Wrathful Shapeshifter

Naanash frowned, trying to ignore his twin's non subtle hints of boredom as he examined a bunch of tubers for dinner. Do not give him attention, he can wait. Wait. If he sighs and rolls his eyes at me one more time. Naanash gave up, passing the vegetables to the shop keep for purchase and grumbled "Stop that," at his twin as he fished a eight mark from his belt pouch.

"I'm bored."

"You are the one who wanted to come." Naanash traded the coin and set the starch in with the rest of his vegetables. "I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner and all you are doing is irritating me." He set off in the market heading towards the butcher stalls to purchase maybe lamb or beef. He hadn't decided yet.

"I thought we would do some exploring, not food shopping." Vaail replied, keeping in step with his brother and broke into a jaunty if lewd whistling tune to express his boredom at the mundane shopping spree. "You are such a housewife."

"Who is going to refuse to feed you. Beg for your dinner."

What? "Really?" Vaail asked, backtracking slightly. He pouted, sliding in beside his brother and swoon, pushing against his brother's shoulder. "But, but... I'll just wilt away. Come on Nash, you'll feed mm, not that!" Vaail scampered back, glaring at the large soup bone his twin had shoved in his face. "I need meat."

"You won't if I make you eat your teeth."

"You are such a kill joy," Vaail grumbled, ignoring his twin and sighed, making sure to be dramatic and loud. "So meaaaan."

Double checking that you want both searched right?

If it wasn't one thing it was another. F'law found himself walking through another market. Most food this time instead of wares. Zurith had complained today that the Weyr was much too crowded for him. So he had gone along while the blue picked out a hold that didn't have any other dragons nearby. Supposedly he was napping while F'law mingled and explored the market.

He'd seen a stall back with some fruits. When his dragon was ready to leave he'd go back and get a bag. It'd be nice to have some snacks in his rooms. The bluerider meandered slowly. There was no point for him to rush. Zurith would only get grumpy if made to go back too soon. A glimps of open sky, as he headed toward a meat stall, made him flinch.

Harbinger screeched, loud, piercing, and warning as she blinked from between and dived, just missing F'law as she zipped past him to perch on Naanash's shoulder, holding out a leg and her very body language screaming out disdain at being used as a messenger.

"Thank you, Harper." Naanash carefully untied the scroll and added a small bit of tongue to his order as a treat for his flit. He paid and as the cuts of meat were being wrapped, offered the piece of meat to his golden flit. A small smile cross his face as the gold took her treat and he stroked her back.

Vaail made a face at the gold, keeping back a respectful distance from the sharp mouthful of teeth. Bored, bored, ooh, look a rider. He grinned at F'law, leaning back slightly to show off the tattoos climbing up his feet. Sort of cute to. Blue rider? Maybe. Why was knots so difficult to figure out? "Nash, Nash, " he called and nodded to the rider. "What does his knots say?"

"Not intrested," Naanash said flatly.

Zurith quickly found himself a place to perch and looked down from his lofty spot. His wings spread to catch the sun.

"Shards!" F'law growled as a flit buzzed by him. "I don't need a hair cut today." He passed a slight glare to the owner of the flit who'd come so close. Perhaps Zurith's grumpy mood was rubbing off. His own flits put in their appearance. Onyso, his black, came to land on his shoulder; Roordine and Etshy hovered nearby squeaking. He pet the black and sent soothing thoughts to the others.

"Be good and I'll get you a treat before we leave." He could see the meat stand from here, but went to pass on by. Toting raw meat around wasn't on his agenda today. Why had Zurith picked this lowly market? F'law wasn't sure how long he could wander around feasibly.
