"Is it lovely to get out of our room sometimes, is it not?" Needle inquired, her flat voice hinting at innocence. It had taken her a little while to goad her sister into coming outside again, and even more to attempt an empty room after classroom hours; yet, thankfully, she won yet again. The Engraver was fearing the day she didn't, but hoped that day would never come.

"It is nice and relaxing~" She went on to murmur, pulling out a canvas short enough for her to kneel on the floor and paint comfortably, and setting to organize her various inks and brushes in case she needed them. There was only a few beats of silence before the very, very subtle Needle got right down to business with a very curious comment:

"I have noticed Petro visits more often." Okay, so it wasn't really a question, but it was certainly accented to be one. She was trying to goad poor Lattice into telling her a little more about their situation, or perhaps to at least tease her for having a boil over so often, but at the very least she was looking for happy gossip to bring back to her own boilfriend, Muka.

As long as Needle continued to give convincing arguments then it was likely that Lattice was going to bow down to the other ghoul's logic time and time again. She trusted her Twin to not steer her wrong and so far Needle had never proven to be untrustworthy. Small spats not withstanding. "It is. I sometimes forget there is a world outside of class and the room."

Lattice was settling in to do her own art as well and yet one question got her to nearly drop the canvas she'd gotten for herself. A blush crept over her face as her hands gripped the edges of the canvas with shaken determination, "I..I guess. I would hope so since we are bond...bonded..." She murmured softly her hand was offered over toward her twin showing a tattooed ring about her left ring finger. The situation still riled a bit of her fears and insecurities, but she wasn't ashamed of being bonded to Petro and she wasn't going to hide this fact from her Twin either. Needle deserved to know what went on in her life.

A break was all she deemed necessary for the day. Scrap homework, ignore looming projects--personal and non--and just work on something... fun. Simple. Easy. And as time-consuming as possible because she really didn't want to go back to her responsibilities. The final option had been to snatch up a few blank pages of parchment and a canvas, and march on over to one of the art rooms. Her dorm was feeling particularly stuffy, and she hoped the change of scenery would help her unwind a little.

Maybe finally get some of those scenery ideas out onto paper, hm....

The ink dragon hummed with delight as she pulled open the door, leaning her weight against it to maneuver her supplies in through the opening without also squishing her wings or tail. It was probably a good thing she'd intentionally left some of her brushes back in the dorm, only intending to use her claws and fingers for this project. Lugging around more things would have been annoying-- "Ah-..." Violet eyes caught on the two other figures in the room, tail flicking and scraping against the ground once or twice in unease. "Sorry... am I interrupting something..?" There were only two--so similar.... twins?--but she thought there wasn't a class going on any time soon...

Her nose twitched, gaze honing in on their skin. Head cocked. Markings..? What was she seeing... Bare feet clicked with claws as she took a small step further into the room. She could plainly see the spikes coming from their arms, but one in a blue dress with her arms fully exposed had Agsil's full attention for the moment. A slow grin spread across her face, realizing what she was seeing. Tattoos. And... wow. Lots of them. She'd heard of such things, of course--what sort of ink dragon would she be else-wise?--but to see them was a bit different. Hard to tattoo on ink covered scales, after all... "Oh my... I... am sorry if this is rude, but allow me to complement your tattoos along your arms, miss. They are exquisite." Her eyes quickly jumped to the other, searching to see if her flesh also bore the ink art. Now what oh what did she just walk into~?

The glowing mark around Lattice's finger said it all.

"You and Petro have---" The surprise drained from her voice as the door opened, causing her to turn and look at the sudden intruder. The first thing she noticed was the most obvious: the telling glow of ink. Normally that was enough to get her metaphorical blood pumping, but in this instance it was enough to confuse her. The ink she saw wasn't concentrated in any particular design, but seemed...well, like a part of the ghoul herself.

"...Not at all!" Needle stammered out quickly, scrambling to her feet to stand and stare at the glowing newcomer. In the back of her mind she knew she was being complemented, but it didn't seem important to her. This creature, this lovely ghoul...was almost pure ink! The Engraver was in complete awe, never having seen anything like her before. "Thank you, I did them myself~ Though a few were done by my Sister~" She sounded dismissive of the subject at hand and she mostly was. In fact, she was closing the distance between herself and the Dragoness, an ink stained hand reaching out as if to touch one of the ink stained wings.

"You are exquisite! All of this ink! Are you affiliated with it? Or did you have a spill?" A part of her had to ask; she felt she knew the answer, but it was almost too good to be true. Needle loved being able to actually see someone without her mask, and this ghoul was clear as day; even if she had just rolled around in ink, the Engraver would could it as a happy day.

Lattice's faux blush grew to cover most of her face and parts of her neck. She couldn't help it and it just got redder the moment someone stepped in on their conversation, Lattice wasn't sure if she should feel relieved or even more worried over the fact that there was someone new here.

What if they knew the Elders? What if they tattled? What if. What if. What if.

As her mind busily chased itself in circles she stared over at her Twin and this new individual with a sort of momentary look of a deer caught within the glowing lights of carnivorous will-o-wisps. It took a full few moments for Lattice to realize that she could see so much ink. Glorious. Beauiful ink. Lattice was suddenly on the other side of the poor ghoul quietly reaching to touch a shoulder, "You're so beautiful," her voice tinged with awe as well as jealousy rather than her usual monotone.

Lattice's emotions galloped away with her into the sunset. Quite possibly on abs.
