Well, Tybalt had gotten to go on his fun adventure, so Danny figured why not her too? Why didn't she get an amazing fun adventure of her own?! SHE WANTED TO BE SPECIAL TOO.
Unfortunately Danny wasn't that smart or resourceful. She didn't prepare at all, save for as much studying as she did with Tybalt in the library. She'd slapped a few enchantments on, but it was hardly like that was going to do anything except keep her safe from water. She'd manage. Somehow.
Probably not.
"OKAY RECRUITS," she announced, wearing her own strange military hat. "WE ARE GONNA ... Hm well. We are gonna do this thing. And do it together! Teamwork yeah ..." She looked to Gene for mama bear assistance, but none was found.
She let out a cough. "YEAH. WELL. I've gathered you guys 'cause we're gonna go like ... artifact hunting! Or something! In the sunken cave. I don't really know where that is. So yeah."
Your leader, ladies and gentlemen.

Rikki was a good boilfriend.
Rikki was a kind and patient boilfriend.
Rikki was a tired as jack boilfriend and he really didn't understand why they were going on some kind of adventure when they could be in bed cuddling. Cuddling, Danny. He tried to communicate his displeasure with his eyes, but because it was Danny that would never work.
"But Danny. Where did you get the hat."

Gene was a patient mama bear, but good Jacking Jack did she get frustrated with the ghoul some days. She didn't even really plan for this? Gene just shook her head as she face palmed, letting Danny learn on her own. Sometimes you just had to let the Flame Demon touch the bucket of cold water.
She sighed and gave a wave of greeting to Rikki, Levis, and West. The last two got a knowing nod following the wave, while Rikki got a small glare. She was watching you, punk.

West had never been a particularly helpful boil. Most of the time, he was only concerned with his own well being and the well being of those closest to him. But Danny was his mentor-bro or something, right? They shared a bond forged under the ghostly fist of that rat-b*****d Rage. Plus, he kind of wanted to hit some things, and that's what the word 'adventure' meant to him. Maybe he'd even find some other people whose well beings he could care about.
He had hesitated to ask Levi to come at all, considering that this outing would largely involve interacting with a ghoul that he knew and she did not. What had eventually pushed him from "don't ask her" to "ask her" was the simple fact that Danny had not sent him a Scarentine and therefore could not be fought over. Excellent.
The boil returned Gene's wave with a nod of his own, fighting the urge to step farther away from Levi under the ghost's scrutiny. These ghouls and their meaningful glances. She was almost as bad as Xiu.

West would receive another meaningful glance- just for good measure. Their scuffle regarding the scarentines was well over and done with but that didn't mean she couldn't still mess with him. Just for good measure.
The tatzel wasn't familiar with two of the individuals present, including the ghoul with the fancy-pants hat they were here to assist, but Levi knew Gene from their out of body experience so to speak. A ghoul willing to help save Xiu was a ghoul she'd happily befriend. Not to mention the Gene she knew made one heck of a tea for her back then. A big toothy smile would accompany her wave back to the ghost.
Eyes darting back to the new pair she had yet to recognize, Levi rested her thumbs in the loops of her jean shorts, walking up to each of them. First was the boil with chains, one hand rising and be offered in hearty greeting along with a few words from the tatzel. Aye thar! Name's Levi. Pleasure ta'meet'cha! To the ghoul with the orange hair, Levi added an additional bit of info to her introduction that she gathered might help them in their apparent search. If it's sunken, reckon that means it's under water, eh? The cogs and wheels in Levi's mind were working at their full capacity on this one.

