Castiel Ansoomse:
Cas made sure not to rush when he saw his parents. Had it just been earlier that day that he had told his parents that he was going to leave to try and find his brothers? He would have looked sheepish if he'd been capable of it. But then, expressing emotions had never really come easy to him, he'd never really understood them. Dene had always been the one to try and bring them out of him as a cub. Growing up without his brother had just made his cool exterior downright frigid.

He kept his steps slow, measured as he walked up to his mother and father, stopping when he reached normal speaking distance. As soon as he stopped walking, he turned his attention to Anna, a small part of him, deep, very deep down worried that he might have imagined her. But seeing her with him reassured him that he hadn't imagined or even Seen the encounter. She was there, real, and had seen his brothers.
"Father... Mom, this is Channah. She's newly joined our clan and has news," he introduced the lioness at his side to his parents before returning his attention to her, giving Anna an encouraging nod to tell them.

Rashida & Azrael:
The day was going rather well for the family. Rashida had caught a small waterbuck, and she had brought the meal home. It was a decent fill for the two adults, since the children were out. If you could even still call them children. They were grown, and she was proud of each and every one of them.

"That was delicious. Thank you for sharing." Azrael said, a smile on his maw. He rarely smiled much anymore. When he did, it was usually to her. But he hadn't ever lost the guilt that had always been brooding in his belly over losing Sam and Dene. Rashida was his support, as he wasn't sure what he would have done with himself had he not needed to be there for her.

"You're very welcome dear. I couldn't eat all of that even if I had wanted to." She chuckled, and was using her claws to slowly remove the pelt off the parts that had remained uneaten between the two of them.

Rashida's eyes lifted as Castiel walked in, a curious look in her gaze. Azrael frowned a bit. He wasn't upset that there was a stranger.. but he didn't particularly take to them. Rashida however, was thinking that she was about to have a daughter in this newcomer. She had figured Castiel was introducing her to his new mate.

"Welcome, darling! What a pleasure it is to meet you."

Channah:
Ana listened to Castiel speak to his parents, and she found herself growing a bit anxious. She gulped a little, and looked at the dark lioness that was busying herself with a carcass. She was beautiful, and sleek..Her mate a golden lion that was as lovely as Castiel was. But she felt very put on the spot, and she tried not to let her voice shake.

"Pleasure to meet you too." She said with a nod of her head. She supposed that she should just get on with it. Would do her no good to dilly dally, and she was sure that Castiel wouldn't really appreciate a slow giveaway either.

"I am from the rogue lands. Deep in the jungle, really." She started, before clearing her throat a bit. "I know Samm, and I know Dene. They are returning home.. and were supposed to have beaten me here. But they always were a bit slow.." She said chuckling. Then she sobered up, looking bashful. Great, let's make fun of the two boys right in front of their parents. That was smooth.

Castiel Ansoomse:
Cas matched his father's frown and sat down next to Ana, establishing just who's side he was on in this matter. He was the one who'd brought her here, who'd talked her into coming to see them and he wasn't going to let his father make her nervous.

"Channah and I talked on the way here, from the sound of it, they're well." As he'd known they would be. Without even thinking about it, one of his paws touched Ana's, a sort of unspoken, unconscious reassurance that she hadn't said anything wrong. He honestly didn't even realize he'd done it.

Rashida & Azrael:
Rashida smiled, "The rogue lands? We hail from there as well, actually. How glad we are to have you-..." She stopped, when realization his her face, and her eyes widened. She felt like she couldn't breathe, her breath caught in her lungs. She looked to Castiel, as if looking to see if this was some sort of cruel joke. When he seemed confident, she looked back at Ana, and her eyes welled up. She stood, running towards her, to offer her a nuzzle in gratitude. She knew her babies? She knew where they were? Oh she felt her heart soar with joy. She couldn't help but thank the lioness that had brought her that joy.

"Oh Channah.. You have no idea how long I've hoped to hear those words." She said, and she looked at Azrael who was also staring in shock. His face no longer holding the frown. He had hoped for this day as well, and he stood, for once showing his true emotion for a moment.

"They are alive? You are sure?" He asked, his voice rough.

Channah:
Channah watched as the emotions ran across Rashida's face once she realized what she had said. Though she hadn't expected the female to take a running leap towards her. She gulped, her own eyes going wide, but she tried to remain calm. She didn't mind the contact at all, but she was still a bit antsy at how they would react with all of this.

"They are alive. I am sure." She said, her teal eyes cast towards Azrael. She was surprised to see him standing at Rashida's side over this. Especially with Castiel having painted him as a bit detached.

"They are very, very great lions. They are fighters, warriors."

Castiel Ansoomse:
When his mother leapt up and rushed forward, it was all Cas could do but pull away at the last second, scooting quickly to give her room to rain affection down on Ana. He didn't want to be in the way, after all. Or get bowled over for that matter.
Yes, he was right, his mother did cry. But it was so good to see tears of joy on her face again, not sorrow. His brothers were alive and his family's hope renewed. It was definitely a debt he'd never be able to repay.

Granted, it did pain him, just a little, that there had been disbelief. Had his own reassurances not been enough? Obviously. But he didn't let it show. No, he just sat there, his expression calm as he nodded in agreement to what Ana said.
"From what you told me, they don't seem to have changed much for all their adventures."
