, he sighed, and stared at Armagnac with a deadpan look. Part of him really wanted to punch her, but no, He'd at least have the courtesy of not making Sherry having to dish out 5 grand because her golem was stupid. That, and he didn't want to pay for it either. He didn't even have the money.
"Well, I wouldn't know that. You know her best, don't you? And I'm glad we can agree on something, so tell her to find something more worthwhile. Isn't that how girls are? Give her a guy who'll show her some attention, and she'll be head-over-heels for them. There's probably some stupid online dating stuff for desperate hunters in the life labs or something. Just have her sign up for that and she won't be pining for stupid stuff anymore."

"You are not listening," her free hand rose, and one long, clawed finger tapped against Jake's temple. "You need to listen. One," she repeated, "Sherry doesn't work like that. I've tried to replace you." The hand on his shoulder shifted, grabbing a fistful of shirt again. "She had little interest in such things, believe it or not."
"But you," her free hand patted his hair, then moved back down to rest on her hip. "You." Armagnac shook her head. "You were cruel."

He huffed. "I don't understand her. Why me? What does she see in me that others don't have? Is it because I'm younger than her? Because I have dyed hair? Is it because I treat her like s**t? Because I'm starting to think she's a masochist. Is this like some kind of challenge for her? That she'll get bonus points if she can get me to reciprocate her feelings?"
He glared at the golem, not appreciating the fact that his personal space was being invaded. Seriously. WOMEN. "Yah, sure, I'm cruel. How else will I get it through that thick skull of hers that I'm not interested? How do I make her stop liking me? I sincerely doubt kindly ASKING her to stop liking me will work. Why don't you enlighten me?"

Armagnac snorted. (give her a break ok, she's a dragon) "Why you? She's convinced there is something of worth in you." The hand at her hip rose again, her forefinger extended to tap him in the chest. "She seems to think you actually have a heart. Some nonsense about feeling nice and safe with you, too. I've told her she's foolish, but you see, the thing about Sherry is she loves.
"She cares. Too much, about everyone. But you, you make her all fluttery in here." She tapped his chest again.
"And yes. Asking probably would have been the easiest way. Here's what you did." Armagnac turned her free hand over, and opened her remaining fingers. She'd brought a prop. A small flick of her wrist, and she was holding a small glass vial with an amber colored cap. She held it up so Jake could see the Amber colored liquid inside. "This is Sherry. See the squishy liquid. That's her heart. Sweetling is smart enough to keep is all behind this cute little barrier, transparent as it may be. Now. If someone like you," she pointed the vial at him, "were to say, 'Sorry, Sherry. I don't like you like that,' then boom, it's like, dropping her."
Armagnac held the vial out and away, and let it fall. It his the floor, bounced once and rolled slightly. Then it was still. "Now," Armagnac was looking Jake in the eye. "Yes, she'd probably care for the rest of her life, and maybe even hope forever. That is who she is. But she'd try to hide so she doesn't bother you."
Armagnac grinned again. "But you. You worthless little worm. You were cruel." Armagnac gave her tail a flick, and it sent the vial across the room and into the wall where it shattered. "You broke that nice little shell she had, and sent her squishy heart out all over.
"I have to thank you on one level, because it means I get to put those sharp little pieces back together how I want them," she was patting his head again. "But you broke my hunter's heart. For nothing. You stupid, worthless little worm." She was stroking his cheek with one hand, and still clutching his shirt with the other.
"She thinks it's all her fault. But we know better don't we?" The scent of spice and flowers began to fill the room.
