	CERTING If you've recently acquired a new Pokemon through an event or flatsale, please post here to have it certed! Your post will be crossed out when your Pokemon has been certed and dropped off in the main shop thread. If you're unsure about what ability your Pokemon could have, check out Bulbapedia. If you want to use your Pokémon's hidden ability, roll one 12-sided die with your post. If you roll a 1 or a 12, your Pokémon will be certed with its hidden ability. Make sure to include your preferred normal ability in the form as a backup in case your roll is unsuccessful. (Don't delete a post in here for any reason. If you you roll unsuccessfully and delete your post to cheat and try again, we will find out, and it will not end well.) Note: The hidden ability roll is only applicable to Pokémon for which you are asked to post certing information in this thread. If you don't have the link to the Pokemon you won, simply list what it was; normal Shuppet, dark Beldum, shiny Munchlax, etc. On certing info for event Pokémon: If more than a week passes since your prize was announced, your Pokémon may be certed and dropped off with standard information (species for name, male, random ability). You can have your Pokémon renamed and regendered by posting in the Cert Changes thread, but you'll lose your opportunity to roll for a hidden ability! If you're having trouble thinking of a name, make sure to let someone in staff know so this doesn't happen. Note: Some Pokémon species are limited to a certain gender. Pokémon of these species will be certed as their appropriate genders by default even if you request a different gender in your form. For a list of which Pokémon are restricted to which genders, see the following: Female: Flabébé, Floette, Florges Male: Sawk, Rufflet, Braviary N/A: Voltorb, Electrode, Ditto, Porygon, Porygon2, Porygon-Z, Beldum, Metang, Metagross, Rotom, Carbink, all legendaries [size=14][b]Cert please![/b][/size] [size=11][color=dimgray][b]Pokemon:[/b] (link please, if it has one) [b]Name:[/b] (The pokemon's name!) Note that these are NOT attacks or moves the Pokemon learns!)[/color][/size] FAQ Q: So if I win a Pokemon, I post it here? A: Yep! If you won it in an event, a game, flatsale, auction, raffle, etc., you post it here for certing. Q: What about if I'm getting a custom Pokemon? A: Since certing info is included on the custom form, your colorist already has all of that info, so nope! Posting that again here would be unnecessary. Q: What if there's an error on my cert? What if I'm giving away a Pokemon to a friend of mine? Do I post that here? A: Nope! All cert corrections and certing to new owners should be posted in the Cert Changes thread. Q: Why are all the tops of the forms different colors? Do I make mine a certain color? A: The tops of the forms are left colorless in the code because once a form is posted, BFK goes through and changes the top of each form to be the staff color of whichever staff is responsible for it. So please, unless you know which staff member is doing your pokemon, please don't add a color. Q: Are the genders completely rigid, or can I refer to my Lugia as 'he' or my Sawk as 'she'? A: The certed genders are only the Pokémon's biological sex, and their mental gender can differ if desired. For example, if your Jirachi feels feminine, it can adopt feminine pronouns. (Please be mindful and considerate with this; gender identity is not something that should be played for laughs!)
