"Bite Your Tongue," by You Me At Six begins to play and Jacob Griffin steps out of the back, immediately demanding a microphone be brought to him as he stopped at the top of the ramp.

Griffin had lost to Pantera and he had told the world that he was going to pack it in and give some other guys the spotlight, but here he was standing at the top of the ramp and in a WWF:G World Championship Match no less. Something must be up because Jacob Griffin was throw into this match for the title and he clearly didn't deserve it.
"I told the WWF:G fans that if I didn't win the King of the Canvas tournament that I would quit WWF:G and never wrestle here again, but here I am. I lost to Pantera in the very first round and I shouldn't be here right now, but after that match something amazing happened. I was packing up and I was ready to leave when my old friend Jed walked into my locker room and convinced me to stay until after Wrestlemania. To give the fans something big. To go out with a bang! Then I get even better news from management. I have my first shot to win the BIG one and to win it a week from the BIGGEST show for WWF:G. I have a shot to walk into Wrestlemania with the WWF:G Championship wrapped around my waist. Now clearly I have to take back what I had said last week because if I am going to go out I am going out BIG. I am not going out losing to that muppet Pantera. I am going to go out as THE ONE! As YOUR WWF:G WORLD CHAMPION!"
Jacob Griffin tosses the microphone down and it makes that horrifying shrieking sound. Jacob then makes his way down the ramp, ripping off his vest as he gets to ringside and tossing it on the floor. Griffin then makes his way around the ring, climbing the steps and entering through the top and middle rope. Griffin awaited Dion Necurat in the center of the ring, shaking out his wrists and jumping up and down to warm up his legs. Griffin wanted this more then any and he was going to put everything on the line to walk out of this match and into Wrestlemania as the WWF:G World Champion.

"Ipsa autem die, surget eques proferre iustitiae et honor. IN EO CHAOS INFINITUM!" Red Wings Over Baron" began playing as the words were spoken. Once the riffs began, Dion appeared atop a white horse, an attendant following close behind, presumably to take the horse once the entrance was done. Dion raised his fist in the air, while his other hand held the reins, his signature shield attached to that arm, and the Undisputed belt slung over his shoulder. When he raised his fist, flames began to shoot out going down the ramp at a steady interval. "Making his way to the ring, from Minneapolis, MN; weighing in at 270 pounds; he is the WWFG Undisputed Champion, The Hardcore Paladin, DION NECURAT!!!" Smoke began to flow onto the ramp and ring as he made his way down the ramp. Many fans tried to reach out and pet Velknut, but to no avail. When they reached the bottom of the ramp, Dion dismounted, handing the reins to the attendant to lead the horse back up the ramp. He slid into the ring and raised his shield as if to protect himself, then lowering it to raise his other fist. He took off the shield and set it outside of the ring, then handed his hat and belt to the referee.

The bell rang to begin the match and Jacob Griffin would make his way forward. He wanted to start this match off cautiously as he knew Dion was a tough opponent and a great champion. Jacob would wait for the champion to make the first move of the evening.

Dion was not in one of his better moods, having to help run off CU after they traded blows with his WrestleMania opponents. Warming up on Griffin would be perfect.
At the bell, Dion saw Griffin go to his usual tactic of wait-and-see. So, Dion did the only sensible thing; offer a test of strength.

Griffin knew Dion was bigger and stronger, so trying a test of strength was pointless. Doing something underhanded and dirty on the other hand was right in Jacob's wheelhouse. He would walk towards Dion as if he was going for the test of strength but would go to stomp on the top of the champion's foot before throwing a heavy jab at the champ's chin.

Distracted by the stomp, Dion took a faceful of fist. He staggered a step or two before responding with a short-range, and rather stiff, clothesline.

The jab landed clean and Griffin was ready to follow up with a stiff kick, but was taken of his feet by Dion's clothesline. Jacob quickly attempted to roll away from his opponent and get to his feet before Dion could take advantage of the grounded Canadian.

Dion would run after Griffin as he began to roll, and would attempt to stomp him as he went to get up.

Griffin was on his way to his feet as a boot was planted into his side, sending him back to the mat. Griffin would roll to his back, trying to keep his eyes on his opponent as he nursed the spot that was stomped.

Dion didn't quite have Griffin on the ropes, though he was working on wearing him down early. He would step over to the top of Griffin's body, and, barring any interruptions, would attempt to put him in a surfboard submission.

Griffin attempted to fight off Dion, not wanting to put placed in a submission hold like that this early on in the match. As his opponent got close, he would attempt to jar Dion's knee with an upkick from his back.

Dion was dropped by the kick, sending him down to one knee. Now sore, he would attempt a double axe handle centered on Griffin's chest.

The distance between Dion and Griffin didn't give him enough time to react as the double axe handle nailed him in the center of his chest. The pain shooting through Griffin's entire body!

Dion would attempt to cover Griffin for a pin. He was hoping to end this early.
