Melvin set up the supplies he needed, opened up a fresh binder with the appropriate forms, and then sent the text to Wilson. He had selected the day to either set a day for him, or start today. The main point was to sound official and important. Syusaki Text to: Wilson Please Report to lab 3b for Official Artifact testing. Do not forget your artifact.

Should it really have surprised anyone that when Wilson received the text that he was hanging upside from his bed while fiddling with his Rubiks cube? He tilted his head to the side at the mention of artifact. Did…Melvin mean the necklace twisted around his wrist like a bracelet? Or did he mean the other one? The one he still…didn’t really know much about. He rolled off the bed anyways and reached for his jacket.
“Were you waiting long?” he called out as he popped his head into the lab and smiled.

Melvin was in the middle of feeding a minipet when Wilson came in and slowly shut the tank when he poked his head in. "No. Not long at all. I sort of expect hunters to be a prompt for more official missions. I'm glad you showed up around the right time."
Gesturing to a seat, he sat down and opened a binder. "Did you bring your artifact? If so, we can begin."

“You mean the one that I got after I went into that weird coma, right?” he confirmed, but he summoned his weapon anyways. Everything appeared normal at first. Wilson remained silent for a moment before suddenly realizing something. “Oh, that’s right. Could you wait a moment?”
He pulled down his mask and stepped back until he was a safe distance away and shot at the ground, cloaking himself in a cloud of poisonous gas. Then the hunter took a deep breath. “You know, I keep forgetting I have this…”