Danny had been mumbling something to Rikki along the lines of you don't just ask a person where they got their hat when the others showed up. Gene looked particularly grouchy today, and West had brought his ghoulfriend. Well the more the merrier! Danny would accept all halloweenkind on her mission for she was the best leader ever.
"YES!" Danny said, dramatically pointing to Levi. "And it will be full of scary traps and peril, and hey I might die BUT THAT IS THE RISK YOU TAKE FOR GLORY, LEVI!" It seemed the poor ghoul hadn't yet been exposed to Danny's particular brand of ... enthusiasm.
Danny gestured widely around her. "First we gotta find the portal though! It should be around here somewhere ... last time Tybalt sniffed it out ... Are any of you guys dogs??"Quote: gaia_crown [ Getting Started ]
Getting to the Cavern: As the Cavern is half submerged in water, and is basically an underwater island, you'll have to open the portal very, very carefully - otherwise you might just find yourself learning what it's like to be a fish. Hunters can enter Halloween as well without a golem (recommended as the Isle itself is very golem unfriendly due to its climate and high altitude as well as natural enemies), for a max of 30 minutes. Each roll takes 5 IC minutes - students can pretty much park here as long as they need as well as horsemen while Hunters will need to exit and enter back again. - Basically, all Hunter characters have 6 chances to find the portal. If they don't find it, they will need to leave and come back. Students and Horsemen do not need to ICly leave and come back. - All players roll 1d100. - Rolling 50 or less will let players find a portal that randomly leads to an island - except not the right island, where on Earth are you?? - Rolling 70 or less will let players find a portal that randomly leads to what appears to be an empty shack on an entirely different island. But there is something hostile lurking here... - Rolling 80 or less will lead you to the Haunted House. Oops. - Rolling 81 or higher will lead you to the portal that opens up on the most stable part of the Sunken Cavern. Congratulations, you've made it. I hope you know how to swim.

A portal blipped open directly to her left. One that was gushing out water.
"Yeah like that!" she cheered, giving a little fist pump. Those who knew her well would see the trepidation in her steps, but she was considerably more confident from the last time this had happened. Her tail quivered a bit, but she tried to put on a strong face. "So yeah, that's the portal!"
Well that was easy.
[ Not @ the boss quite yet, just giving you guys your roles and giving you an rp reaction post ovo/ ]Roles Selected Levi: DPS - Damage dealers do DOUBLE Fear/ charged attack damage (when it hits).
Danny: DPS - Damage dealers do DOUBLE Fear/ charged attack damage (when it hits).
Rikki: DPS - Damage dealers do DOUBLE Fear/ charged attack damage (when it hits).
West: Tank - You have DOUBLE your original HP but do half the damage! You can quote UP TO TWO players a round to SHIELD Them. This effect is unlimited but don't forget to quote your targets.

Gene was actually terrifying though. Rikki barely managed a tiny wave to her, shuffling a couple steps closer to Danny. Danny would protect him. He hoped.
He focused on Levi instead, offering his own wave back. She was... friendly? Friendly. He'd stick with that. "I'm Rikki." He might have gone a bit bug-eyed when she mentioned water. More-so when Danny didn't immediately freak out. It was a rare day when Rikki was more terrified of Danny near water than the fire demon was. "Whoa there. No one said anything about risks for glory. I do not like that risk, let's not take it."
Not that it was easy to avoid the risk when their portal was spitting out water like that. He sighed and rested a hand on her lower back in a silent show of support. "Yeah sure, fire demon, watery portal. What could go wrong with this."

A small cough came from Gene as she passed Rikki into the portal. Honestly, it was just a bit of water - even his ghouldriend, the FLAME DEMON, could handle this. Scaredy-demon cat.
Hovering a few inches above the water and waiting for the rest of the entourage, Gene crossed her arms as she looked to the cave. Time to kick some more guardian butt.

Rikki. Okay. He hadn't known the other boil's name before now, but as usual, it was easier to piggyback off of Levi's hospitality than it was to muster any of his own. West squinted at the portal as it popped into existence, a slightly more pronounced flash of distaste than usual marring his features when he saw just how much water was pouring out of it. He didn't mind getting wet in theory, he just happened to be wearing a coat that was about twenty-seven percent covered in fur at the moment. He shrugged and let out a barely audible sigh as he shucked it off and placed it on the ground well away from the gushing water.
"All right," he muttered. Without further ado, he glanced briefly at Levi before following Gene through the portal. "West," he said to Rikki on the way past. Depending on what Danny had told him beforehand about who was coming on this journey, the meaning of that statement could have just as easily been crystal clear or clear as mud.

