Hekate wasn't particularly fond of golds. This was a well known fact and while she didn't outright hate them she'd always harbored somewhat of a lasting dislike since the events of Sunnath's flight. The only goldrider Hekate could honestly say she liked was Abigail and that was in a sort of familial way. She'd always figured that if she'd had a grandmother or a proper mother they would have been a bit like the senior Queenrider and many of the quirks that had the rest of the Weyr criticizing her only seemed to make Hekate a bit more sympathetic. However on the list of goldriders Hekate tolerated Narisa was a close second and that was mostly because she was both a Trine gold and in general seemed to be a bit more logical and level-headed then Kindra.
As such out of the two she was clearly the obvious choice of whom to approach. Mostly because Hekate wasn't entirely sure that despite her keen control of her fair that she could keep the lot of them from trying to swarm Kindra upon sight. Something Devith may or may not have encouraged. This didn't however stop Hekate from being somewhat nervous as she stood staring at the door to the goldrider's weyr her arms full of scrolls. Standing there made what she was trying to do feel very and all to suddenly real and this both frightened and thrilled her to the core. The work she'd set for herself wasn't going to be easy. It would take time, careful planning, and cultivation, but in the end there was no doubt in her mind that her efforts would be worth it. She just had to convince Narisa that it would be worth it not only to her, but the Weyr as well. After a few moments though she took a deep breath drawing on her own courage and the mental nudging of Devith, adjusted her grip on her scrolls and knocked.

Devith's approaches. Cepheith's honey tones lazily informed her. The Gold herself was curled up in her wallow, mostly dozing though still aware of anyone that approached their shared weyr.
Narisa paused in her paperwork, glancing towards the door. Hekate was coming? What did the Silverrider have on her mind? A small frown creased her features. It wasn't often that the young woman came to see either herself or Kindra. And never just for a friendly visit. Was everything alright? Slightly concerned, the Goldrider marked where she'd left off going over part of the inventory of the Weyr's supplies coming in.
She does not look upset. But she carries things. Scrolls.
Thank you, Ceph.
She cleared space on the desk she was using and rose to fetch a couple cups and a jar of sweet wine she had. The knock on her door came as she set the drink and cups down. Moving to the door, Narisa opened it and gave Hekate a friendly smile. "Good afternoon, Hekate. Please, come in." She stepped back and gestured for her to enter. "Would you care for some sweet wine? I'm afraid I don't have any klah at the moment. Though if you'd prefer it, I can send for some." Scrolls. Several of them. Her concern mostly vanished to be replaced by curiosity. "Tell me, what brings you to my hut? Is everything alright?" Hopefully she and Kindra hadn't had a spat or something of that nature.

Hekate really shouldn't have been surprised at how quickly she was welcomed in. Cepheith undoubtedly must have alerted her rider to her presence not unlike Devith or one of Hekate's numerous hordes of flits would have done for her. Flashing the woman a somewhat weary, but friendly smile she stepped inside. "I would absolutely love some sweet wine. I think that was one of the things I missed most about weyrlinghood. I'd always had a taste for wine and for obvious reasons it was rather unwise to partake of any for a time." She joked shifting her grip on her scrolls as she stepped inside. One of which suddenly began to squirm.
"Drat it Countess get out of there!" Hekate hissed playfully reaching up with her partially free hand to drag a little bright green chirruping firelizard from where she had taken to napping inside one of the curled up scrolls and quick deposited her in her front pocket. "I swear you get into everything." She muttered shaking her head before turning back to Narisa. It always amused Hekate that people automatically assumed that if she was showing up somewhere something had clearly gone wrong.
"Everything's fine actually if you don't count the fact I have half the Weyr's flits following me around on occasions. Actually I wanted to speak with you on some manners. I've been informed that you and Kindra" And Hekate really did try to somewhat temper the dislike for the woman in her voice, but that didn't stop a slight hint of less then displeasure from slipping in there. "Have been assigned to oversee the District leader project." She explained glancing at the cleared table.
"Would you mind?" Hekate asked motioning to the scrolls in her arms and the nicely cleared surface.

Narisa gave a small chuckle, shutting the door first before moving to pour them both a cup of the sweet wine. "I dearly missed it as well, I must admit." She confided with a grin. "Especially having grown up as a vintner! No win. Ha!" But for Ceph, she'd done whatever she'd had to do. The squirming scroll and sudden appearance of a flit made her laugh.
A grumble and hiss came from somewhere in the vicinity of her shelves, where her black flitter was hiding out. But it was the excited chirrup and flailing of her... not so bright green flit that came to great Countess' appearance. Hallow managed to scramble up onto the table and not skid into the wine cups.
Shaking her head, Narisa scooped up the flit and placed her at her shoulder, where she sat. And forgot about Countess.
Nothing in her expression changed as Hekate tried not to let her dislike of Kindra be noticed. But Narisa wasn't surprised, really. Especially knowing how her friend and roommate could be and who Hekate's weyrmate was. Instead, the junior weyrwoman just gave Hekate a small, understanding smile. "Ah, yes. I had heard you were going to be one of our district heads." She moved the two cups out of the way but still within reach. "Go right ahead."
"And I'm not sure if it's quite half the Weyr's flits just yet. I believe there is one rider that has you beat by a few flits?" Narisa teased, thinking about Wykla.
