Just one more little venture into the forest he thought to himself, one last walk, this time with the beautiful little Abellio. He wanted to allow the little one to see the forest that he was found in after all, especially if the one his mother sent the letter out to go back to them soon. The question was, would the man be coming here or would they be going to wherever the man was located? He really couldn't say, all he knew was his mother had sent off two letters yesterday, one of a Dovaa that she knew who had been her teacher in the past and the second one went to Burrom and Tilawen. He wondered if they would get the letter and what might happen if they did. Would they come back? He hoped so, it had been a while ago since he'd seen her last and he wanted to see her again, especially now that Abellio had hatched.

Looking down at the little Keinling he told him, "I hope that you get to meet my friend, Tilawen soon. She is really nice though really, really quiet." He told the little one who was running from tree to tree, chasing bugs, and otherwise seeming as though he were enjoying himself. Junjie gave a little chuckle, "Come on, Abellio, don't get too far ahead!" He called after the little one as he spotted a fluttering insect and started after it, jaws snapping from time to time, obviously trying to get a hold of it to eat. The little one ate more then Junjie had fathomed that he would. It had put Junjie to work, keeping him quite busy, so that the little one would be full. The boy suddenly felt a wave of fear through the bond that he shared with Abellio, something that caused him to freeze in place for a moment before he rushed forward after the little Keinling, "Abellio! Where are you? What's wrong?" He cried out as he rushed forward to find the frightened Keinling... and when he did he gave a gasping sound. It seemed as though the little one had stumbled across a Ysali.

"Abellio..." He gasped out before he rushed forward, not hesitating for even a moment, lunging forward to wrap his arms around the little one, caught hold of him, and rolled along with the Keinling in his hold, "Ahh..." Looking up at the dragon he glanced around a moment then spotted a good place for Abellio to hide, "Abellio, listen to me. Go under that tree!" He said, pointing at a large tree with thick, strong roots that the Keinling would easily be able to get under, something that the Ysali wouldn't be able to get himself under. The baby would be safe there. Once he was sure that the Keinling was obeying his words he rushed forward to grab up his fallen walking stick, the new one he'd obtained to replace the last one a dragon had broken on him. He lifted it up to point it at Ysali, able to pull it out of the way when the dragon snapped at it so that he could take a swing at the side of the beast's head, cracking it good.

It was first of many blows that he rained down upon the dragon with the heavy stick, intent upon beating it back, protecting Abellio who didn't know better about dragons, and if he was lucky chase the beast off. It wasn't having it though, instead forcing the battle to go from Junjie defending Abellio to Junjie having to defeat the thing instead. It was another long, exhausting battle, the sort that left the boy quite drained by the end, and he ended up having to plop down on his backside as the creature started to crumble away, leaving behind just a skeleton and a green orb, "Phew... that was... intense." He murmured, then looked over at where he'd told Abellio go. It didn't take all that long before the Keinling slipped out from under the tree, looking around the small clearing, over to the skeleton, to the exhausted Junjie. Giving a crooning sound Abellio rushed over to him, jumping into his lap, nuzzling against him.

Giving a soft chuckle he wrapped his arms around the Keinling, nuzzling against him, then let his eyes sink closed, "I am glad that you are alright, Abellio." He murmured, hugging him tight, glad that he was alright, "Next time you need to stick closer to me, alright?" He told him in a slightly scolding tone before he pushed to his feet, "Come on, let's get our orb then we will head for home." He told the Keinling.

As if wanting to help out and to make up for having caused the battle Abellio hurried over to where the glittering orb was laying, catching hold of it in his jaws, before trotting over to Junjie and dropped it at his feet. Lifting his head up, starring up at him, tail swishing. It was a look that Junjie seemed to be unable to resist, instead giving a smile before patting him on the head, "Alright, alright. I am not mad, I was just worried." He told him, reaching down to scoop up the orb, "Shall we head home then? Maybe if we are quick about getting clean up then Mom won't know about the fact that we got in a scuffle with a dragon." He told Abellio before the two of them were hurrying for home.