She watched Gene enter the portal and nodded. Good good.
Still, there was another order of business. She gestured West closer and whispered, "Ummmmmmmm West can you uh ... do a thing for me?" She gestured to the portal. "I can't uh ... swim so ... could you carry me again ..."
She gave him big puppy dog eyes in the form of a meaningful glance. Pleeeeeeease.

He stopped in his tracks, Danny's words sending a cold wave of dread through him. It would have been another story entirely if she'd just asked to be carried. Understandable. She was a flame demon and all. But those two little syllables—again—turned the question from an innocent one into something else entirely.
West's eyes went wide and he looked back at Levi with a very nervous smile. "That was... uh... b'fore. She was unconscious an'... um..." his voice lowered to a whisper, "...we weren't... yet..."
It was astonishing how quickly one could go from raring to go to positively miserable.
"Levi? D'you think y'could..." Please. Help.

The tatzel's ears stood straight when a finger was pointed straight at her; it was a reflex. Tilting her head, Levi withdrew back to West's side as the flaming ghoul went on. Adventure and overcoming obstacles was intriguing for Levi, so all the tatzel could do to affirm she understood was nod, crossing her arms under her chest. The flame ghoul was certainly enthusiastic about pointing this fact out, so Levi saw fit to not question the whys. Tch, wheres Rex when ya'need 'im? Smiling, Levi shook her head at the hint of needing a dog to sniff out the portal. Luckily, it seemed that wasn't the case here anyway. No sooner than Danny had suggested looking for a portal did one randomly appear before her. Ain't that luckier than'a hairball in'a horseshoe. Tail wavering behind her, Levi glanced at the movement happened out of the corner of her eye. West was removing his coat to keep it from getting the fur damp, she assumed. The thick tail of the ghoul sneakily snaked towards the coat, petting the fur and balling the coat up more tightly. Levi had no problems with water herself despite her fur, so it was through the portal she followed West. That is, however, until her large fuzzy ears tweaked to a whispering of her boilfriend's name. Raising a brow, Levi's glaring eyes slid towards the wrath demon. There was nothing wrong with helping a friend, but given their recent quarreling, the white haired ghoul was a bit on edge regarding West's activities with other ghouls. I see... The boil was all too quick to point out that he'd done things like this regularly before they'd begun dating. A sting like a bruise under her ribcage caused Levi to take in a deep breath, tail wiping from side to side behind her anxiously. There was one way to ease her worries, she thought. A certain level of trust on her part would have to be applied; the wrath demon wasn't the type to do what she was thinking, right? After all, West himself looked to her first. Recalling this eased that strange pain from her gut. I can give ya'a hand, screecheart. Levi stood nearly hip-to-hip with West, offering a hand out to Danny with as sweet a smile as she could present. The ghoul likely didn't mean anything by her request, Levi reasoned, but if it was between the two of them to carry Danny over, the tatzel preferred she be the one to do it. Ma'tail's done fine b'fore carryin' over folk. The tatzel had indeed ferried over her peers before on her tail. The muscular tendril could handle the weight of Levi herself, so bearing the weight of the small demon wasn't going to be any trouble. Along with her offered hand, Levi's tail slithered behind Danny in preparation to act as a seat of her if she chose to allow Levi to carry her over. Think'a it like'a swing. Just hold'on n' I'll carry ya 'bove tha water. Hows that sound fer ya?

