If there was one thing that Captain Mariposite didn’t like, it was being bored. And being lonely, that too. It had been a good few weeks since he had seen his girlfriend, and honestly, he was getting a mixture of both worried and annoyed at the fact. Hadn’t he gotten the job so he could start saving money for some sort of trip for them? Then what, she just decided to stop getting in contact with him?
He sighed, twirling his whip between his fingers. There wasn’t much of a reason to be mad. She was still in high school after all, and finals were coming up…and…well. He could make all the excuses in the world for her, but that wouldn’t change the fact that she wasn’t here now with him.
And that fact sucked.
Though. Tonight was a new night. Perhaps tonight he could find another pretty girl to flirt with and charm, and make all of the annoying thoughts and feelings about Esme just flutter out the window. Hell, maybe he’d even go so far as kissing whoever it was, just for funsies.
He needed some funsies in his life. Because right now all he had was not funsies, and that was not fun at all.
The captain wondered rather aimlessly for a few minutes, then paused, feeling a quite strong aura of someone nearby, and the aura wasn’t chaos, that was for sure. A terribly attractive woman in a short skirt perhaps? Well, that would be something worth going to see! He took off running right for it, and to his utter delight, he wasn’t let down. It was a pretty girl in a short skirt. “Well well. What’s a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this…wearing an outfit like that?”
Mariposite had no shame. No shame at all.

Sailor Iris was waiting around for a boy.
Said boy was a defective girl. However, Parthenope was taking things from being "fashionably late" to "annoyingly late" at this point. It wasn't like the eternal senshi didn't have better things to do than patrol. She had plenty of things to do, such as walking her dog, planning out the paint job for the Vortex, maybe even hanging out with Hobbes or Phil or Zuniga or Jared. However, responsibility was something the blonde took seriously, even if her acceptance was still grudging at best.
Unfortunately, a boy managed to find her, and perhaps did the stupidest thing in the world when approaching the 6 foot tall girl.
He called her pretty.
Her nostrils flared up as she almost seemed to puff out steam in a cartoon-like fashion. "....the f*ck you talkin' 'bout?" she barked gruffly.
Iris wasn't ignorant and was pretty aware the one who now approached her was definitely a part of the Negaverse. However, he had definitely hit a sore point with the tall girl. So now, the blonde was glaring at the strangely circus-festive Negaverse Captain, arms crossed quite quickly as she seemed to demand an explanation for this bullsh*t!

Mariposite was used to reactions that weren’t that great from senshi, but this was a new one. Normally at least they acted somewhat flustered and blushed or something. Something cute. But this girl…well. Maybe she was just rough around the edges or something.
“Sorry? I was just commenting on your appearance and the fact that you are all alone out here.” He waved a hand nonchalantly and shrugged. “Why are you all alone? You’re not walking around like the senshi normally do, are you lost or something? You feel strong enough that I wouldn’t think you’re new or anything.”
He ran one of his hands through his long blonde hair, watching the senshi with a slightly amused expression. She seemed interesting at the very least. Maybe tonight would be fun after all…even if she didn’t want to flirt back with him.

She didn't even shift in stance, arms still crossed, and her expression still as grouchy as before. "Ain't gonna be alone fer long."
She was waiting for someone, and as tempting as it was to go patrolling alone, as the team captain, she had learned her lesson a while back about following the rules.
However, trouble had found her, even if it wasn't all that threatening in her opinion.
Trouble that was rambling on a bit too much about what she was doing that evening. Once he had commented about sensing her strength, she rolled her eyes a bit. "Ain't you th'observant one..." The expression on this Captain's face creeped her out a bit.
It was enough for her to get straight to the point. "....I suggest ya get yer a** outta'ere before I wipe yer face 'cross th'asphalt."
