Walking in the halls like she owned them, Solia was opening and closing every door she could find. Why? Because she could. The last door had a unicorn..but it was eating what looked like human remains so she left that door closed. Walking around to the next door, she didn't spy a pony, but Israfel was suddenly telling her to leave immediately. "Hi!" Because it was always polite to say hi to strange creatures from another world.

Mengyao loathed the Haunted House for this exact reason - there were creatures such as the ones he now found himself staring at, humans with arrogant faces and weapons of destruction. He had not intended to run into anyone while here, but it seemed that it was unavoidable.
His lip curled.
"Do not speak to me so familiarly, human. I have no desire to communicate with one of your kind."

...... Israfel was begging here to leave. He was even using his whine voice. The whine set Solia off to the whole 'this is bad' mode. "Uhhhhh." She lifted her bow in a small attempt to be threatening. "It's all good, I'll just be heading out."

It was an accident. The bowstring brought back out of habit. The arrow flew before she knew it, and she stared at its trajectory. "s**t I didn't mean that." HP: 50 Dmg: 11

The scowl on Mengyao's face was reaching the point where it was almost thunderous. Dual colored eyes swept over the hunter's face, and Mengyao made a soft noise of disgust in his throat as he summoned his own bow, though he had the distinct feeling it would be rather useless right now.

Note to self. Listen to Israfel more. The bird managed the identification of horseman, and that fleeing was a good option right about now. "Hey!" Not you know. "I am NOT a liar thank you very much, that was an accident." Antagonize him. Solia shot at him this time. "That was on purpose!" HP: 48 Dmg

A slow smirk crawled across Mengyao's face, one eyebrow raising, the grey on his face smeared across his otherwise pale skin.

He fired an arrow towards her.

She was not a new hunter, but she was not an experienced one either. Mengyao pulled another arrow back, his fingers tightening around the wire of the bow as he took aim.

It caught her shin and Solia hissed through her teeth and the sudden sting. Well, ripped jeans were in right? "Brony." She explained. "Is a dude who likes ponies." She grinned. The hunter's comments made him stop momentarily, Mengyao staring incredulously at her, as though he could not quite believe what he was hearing - and perhaps he couldn't, maybe this was all just another hallucination thanks to the Insanity ringing in his ears.
"Making jokes now, are we? Feeling the need to compensate for something?"

Solia was female, such a joke was bad. Plus stalling for what? Who? It's not like anyone was going to come, more like she should flee. Right now. He swayed a little, the force of her attacks making him slightly dizzy. Not to mention her comments were undoubtedly pathetic attempts at sounding better than she actually was, and Mengyao's brow furrowed in bemusement and irritation.
"You are not a stallion, you're a child."
Clearly the pun had gone right over Mengyao's head.

A snort, she was a bit sad he missed that one, (Israfel however, was very happy). "Yeah, colt me some slack here, you guys are one tough crowd. It might behoof you to take a joke once in a while brony." Internal head hitting palm, Israfel had reached the point of begging. This was not what he'd signed up for. Backing away, Solia tripped on a broken chair, cursing to herself before flinging a small chunk of wood at him. HP: 35 DMG: 1

Mengyao was getting more and more frustrated. He batted away the wood with one arm and scowled heavily, his brows drawing together in frustration.
"You are entirely too confident in yourself," he snapped, and fired off several more arrows.