Why was West being so weird about it?
Danny's eyes lit up at the idea of riding a person's tail. She clapped and said, "Oh dude awesome! I just didn't want to like ... y'know ... be ripped into a bunch of little FEAR bits." How she managed to say that with a cheery smile was a bit creepy.
As she loaded herself onto the tail, she drabbled on, "Yeah dude West is super nice. Well I mean I guess you know that. But like ... when I was like super dead in the haunted house, Mandy was like BARAWR WEST CARRY HER and West did it." She nodded approvingly. "I guess I should probably stop dying."
She gave a look to the rest of her crew and nodded as they departed across the water.
---
Once on the other side of the cavern, after a particularly terrifying ride, Danny pulled her hat down a bit tighter. "Okay so there's probably some big scary dude here ... somewhere ... I dunno maybe we'll get lucky."
They weren't lucky.
A shadow rippled through the murky waters behind them. Two jaws snapped feverishly, a roar splitting the air. At first it seemed like the water itself was attacking the group, but it quickly revealed itself to be a crocodile. In between the scales sat moss, seaweed, leaves, vines.
One thing was for sure. He wasn't here to play.
[ BOSS HP: 36 x 3 = 108 ]Quote: gaia_crown [ Round 1: BOSS FIGHT ]
- There is no stamina for this, but you must first clear a boss fight. The GM must designate in their group: - 1 healer. They can HEAL your party instead of doing damage. Roll damage equal to their YEAR (so Y1 = 2d6, Y2 = 2d8 etc)- 6 damage for heal amount. They can target ONE player. They do TRIPLE HEALS to a Tank (2x heal 'damage' done)! This effect is unlimited but don't forget to quote your target. - 1 Tank. They have DOUBLE their original HP but do half the damage! They can quote UP TO TWO players a round to SHIELD Them. This effect is unlimited but don't forget to quote your targets. - 3 DPS (damage dealers). Damage dealers do DOUBLE Fear/ charged attack damage (when it hits). - Once these roles are set they CANNOT be changed for the entire duration! - 1 round counts as a full round of all players attacking the boss, followed by the boss hitting them. The GM will be in charge of the auto damage of the boss. So the sequence of attacks are: - Player 1 moves. Uses special ability if applicable. * - Player 2 moves . Uses special ability if applicable. Quote any targets. * - Player 3 moves, etc etc. * - Player 4 moves * - GM moves (as player 5) * - GM moves (as Boss). Roll 5d20. On the first turn only, calculate the boss's HP. The 5d20 will then be used as damage for the players each round. - Player 1 moves * - Player 2 moves * - Player 3 moves * - Player 4 moves * - GM moves (as player 5) * - GM moves (as Boss round 2) Roll 5d20. Calculate it for damage done to players - Tepeat until boss is dead!
* These are all interchangeable. They however can only attack once a round and wait for he boss move before attacking again! If a player fails to make a move after 12 hours you can go ahead and skip them and just post the boss move and refresh a new round.
BOSS ROUNDS: - GMS, you are free to invent a boss here, and its description as long as it is swampy and mossy! Feel free to improvise as you please, this IS your dungeon run! - When it is the boss's turn, the GM needs to roll the Boss's HP and damage done. Roll 5d20. The total value of the dice rolls TIMES THREE is the HP of the boss. If I roll 80, then the Hp of the boss is 240. - The FIRST roll damages player 1. The SECOND player 2 (in order of what turn they attacked at). The third player 3, so on so forth. Post in OOC accordingly and quote each player their damage. So for example if you rolled 5 , 6, 2, 12, 20, the person who posted first gets the 5 damage, the second the 6, etc etc. - Repeat until either boss OR players are down (sans rolling for HP again). If the players go down (the whole team), you are ejected from the dungeon! You have to pay 5 RP points to try again from start...

Should Rikki be offended that some ghoul was carrying his ghoulfriend through the portal? Probably. Was Rikki weak and unable (read: unwilling) to do it himself? Yep. So he'd shut his trap and let the big strong monster do it, hell yeah he would. Besides, if he walked near Levi's tail he could maybe use it to shield himself from Gene when she inevitably snapped and killed everyone.
He offered a salute to the other demon, taking a moment to figure out that West was a name and not the direction they were heading. Though he could be a direction demon or something. Could be useful.
--
Once on the other side of the portal Danny opened her mouth and everything went to s**t. Rikki summoned his weapon and went straight for a fear charged attack. Ain't no jackin' around with a crocodile.
