After her failure with the drakein before she had felt foolish, after all what had she hoped to do once she had found it? Bore it to death? She had no weapons besides a steak she had picked up and used for walking and now she had wished that perhaps she hadn't bothered to try. The young girl wasn't exactly brimming with self confidence and her father didn't help matters in that area. In fact Burrom hadn't said a word to her since she had come back all bloody and bruised, he didn't even inquire how she had received the cuts. In fact if it hadn't been for the other drakein she could of died alone and probably eaten.

The other drakein had been dark purple...with bright greens, he had introduced himself as D and she was very surprised by his..gesture. After all why should he help her?

Sighing she walked along the forest her walking stick with her once again, trying to build up more muscle so she wouldn't lag behind her father when they would leave and most likely travel to another foreign place. Her thoughts were still a whir, thinking about Junjie and D and how strange they had all been towards her. Both were too chatty and both didn't have any sense of personal space.

Tilawen stopped...she could of sworn she had heard something crouching she somewhat crawled forward to look through the bushes, her eyes widening when she spotted a drakein. Perhaps this was her chance to make up for her follies from before...

Pushing through a couple branches into what Rio had considered a well hidden clearing, the young hybrid sighed. Lanzecki had remained behind sleeping. He was still very small and sleep encompassed most of his life so far. His head rested gently on a small sack, small soft snores let Erionda know he was still deep in sleep, he hadn't had time to wake up and notice she was missing. Dusting some of the remaining debris from her fight off her green shirt with one hand, carefully balancing her first orb in her other. The orb's were much bigger than she had first assumed they would be. Thrown off by the tiny replica of an Askala orb on her belt.

Nearing the sleeping Keinling, Erionda lowered herself to her knees. Carefully scooping up the grey head into her hands and slowly shifting the sack out from under Lanzecki's head. Wiggling closer the hybrid replaced the sack with her leg and lowered the small head back down. Pale violet eyes glanced up as Uassae entered into the clearing through a small opening.

The large Drakein sniffed around the border taking note something seemed out of place. There was an unfamiliar scent nearby. Brushing the unfamiliarity off as part of their unknown world Uassae sneezed his muzzle shaking as the rest of his body rippled in a wave. His wings relaxed as she moved towards Rio. Sniffing the orb casually, opening a wing to create a small canopy over his tiny charge. Moving around behind her to give her something to lean against. His body and tail creating a small nest like bed for her and Lanzecki to safely relax under. "You have done well. Aquon should be proud you succeeded."

"He wont be happy unless I find another one though Uassae." Erionda muttered pressing the orb into the sack. Tilting her head to the side in thought. Uassae didn't often speak out loud, most of their conversation was though a silent bond they shared. "How long do you think before we can set out to find another?"

"Relax first." The large Drakein cooed.

Tilawen had assumed that the forest was just full of ferals, though since her meeting with the firani drakein she had also learned not all of them would be out to eat her. So how to approach, strike first and ask questions later? She was tired of being attacked first and having to flee for her life. Some may see those incidents as life lessons but in her mind they were defeats and only proved how...she was unready for the world. The young girl didn't want to die, in fact every part of her wanted to survive and she was determined to make sure that happened.

Still even as she hardened herself wanting to launch a sneak attack on the drakein before her she heard other voices and found herself stilled. Bonded drakein were new to her, though she knew they existed she hadn't never been close to anyone with a bonded to really know what to make of them. Shifting slightly she winced as she stepped on a branch hoping that the dragons didn't hear her. She wasn't sure on what to do now...should she just leave? She didn't know how to approach people..and seeing that the girl now in view looked like a dovaa and she knwe ho full bloods felt about half breeds.

"I trust you Uassae, but I'm scared of Aquon and Ytauya." Shifting so she could pet the large Drakeins head. Her body aching from her movements. Each shift of muscle sent a ribbon of pain towards her spine. Lanzecki bubbled in her lap shifting his head about before returning to his sleeping state. The sound of her companions heart beats mixed with her own and the sounds of the wind in the leaves. It was like a lulling sensation, as if the world around her insisted on rocking her to sleep.

Erionda's hand began to relax when the sound of a twig snapping sent a fresh wave of adrenaline through her body. Snapping to attention the same time Lanzecki's soft snoring stopped and Uassae's head turned. Erionda swallowed hard against the fear rising in her chest. Had one of the beastly dragons followed her here? Tracked her and Uassae to their small hiding place? Lanzecki creeled pitifully as he struggled hungrily to his feet. Stumbling forward away from Erionda in search of her bag.

