Kahawia was humming a small tune to himself, tidying up the forest clearing of his territory. He was looking around him and decided that he would make a small flower and herb circle. He walked around a bit, and decided on some nice, colourful flowers and wonderful scented herbs that would do the trick. He arranged them so it would go Flower, herb, flower, herb... and so on. he smiled at his now completed work. He sighed, and saw a rustling in the bushes. He decided to check it out.
He poked his head into the bushes. A hare gave him a glance, and hopped away. Kahawia didnt harm it because he had promised himself that hares and avains were safe from harm from Kahawia. He walked back over to the forest clearing, and lied down. A ray of sun caught his dark green fur, and he closed his eyes and almost drifted away completly to the scent of flowers and herbs, the sound of the wind rustling the trees around him. The feel of the warming sun. It was all so peaceful. He had picked the perfect place to settle.

Well it has certainly been an eventful few days for the lioness. She'd been involved in a stampede, battled a horde of sea gulls, and even left home for a while. It was really exciting to say the least, though she probably could have done without the stampede part. That was a bit too dangerous for her taste! Now here she was, once again roaming the lands, only this time she had a destination in mind. Last night the stars had told her that Dhoru would be returning soon, and that she should return home as well. And that's exactly what she was doing. Well if she could stop bumping into adventure anyway. Giggling to herself, she had no idea that she was lazily walking into someone else's territory. She was a pretty laid back lioness, very spoiled to the inner sanctum of her home. Where no one meant harm, and there was no such thing as intrusion. As she walked, a hare hopped by her path, and she politely dipped her head to it in respect. "Good bye little friend!" Lifting a paw, she waved goodbye and continued down her path. Hardly taking notice of the larger male lying only a few feet away.

Depawsit This is probably gonna be my last reply for tonight. But i will either get to it tomorrow or sunday, depends on how busy i am Kahawia opened his eyes to the perky voice Goodbye little friend! He got up, stretched, and realized the voice came from a wandering lioness. "Welcome, miss. What brings you here?" He asks this a little shyly but it is his territory, so he also has boldness in his voice. He smiles at the lioness, and motions his head to where he is.
"Come, sit! Enjoy the sun and scents and sounds!" Kahawia always knew the forest had been a calming place for felines to relax, so why not invite them to come talk, relax, and have a general good time, surronded by the nature. He smiled at the beauty all around him, and lied back down.

Nema nearly jumped out of her skin at the sound of the male's voice. It was so loud, and right in her ear! Not that she cared, she was just more put off that he had been able to sneak up on her. It took her a moment to regain her composure before she was able to reply to the male. "Oh I was just walking by. I'm sorry to interrupt, I hadn't realized someone lived here!" Her words were a bit frantic, but she thought she held herself together nicely. As she focused more on the lion, her eyes grew wide at the display he had set before her. It was quite lovely, she had to admit. But she was wary to sit, she knew a thing or two about strangers ... "O ... OK." She smiled faintly as she made her way over, and offered the male a short bow. "It sure does smell lovely out here. There must a large variety of flowers around here huh?"Bloo Starr No problem! I'll be around, just quote me when you get to it!

He gave her a welcoming smile, noticing that she was clearly wary of strangers "well, is not only me living here. There are a few others, but they arent wround right now. And yes, there are many different flowers out here. It was a lovely place to settle..." He started to trail off as Kahawia realized he had started to babble.
Quickly apoligizing, he said "Sorry if i start to babble miss. I don't get many visitors unless they decide to stay here." He gave her a bit of a sad look, but turned away quickly, shyly, if you will. He was always a shy lion at heart. Sometimes that factor was hard to hide. he closed his eyes again and breathed in the scent of the flowers. It was just so peaceful...

The lion's words made Nema feel sorry for him. She knew how it was to be lonely and she would never wish it on anyone. Though it did help to warm her heart, that other lions did live in the area. Even if they weren't here at the time. "Yes it definitely seems like a lovely place, the aroma alone is enough to catch one's attention." She noticed the male's shy actions and offered him her most comforting smile. "Oh no, you aren't babbling it all. I enjoy the company, though I can't stay long." She paused a moment debating whether she should divulge her personal story to him. "I have just received word that my mate will be returning home to our pride soon. I guess that means its time for me to return as well." Nema's heart began to thump lightly in her chest at the thought of seeing Dhoru once more. "Oh i'm sorry, here I am telling you my life's story and we haven't even exchanged names! My name is Ghost Whisperer."Nema dipped her head in polite respect to the male, hoping he would return the honor of a name.

Kahawia returned her smile. "They call me Kahawia, and my fellow gathering pride members call me King sometimes. Usually, its just Kahawia."He said his name proudly, and was wondering what pride this female came from. "Where do you come from, Ghost Whisperer?" Kahawia returned the head dip also, obviously they both knew how to show respect for each other, sometimes that kind of thing was hard to come by.
Kahawia actually didn't mind hearing her stories. Many nights would go by where the lions he had gathered together told storys by the waterfall, sharing the beatiful night together. "I actaully don't mind your stories. Here, we always share stories" He smiled at that, hoping she would perhaps tell him more...He would have to see, wouldn't he?

Nema's nervous smile became one of joy at Kahawia's introduction. "Ka-ha-wee-ah" Nema shot him a cheesy grin, proud at herself for being able to pronounce the name. It was so much different than the names she was familiar with. "Its such a lovely name! I've never heard anything like it!" Her happy grin continued as he spoke on. So he was a King? Kind of like Fireheart was a queen, for an instant she thought of grovelling at his feet. But then she remembered how much her own queen had rejected such an event. Better to safe than to offend, she thought as she simply nodded her head. "Oh, I come from the Kizigo'zaa. I bet you haven't heard of us, we tend to keep to ourselves quite a bit."Relieved by Kahawia's next comment she jumped to her paws once again and nearly skipped in excitement. "Really? Oh well I bet i'd fit right in! I have a lot of stories to tell!" Nearly stepping on the King's paws, Nema pulled herself back to attention. "Would you like to hear some?!"

Kahawia smiled gently. Hearing new stories would be great! "I would love to hear your storys Nema! New stories are always the most exciting." He thought about the name of her pride...he had heard of it breifly,it was one of Ushuru's stories, because his little dove friend had been to many lands above. He had said it was always fun watching the hustle, bustle, and daily life of prides from above. "My friend Ushuru has told me about the Kizingo'zaa. Only a few tales here and there, but i have stil heard of it"
Kahawia was glad Nema liked his name, it was always special to him. "Thank you, it was a very special name, given to me by my whole family...I mss them very much. But one day, the pride will be my new family" He smiled with a bit of sadness, but he mentally shook it away. He looked at her with interest and told her "go ahead and tell me any story."

The more Nema listened to Kahawia's comments, the more her heart felt for his. Not long ago, she had been in his very situation. Missing the ones that she had once called family, all alone she had grown to accept that she could never see them again. But in her heart, she still pained over the loss. Reaching out a paw to his, she patted it gently in condolence.
"I know how you feel, and I know that one day your pride will be your family. I am walking proof of that." Smiling sweetly at Kahawia she became excited once again at his acceptance.
"Alright, so my first story is called 'Battle for the Beach!" Nema lowered her voice to something lower than a whisper and then let out a fierce giggle, before launching right into the action. Bloo Starr I think we can end this one here. Unless you wanna add one final post?
