Pandora had finally gotten up the guts to ask Maia about traveling. Space. The Super Senshi had terrible visions of getting sucked into an abyss, unable to breath, freezing and suffocating as she twirled ballet through hot-white stars.
What if Pandora did not have breathable air? Certainly, it could not have been the tropical blue-man rainforest of the overhyped film production. Could it? She'd have to find out.
From her spot in the old, abandoned building, Pandora's skin itched with anticipation. At her feet was a worn burlap sack (because it was inconspicuous and anyone might have one on their person). Pandora picked through the contents.
2 liters of water filled nalgenes, a small snack, a first aid kid, binoculars, pepper spray, and an extra pair of clothes. She was definitely ready for space travel.
Now, all she needed was someone to hold her hand, so to speak. Hopefully, Maia wouldn't make her wait long.

Maia walked into the abandoned building and it didn't take her long to feel the change. Pandora was stronger, there was no denying it and it gave Maia a sense of pride. Pandora was making her way in the knight life. She headed through and quickly found her walking up with a smile of her face. She didn't bring anything with her, she had been to space before, in more ways than one.
"Early as always Pandora and I see congratulations are in order. You made it to super senshi. That's amazing, but you're rather amazing, so its not entirely unexpected," she spouted grinning widely.
She was comfortable and at ease despite never having been to any planet, but her own and the surrounding, if that counted. She was a bit jaded to space travel because it seemed that it didn't really change no matter the destination. "I'm ready when you are," she said softly.

"Maia, hey!" Pandora had to hand it to the Eternal: she always seemed to be ready for anything, from answering questions to traveling to the next planet. The woman must have had a busy schedule, with a brother to train, and younger senshi to manage, but Pandora could not think of a time the other had backed out on a promise.
"I'm not," she answered back, but she was grinning. The bubbling, warmth in her chest was remarkably similar to pride.
It was hit in the gut and replaced with a tickle in the back of her neck as she summoned her phone. Those green eyes looked apprehensively towards Maia--she jumped right to the chase, didn't she?
"Do we need to be touching?" she asked as she thumbed through the phone settings and found the one for space travel.
It seemed so bizarrely simple and unreasonably illogical that Pandora felt like a child given a fake phone which in reality did nothing. Would she press the button and look like a fool?

Maia had learned the hard way to stick it out with your obligations even when the going got tough. She has left two teams, received a lot of backlash and went through a serious amount of guilt before it stuck. As an eternal, she made sure if she said she would be there than she was. Still she also learned to be accepting of mistakes, that loyalty was shown in different ways and that one person's ideals were not for everyone. She tried her best not to fault people for it and to be patient.
She gave a small laugh when Pandora said she wasn't but shook her head as if to say Pandora was wrong about that point.
She nodded and held out her hand for Pandora to take when Pandora summoned her phone, "Don't over think it. Just close your eyes and listen for your star. It's a beautiful song, or at least it is for me. The universe sings wonderfully."
Maia knew it sounded crazy, but every word she said was true. She loved the song of the universe, but it also made a lot of sense for her to because she was the senshi of song.
"Once you're ready push the button and you'll be on Pandora, as crazy as that sound. It happens just like one, two, three."

Scene straight out of an anime, Pandora took Maia's hand, closed her eyes, and began to listen.
It was no Bach. It whistled, breath against her ear. It grew loader, groaning. It screeched, tapped, fell apart. Then began again, inching its way up the scale. The ticking metronome of metal chimed in: thunk, thunkthunk, thunkthunkthunk.
It smelled of fresh mildew, Pandora's hair began to stand on end, and she poked one eye open to meet a blinding, pink sun.
The hand that had been holding Maia's pulled away to shield her eyes. Blinking, squinting, Pandora caught sight of a flash of metal.
A windmill, standing lone amongst a field of gold studded red grass, creaked as its half-corroded top turned, caught on its own body, and then broke free with a wrench. The homestead it had been attached to nestled into blood trees, most of its sides having fallen away. Long, wood planks that once supported the roof extended out from where it was enveloped in the tree. Some planks were severed, others were charred at the ends.
A branch above them swayed, briefly enveloping them in shadow and then reintroducing them to the light. In the distance, black clouds rolled with passing thunder.
Pandora wasn't sure whether to start running, exploring, or stand transfixed and wait for the moment to pass.
"Well, uh," she began, eyes scanning out past the neverending field to look for the tops of more rooves (or what must have once been rooves). "I guess we have a look?"

Maia waited her eyes open, but it seemed like she blinked and they were there. It was bright, but that hadn't been unexpected, the times of day often didn't match up and she had noticed that on Maia the day was much longer than an earth day. Maia clearly spun slower.
It was very different from her star planet and different for earth as well. "Wow its so different," she breath before looking to Pandora who had spoken.
She gave a nod, ready to go exploring, but reached out to stop Pandora, to warn her. "You might have a vision, so to speak ... of the past, uh Past Pandora. Like a memory. It's a bit weird at first, but you get use to it, so don't freak out if it happens. It doesn't always happen either."
She gave a nod and motioned for Pandora to lead the way.
