Did Lucky know just what exactly it meant, to have Solia knowing about his existence? Maybe, as she had begun to deliver lucky charms and various objects of luck to his room every so often. Just because she could. Today however, she thought he should come out of his room. Because while it was nice to safe in one's room, sunlight was good for you. Lucky had not yet fully understood the significance of the cereal offerings, or the small horseshoes, or the pile of three-leaf clovers that had an extra leaf carefully but awkwardly superglued on. In fact, he was starting to get slightly worried about how reliable the lock on his door was. Solia just wanted to share in the luck. And kind of just have fun passing the time. Because in her book, Lucky was a pretty cool guy, (his hair was green and he was an O buddy, all the reason she needed).
At winner picks movie, she squealed, hoping that she could pick something about leprechauns of something they would that right?
Elf eyes, or rather, her hyper excited gaze did catch the coat of one life trainee.

Not to be outdone, Song pushed her hunter to introduce her.
To Solia's insides.
Fortunately it was all pretty blood-free, though it only seemed to make the wendigo more eager for another strike.

Note to self.
Saw blades were not toys.
They were made of saws and blades and Israfel was pretty sure had she not had him, she would be screaming a lot more than she was.
But she was screaming.
Mostly because she didn't expect SUDDENLY WEAPON.
"HOW DID YOU EVEN-"
A look of pure awe and shock came over her.
It really had been a lucky shot.

"Eeh," he admitted somewhat guiltily, "Practice?"
Yes. Practice drawing a saw out of thin air in case an executioner came knocking at his door, or just skipping the formalities and kicking it in. He had no idea how Solia had slept at night during that little chapter of their lives.
At least she was one of the few who wouldn't give him an odd look over the blackened, circular burn on the back of his hand.
Solia had assumed a more defensive position this time, and he wasn't nearly as striking with his next strike.

Solia slept at night because she had a very nice set of pillows, tea, and a healthy amount of thinking that they wouldn't kill her when they could use her as cannon fodder. Either way, she'd be useful to the hunters in the end.
She would sleep soundly, dreaming of when she'd next be able to go off island, catch up on homestuck, ready what was on tumblr, and maybe download way to many TV shows to be good for her.
Lucky she thought, might like homestuck.
She'd explain it to him later.
"Well you're really good!" Israfel just chirped in her head, wondering if maybe he used that charm cereal that morning.
Solia had a bowl herself, shooting at the life trainee with a smile.

Boy that was a lot of arrows.
Lucky tried to whirl around quickly, using the length of Song's blade to fight more efficiently from a distance. Even after all this time he was largely out of practice with the blade, and hadn't quite figured out whether to treat her like a sword or an axe in combat, since there was no existing technique he could imagine for such an odd sort of weapon. It mainly came down to whichever seemed more natural in a moment of panic.

It was okay, because he still hit, and she still hurt.
Well, Israfel hurt with the whole FEAR shield thing but point was Lucky got lucky with his hits and hits could hurt if she wasn't careful, (and she wasn't).
"So I saw that you were in life- shouldn't a bone saw be more effective on the dead?"
She was trying to make a joke.
Trying.
Sort of like trying to hit him with the bladed feathers at the end.

Solia grinned, pleased he seemed to pick up on her joke. The sudden change in the weapon got her attention.
"OH s**t. Things just got real didn't they uh- Isra do your thing!"
No magical glow, no song but the single note like that of a singer, inhuman yet still a note all the same, organic.
She just got the usual arrow.
"It's okay Isra, you tried, and thats all that really matters."

This time, the blade cleaved even more powerfully than usual, and made his next slash even worse with the sharp sting of cold winds slashing at his opponent.
"Vhat does he - er, she? - it? - do?" Lucky asked, not entirely sure what Israfel was.

The blade came down- neither Solia nor Israfel ready for the impact. "OH MON DIEU CE! QU'EST-CE QUE MEME LA BAISE?"
She didn't expect the hit, worse the cold. Stumbling back on heels, she shook it off. "Pardon! I did not mean to curse ah- You are very sneaky Lucky! A lucky sneak."
Drawing back with her bow she took aim- "And technically, he is also a she! But he is easy for others to understand so Israfel is called a him! Either or works. As for what he does-" The sudden clash came from the weapon- the sound of instruments and vocals- of impact as the arrow and bow came out with a bang.
"He does that!"

Any attack would have looked (and felt, owww) pretty pitiful in comparison to that.
But Lucky really went above and beyond with the pitiful.
