Tybalt was supposed to be researching something about humans for his human studies homework. But instead he was parked at the table, turning books into paper airplanes.
It wasn't like there was much to learn anyways. Humans were grouchy, frail, liked blaming things on other people--mostly creatures of Halloween, and turned those same creatures into weapons for their own personal gain. In short, humans were like the scum of the earth. What was there to learn. Fortunately, today he had brought along a study buddy of sorts.
"Find anything useful?" He called over his shoulder; casually tossing a newly made airplane and watching it sail a short distance before it collided with the nearest book shelf.

Danny caught the airplane. Unfortunately with her tail. It was burnt to a crisp in moments.
"Mmmmm not really. What were we supposed to be looking for anyways?" Danny said, now in the process of attempting to climb one of the bookshelves. A teacher had sent them here for "self-study" but it was more than likely because Danny had been lobbing fireballs at Tybalt in class and had gotten them both in trouble.
The librarian then came and whispered angrily at Danny to get down this instant. Whoops. "We should go exploring!"

Tybalt watched as the airplane burnt to a crisp, leaving nothing behind and sighed.
"Nothing worth looking for, I can tell you that. Humans are not exactly worth the time and effort. Unless its stuff like---the hunters who always have it out for us." He leaned back in his chair, balancing a pencil between two fingers, before giving it a twirl. The ruined books were quickly covered however, when a certain librarian appeared, warning Danny to get off the shelf.
"Exploring where? There's not exactly anything interesting to explore on campus that we haven't already." Now he slumped over the books, looking over the names and frowning.
"Hey, Danny. You grabbed a book that's completely unrelated." He held up one, old worn out tome and gave Danny an amused look. "I though you could read." He teased.

Danny began to protest, "I meant exploring the libra-" but Tybalt brought up another point.
She raised an eyebrow and looked at the book she'd picked up. "Uhhh I dunno it just looked neat. I think it had pictures too. What's it say??"

Tybalt snorted, dropping the book back onto the rest of the pile.
"A picture book, eh? What are you a magpie?" Though that certainly sounded a lot better than the dull ones with nothing but lengthy texts. The same that they were told to look through. "Well then, lets have a looksee~" He said, waving her over, turning the cover over.

She moved with Tybalt's gesture, glancing at the book ."Hm?"

Tybalt gave the ghoul a blank stare.
"Uhhh nevermind--look at this." He said instead, directing her attention towards the book. Which, while Danny was busy climbing down from the bookshelf, he had browsed through a couple of pages before he found a few things that had caught his interest.

"That's a looooooot of water," Danny said with a frown, rubbing her chin at the images of the cave. "Like ... a lot of w-"
Suddenly the treasure caught her eyes, "OOH WHAT'S THAT."

"It is isn't it?" He said with a grin. Oblivious to Danny's frown. Of course it never occurred to the black dog that water didn't mix well with a fire demon. "I bet there is a looot of water all through the place. Looks like a fun place to swim and explore." He added, resting his chin on his hand.
"That," He pointed out when Danny spoke up a again. "is treasure! Or artifacts, so says the book. Which is one and the same." He shrugged. "Supposedly this place actually exists somewhere."

Danny's frown only deepend as Tybalt's grin grew. "Yeah but I don't like water. How would I get the treasure. 'Cause like anywhere past here," she pointed to a spot in the water, "And I would die."
Danny didn't want to die. Did you want Danny to die, Tybalt?
"Where d'you think it is? I bet its the Amityville pond!!"
It wasn't the Amityville pond.

"By exploring of course!" He gave the ghoul a bop on the head with the book and grinned wider. "You did say you wanted to go exploring, didn't you?" He gave the book a quick tap and pointed at the image. "This is the perfect opportunity!"
He paused, tilting his head at Danny. "Really? No water at all? There's nothing you can get that can protect you against it? Even if for a little while?" He asked.
Tybalt was already dead, Danny.
"I... don't think its Amityville pond. Or anywhere in Amityville." He corrected. "It would have been found by now if it was.

"Ooooh. Let's go exploring! Let's go exploring!" she cheered, raising a fist and shouting, which prompted the library to shHHHH them.
Danny nodded at Tybalt and gestured that they should leave the library. "Should we get people to help us??"
