[1v1] Icy Hot (Jericho and Frost)

A random encounter, a casual conversation, they decided they could use a spar. The dragon didn't remember Frost, though, they had only met in passing. now, it was just a matter of properly becoming acquaintances. What better way than a fight?

Non, the gym, Frost sat on a section of grassy field, waiting for the dragon to show up.

Jericho needed to work on his combat capabilities. Or to at least see what he could do. So when the opportunity came up, he accepted. He just hoped he wouldn't end up making a fool of himself.

"Alright. I'm here. Ah... ready?"

Ears swiveling along with his head, Frost smiled lightly at the dragon, bowing. "We can battle in our natural forms if you like, or, as we are now. For me it makes little difference. The only change being that we must use different skill sets."

Jericho thought that over for a moment. He needed some more experience in both forms really. For now though, he decided to stick to his humanoid state. Maybe the next time, they could duke it out all natural form like and whatnot.

"Alright. Let's do this," he grinned while cracking his knuckles and getting into position.

Just for the hell of it, he let out a roar before charging head on towards Frost, aiming to practically tackle the guy.

Jericho had one thing on Frost no matter what form. Size. Frost was nimble, not so much strong, his strength in speed over damage. Grunting as he fell back, the ghost clawed at the dragon, growling.

"Been awhile since I had a good challenge. Better not hold back."

And in Jericho's case, he definitely had a fair amount of strength on his hands. Getting up after he had charged Frost down, he snarled as he received the brunt of his claws raking against him.

"Yeah? This will be good for both of us then," he grinned.

He clenched his claws tightly into fists, then went in with a one-two combo.

Attempting to block with his arms wasn't going to do him much good, Frost was on the ground, Jericho was not. He needed to change his tactics if he hoped to come out on top. Rolling to get out of the way and kicking to stun, Frost scrambled to get back up on his feet and level the playing field.

"Been awhile since you had a good test of your skills?"

"You could say that. I'm uh...kinda rusty," he admitted. That was one way of putting it in the least. Jericho tried to keep on the pressure, but was kicked back by his opponent. Shaking his head, he came charging right back for Frost.

Rather than tackling, he just tried to punch him in the face.

Clutching his nose as red blood rolled down, a quick wipe to the back of his hand, Frost grinned past the pain. "Well, your hits are anything but." A shake of his head, Frost tried to rid himself of the daze from the hit.

"I consider that a good sign!"

Feeling a boost of confidence, Jericho went on and attempted to land in another heavy hit. Or tried to at least.

Managing to avoid the tackle, Frost grinned, tail flicking as he flexed his claws. Going for a slash and missing. "Maybe I'm the rusty one."

"Ah you're doing alright," Jericho offered with a shrug. Then, he stretched his wings suddenly, maybe to try and look imposing. Or maybe as a distraction. He wasn't really sure himself. But he went in to try and kick the ghost.

The kick landed, knocking the wind from his lungs. Need of breath or not, it was still jarring. "Ha, well, I can always stand to improve yes?" Kicking out, Frost's tail puffed out, bits of snow falling to the floor.

"True enough!"

Jericho stumbled back as the kick knocked him a little off balance. He ended up using his wings to try and help him stay on his feet. And after doing this, he went ahead and tried to bat the wolf with them.

One things Frost never expected were wings to be used as weapons. The attack caught him off guard, eyes shutting at the clipped him and sent him down to try and avoid them. Spinning with a kick, he resumed his stance.
