Etzer was laying on his bed, idly playing a game on his skellyphone. He wasn't really concentrated on it, but his mind kept wandering to the dream he had of a different place where he had been someone else.
Xiu had been his Queen, and he had still been taken with her as he was... now. And Uller... something bugged him about the stag as well. He couldn't quite place it, but he had the feeling it was beginning to affect him like Xiu had.
A crash emitted from his phone and Etzer threw it onto the other pillow with a sigh, not even bothering to be upset that he'd died on that same game level again. He hadn't even been in the mood to text Molan, and usually he liked to text him at least occasionally.
Drawing his arm over his head, the frost demon let out a groan and stared at the ceiling, closing his eyes before jerking them open again. He sat up and put his face in his hands, visibly shaking.
He didn't want to sleep again. Not now.Saint Sergio Sorry it took me so long <3

Yawning widely to himself, Uller glanced at his phone and frowned a little. He'd gotten Etzer's number after a bit of asking around. However, he was hesitating to text him. Why? Because he'd only talked to the boil once, and it would be kind of awkward, wouldn't it? He didn't know.
The white haired deer monster rolled to the side in his bed, staring at the number on the dimly lit screen on his skellyphone. To text, or not to text. That was the big question right now. He really hadn't seen the boil since their initial talk in the cafeteria. All of his minipets were quiet or sleeping. They knew that Uller was thinking about something seriously. His little tail flicked this way and that before he rolled over to his back.
Fudge it. He was texting.
So, his fingers flew over the keypad to send him this text.Quote: Etzer, I got your number from asking around. This is Uller. Wanted to know if you wanted to catch up again. Without your book this time.
Would the other boil freak out?
One way to find out. Uller hit send and quickly put the phone down on the bed. He threw an arm over his tinted cheeks and sighed. Why was he acting like such a ghoul? He wanted to be friends, that was all.
That was all.

It wasn't odd for Etzer to get random texts, as he gave a lot of ghouls and boils his number. Once his phone buzzed, he picked up his phone and was surprised to hear from the boil. Uller, huh?
Staring at the message, he had to smirk a little, knowing that not everyone liked his flavor of books.Maybe having company over would help to not think about that dream. Sighing and staring at the wall, Etzer felt a fluffy thing press her way into his hands, and he smiled down at his small Pygmy Wish.
"Hi, Tango. Worried a bit, huh?" He scratched behind an ear as she curled up on his chest, staring at her with wide, grey eyes. Now all he had to wait for was Uller to show up.

Etzer blinked at the text, shoulders dropping. Jack, he hadn't thought of that at all. He was out of it, and inwardly cursed himself. He probably sounded like a sarcastic git, didn't he?Quote: Sorry. It's the lowest floor, at [location].

He felt the phone vibrate against his leg and pulled it out. Smirking at the text, he didn't bother texting back. Instead, he gave his mini's a quick behave and goodbye and he was off. Heading towards the dorms where Etzer indicated.
Honestly, it was easy to find the place. Arctic and ice creatures always kept their personal spaces nice and cold. Knocking on the door, Uller stuffed his hands into the pockets of his dark blue jeans and waited. His ponytail spilled over his shoulder, contrasting with the dark green shirt he was wearing. He didn't bother with his heavy coat. He would be at a comfortable temperature with the other.
"Etzer?"

Opening the door, Etzer gave a small wave as he allowed Uller to enter. By now, he had tea brewing in the pot and spookies piled up on a plate, as well as some vegetables on another plate sitting next to it. "I made some refreshments. Wasn't sure what you liked. I'm partial to spookies myself."
Tango perked up from the bed, leaping off of it like a springboard and ramming right into Uller's leg, sliding around it with her tail curling.
"She seems to like you." Etzer muttered, the corner of his lips twitching as he fought against grinning.

As he came in the room, something hit his leg. Glancing down at the Pygmy Wish, he crouched and gave a little smirk. "Well, isn't she precious.." He reached out a cold hand to scratch under the Wish' chin lightly and then straightened himself up and moved to sit down where ever. "Spookies are fine. But you did not have to go through the trouble, honestly," he said with a casual shrug.
"So why did you want me here? I meant somewhere public." He wasn't being rude, just curious.

"Ahhh. My mistake. Well, I don't really mind, I do a lot of my business here as well. So it's... kind of public?" Etzer shrugged as he took a spookie and pointed at the mannequins and outfits he was working on. "I do a lot of designing here, and get quite a few clients."
As Uller sat on the couch, the Pygmy Wish sniffed at him and wandered back over to the bed, finding her place on the pillow before curling up and ignoring both of them.
"Tango's spoiled, so don't worry about her." Etzer waved after the Pygmy Wish and brought the plate of snacks over, setting it on the table. He then brought two mugs of tea over, setting one in front of Uller while he sat on the other side of the couch, crossing his legs as he glanced over his unfinished outfits.
"I'm sorry I'm not much for company. I've... got a lot on my plate right now." Like how to deal with nightmares.

When Etzer said clients, Uller arched a brow. He hadn't even noticed the designing things. Then he glanced around as the explanation furthered and he gave a nod. Alright, that was more like it. Sighing a bit more, he just took a spookie and started nibbling on it as he watched the snobbish wish ignore both of them. "I think it's a common wish trait. Mine is very much the same. Only comes to me when he wants attention and then I can bugger off for all he cares."
The stag let out a little chuckle before shrugging. "I was merely curious, is all. No judgement or anything. Is your," he waved his hand around the room, "business what kept me from seeing you about campus?"
He wasn't going to say he had been looking for the other boil, but whatever. Let the other think what he want.

"Most likely. I tend to keep holed up in my room for unjackly amounts of time, and my brother often has to drag me out to attend classes and the like." Etzer didn't seem to pick up on the hint. If he did, he just let it slide.

"Brother... You've mentioned him before though I've never seen him," he was starting to think this brother was imaginary. Until otherwise, Etzer just was playing make believe with his brother story. Whatever. It wouldn't bother this boil at all.
He tucked a bit of hair behind his ear and watched the other. "What were you doing before I texted, anyway? You replied fairly quickly."
Shifting on the couch, Uller crossed his legs, resting his left ankle on his right knee, watching him with those black eyes that seemed to have no end to them. He was, however checking the boil out. He hadn't put much thought into ..enjoying another boil's physique like this. Yet, Jack help him, here he was, doing just that.

"Surprising, considering he's out more than I am. You can hear him coming with his bells." Etzer snorted. "His room is next to mine if you'd like to say hello."
As he asked about his quick reply, Etzer sighed and found the ceiling rather interesting. "A nightmare. One that I can't really shake." The frost demon pursed his lips as he grimaced, shaking his head at the memory.

"I'm in far more than I am out. I have not gone to class in a few months..." He confessed with a sigh. Uller shook his head at the offer to say hello to this brother and just moved to pick at invisible lint on his jeans.
"Nightmares, hm?" He asked, glancing up at the other. "Tell me of it. Maybe it will help.." Not that he could honestly do much about it. Uller was fairly useless at comforting others, but some did say talking helped a lot.

"It's ... alright, really. Just a nightmare that made me out to be weaker than I am. What's bugging me is that I don't fight well at all, and I just... I don't know if it's true. Everything I did in that dream turned out to be a failure." Reaching up, Etzer pinched the bridge of his nose as he thought, closing his eyes.
"Sometimes I wonder just how useful I really am..."
