With her trap set up all she needed to do was bait the dragon. After all it couldn't be that hard could it? The hardest part would be not getting herself killed... The young red head her 'staff' in hand was marching with grim determination to be rid of this green menace once and for all. If she couldn't get rid of it it may try and kill her for the rest of her life or until it succeeds. Either way it needed to end soon and Tilawen wasn't about to let it be her that had her life snuff out.
With her trap in place all she needed to do was lure the dragon into it, that ysali dragon had thought it had ruined all her hard work but it didn't know about it being a clever diversion . The trap was still in place and as she snuck through the small rock crevices to hopefully gain the advantage of a surprise attack if the dragon was indeed watching her as it had in previous events. Sure enough she caught sound of it moving above her, she didn't look up it would only betray that she knew it was there. So she moved forward, it was probably trying to cut her off, or head her off at the only exit it knew about.
A smirk spread across her face the dragon was in for a surprise.
A shadow passed over her and yes she noticed it, the dragon was trying to cut her off but she was a resourceful child when it came down to it and she began to scale the walls they were high enough she couldn't get swiped by a dragons tail or a limb if it reached down, and it was narrow enough it couldn't get at her. But her small build allowed her to squeeze through and looking over she spotted the creature staring intently down the side of the cliff. Tail lashing like an over grown cat waiting for the mouse to come out of its hole.
Quietly she moved, she had anticipated the creature to be in that exact spot and so her trap was set but still so likely to mess up. Working quickly she knew the dragon would start to wonder where she went. It wouldn't take long, but moving around her trap and making sure she wouldn't be crushed by the multitudes of rocks that would hopefully rid her of the green menace.
Holding her breath she released the trigger of the trap and jumped backwards. The rocks came sliding down in a tremendous crash the dragon had spun around in a startled surprise but the rocks were already using gravity to their advantage effectively crushing the dragon under its tremendous weight.
There was the first cry of pain, anger and then once the rumbling of rocks had stopped silence. Tilawen had watched transfixed at the dragon being crushed by multitude of boulders and stones and when it was all over she was slow to approach. Quietly she moved forward, the only thing she could see of the dragon was a arm grotesquely bent in the wrong direction. A moment or two...and the body disintegrated. Sure that the dragon was dead, the girl then went about looking for her prize. A Ysali orb.
Lifting it from the rubble she stared at it, a smug smile returning to her lips as she then went to blow some of the dust off and carry her prize home.