Pushing herself to her feet cautiously watching her Keinling Erionda continued to listen to the world around her. Mentally taking note of Uassae as he moved silently away from where the three had been curled up ready to relax. Stealing glances in the direction of the sound Erionda shifted upright as Uassae's words filtered into her mind.

Just a girl. But... Darker. She's not like you

Erionda squared her shoulders in the direction tilting her head in a friendly manner. Ignoring Lanzecki's insistence at the palm of her hand. "We wont hurt you unless you plan to attack. If you would like company feel free to join us." Erionda bit her tongue against mentioning Uassae's position behind the girl incase it sent them into a real threat.

Tilawen flinched as the girls voiced called out to her, and here she had been hoping she could slip away unnoticed. Giving a quiet sigh she straightened up her hands still clenching the wooden 'staff' in her hands tightly as she made herself visible. Her gaze skimming over the young girl and then to the two drakein. Granted one of them was a lot younger than the other she felt herself chilled to the bone. After all she hunted time and time again by a particular Ysali dragon and she couldn't help but recall those sharp claws as well teeth always trying to get her.

Her glowing green eyes locked with the young girl as if challenging her, after all most people who saw her instantly tried to kill her why should this time be any different? Twisting the staff in her hand she prepared herself to fight if need be, striking the butt of the staff against the ground in a powerful manner even though it almost caused her to drop the thing. Feeling foolish her face blushing slightly she tucked loose strands of red hair behind an ear before giving her a small nod of her head. She wasn't really one for words...

Erionda blinked as Tilawen emerged from the tree's. This wasn't one of the Orderites who lived near by. Nor was this possibly a Dovaa. Hybrid maybe? Like her? Pale violet eyes searched the girls face, taking in as much information as she could. Her eyes were strange, like floating lights in the blackness. Her skin betrayed Oblivionite lines. Opposite of herself, this girl seemed to scream Hybrid. Erionda felt sad, she had at least been able to slip by as Dovaa most of the time not the Hybrid she was.

Eyes followed and marked each movement Tilawen made, finding her eyes pulling up once again to lock with Tilawens. Was she scared? Challenging her? Demanding something? Maybe she felt the same about her as Erionda did towards the new girl? Rolling one shoulder to test the girls reactions, while keeping her eyes locked with Tilawen.

Fingers flexed uncomfortably as time passed, to slowly for Erionda's comfort. Finding relief as the girl made a movement, one that wasn't hostile. There, proof she hadn't come to kill her, or hunt her. "Are you alright?" Erionda asked. Extending one of her hands outward palm up to show she meant no harm. Mentally telling Uassae to relax and step back.

The dark skinned girl glanced from the hybrid before her to the dragons around them, she still felt uncomfortable but at least she didn't feel like her life was in danger though she did stare at the young girls hand questioningly. Not sure of what she wanted she only stood there before finally taking a moment to think over the words the girl asked of her.

"Are...they feral?" Was her first question as her encounter's with drakein had been one stalker out to kill her and then two that liked playing games with her. The idea they were bonded never crossed her mind, granted she had never met anyone who had bonded dragons before this point. Twisting her staff in her hand again she looked to the girl before her.

"you...Dovaa?" She inquired as the girl looked...pretty much like one.
PostPosted: Tue May 14, 2013 8:12 pm

“Feral?” Erionda repeated. Her eyes shifting in thought before she settled on who the other had been referring to. Feeling silly for her outstretched hand Erionda pulled her hand back. Attaching it to her hip. “Oh! You mean Lanzecki, and Uassae? The Drakein?” Erionda paused to giggle. “Goddess no, they are both my bonded companions.” Shifting deeping into the clearing to allow Uassae entrance past Tilawen and herself.

“Feel free to join in the seclusion. Dragons and Orderites won't find us easily here.”

Scratching the back of her head, Erionda turned to the side. Puzzled how the girl had managed to find her in the first place. Yawning to the thought’s in her head, Erionda felt a shiver at the question of her race. Reaching up to twirl a pink chunk of her bangs around her fingers nervously. She felt it hard to answer such a question each time it was brought up. Many had considered her a pure Dovaa who just happened to be facinated with Dying her hair ‘unnatural’ colors. The more observant could pick out she wasn’t a pure blood. Based on her hair and the location she lived.

“No, I have a small portion of Orderite in me.” Erionda replied solemnly. Letting her fingers drop from her hair. “How much of you is Oblivionite?” Rio continued keeping her eyes diverted from the dark girl. Unsure of how to approach the difference of what Erionda assumed as a cultural difference.

Though it would seen rude of her not to take the girls hand it was actually just such an odd gesture to have someone do towards herself that ...Tilawen didn't know how to react to it. She also suppose a strange question would get a strange answer, but the young girl ...looked so much like a dovaa...so much like Junjie was...that...she was jealous. Those two could easily blend into society if they so chose.

At the returned question she hung her head slightly, she wasn't entirely sure...she had never met her mother and her father never spoke of her. Shifting on the spot it took her a few long moments before she replied.

"I...don't know...maybe...half?" She replied which was actually true. Her mother being full oblivionite and her father full dovaa. But she had gotten her hollow eyes and dark skin from her mother she would assume...and her fathers green eyes, red hair and horns? Though her horns seemed...contorted as if ...the oblivionite had tried to twist them into something dark.

Playing with her own hair, she felt her heart hammering in her chest as she tried to figure out what else to do. She was so awkward with meeting people...as often she expected hostility instead of friendliness.

"Half isn't so bad." Erionda slowly moved to sit. Her eyes watching the strange orbs floating in Til's eye sockets. "I am only a quarter Orderite."

Lanzecki shifted onto his feet to get a better look at the strange Hybrid before them. His nostrils flared with each inhaling sniff. Cautiously he moved forward. One step then another. Pausing to look back at Erionda for reassurance before making another partial step forward. His eyes focused on Tilawen as he moved. Keeping his head lowered below his shoulder blades. Tail draggon on the ground behind him, wings vibrated with adrenaline. Erionda watched on in silence, unsure of just what what going to happen.

Light blue eyes of Uassae flicked about. Paying close attention to the Hybrid Oblivionite while appearing relaxed. "His name is Lanzecki." Uassae offered, blinking and shifting to cross one paw over the other. Erionda looked quizzically up at the large Drakein but said nothing. Lanzecki was free to learn and explore however he wanted. Just because they were bonded didn't mean she controlled the Drakein in her life, They were free to do whatever they pleased. They were just very strong within a bonded group. Both emotionally and mentally. She had grown to rely on them like family. The only beings who seemed to really care about her.

Tilawen's gaze was torn from Eironda as the smaller Drakien was now approaching her, locking her gaze upon it as it moved getting closer. Her body was stiff, she wasn't sure what its intent was and she wasn't good at reading posture from Drakien so for all she knew it may try and attack her. It certainly didn't look 'happy' with its tail on the ground and head lowered.

"You look...like dovaa. I am....jealous." Came Tilawen's response slowly as se debated taking a step back or putting her staff in front of her body just in case the little one decided to lunge. Her green eyes only glancing away when the much bigger one spoke. So it was giving her a name? Was that suppose to make her feel more comfortable?

"What...is he....doing?" The young girl finally asked her attention dragged back to Lanzecki.
PostPosted: Mon May 20, 2013 11:09 am

Erionda blushed nervously. "W-well. I wouldn't be envious of me. There are other hybrids out there who look far more Dovaa than I do. With much less of the blood in them, than I have." Tugging at the strands in her hair watching Tilawen cautiously.

The hybrids question caught her off guard. Didn't everyone know what Drakein posture was like at this point? It took a while to remember that Drakein were still very new to Magescian's and though Erionda had grown up around them. Others may not have even seen them before. Giving a soft chuckle, Erionda offered Tilawen a soft smile. "He's trying to see if you're a friend. Probably just wants you to pet him. He's funny that way, just give him a light scratch on the head like this." Erionda reached up to give Tilawen proper instructions visually.

Uassae hummed with pleasure. "Most bonded Drakein I know really like it."

Lanzecki took the eye contact as a good sign lifting his head slightly, and taking a few more steps forward till he was barely a foot or two from Tilawen. Giving a soft croon he shifted his body to the side. Keeping his head turned towards her.

Considering how Tilawen looked she seemed more oblivionite than she did dovaa, though ..perhaps if her skin wasn't so dark she could pass for a dovaa as well. Looking down at her hands she felt self conscious all of a sudden and hid them back within the folds of her sleeves. Still she felt uncomfortable all the time and having the keindred looking at her like it wanted to be friends only made her feel really out of place. No one wanted to be friends with the likes of her.

Her glance looked back to Erionda and watched how she indicated the little drakien wanted to be scratched. Shaking her head lightly as she took a step back away from Lanzecki. "I am not...worth being friends with..." She stated as if it was plain fact. After all why would anyone want to be friends with her? Her self esteem was non-existent and it plainly showed how she felt like she didn't belong in her own skin. Probably due to how her father raised her and labeling her as a 'mistake'.
