She say the flyer in a book store. TREASURE! Just grab a map and go! Guaranteed winners one and all! Meet at the plaza for your map! Following the instructions, the tiny teal blood went out, got he map, and now was hot on the trail of the fabled treasure.
Climbing over a few rocks by the beach and looking to the map, Atiqua was pretty sure the tree in the picture was the one not to far off. She was one step closer- to victory.

There was a map. The map had an X. The X was supposedly treasure. Tobias clutched the parchment in little fists and stared at it fiercly.  He follow the dotted line with close precision, except he wasn't sure whether that potato shaped rock was actually a carrot shaped rock. He hummed in confusion, tilting his map this way and back. Except. Except that hair definitely wasn't part of his map. He dropped the paper and glared at the troll nearby. "You're not going to get it. It's mine."

Hold the phone, trolls were not on her map, and she certainly didn't invite anybody. Looking up from her map, orange eyes went to the redblood. One troll.
This was one troll too many.
She wished she had seadad with her but alas, the contest said no lusus, (or else ye be shot! it warned). Her ride wasn't very intimidating anyway so- it was up to her to fend off this would be treasure theif.
"I don't see your name on it! Or- oh hey it does have an X on the map." And on his sash thingy. But- "Finders keepers, loosers weepers. Go back to your hive bub, this is my find!"

"The only thing going back to my hive is this treasure," he said, poking at the X on his map like he could force it to be his just by touching the ink. "You're not even a real pirate, I bet you don't know how to follow a map!"
He huffed and turned back to examining the rock on the map. Yep, that was definitely potato-shaped, so he had to head left from the potatorock. All the way to the split tree. That the other troll was standing infront of. "...Could you move?"

"EXCUUUUUSE YOU PRINCESS PUFF PANTS!" She actually had the more puffy of the pants but that was beside the point. The point was that she got here first and that this treasure was her's. That was the meat of this issue. "I can so read a map! How do you think I got here? Magic? Pssshhhh."
She waved it off. "I followed my map like a pro. And why?" She purposely moved in front of him. "Why, you think you know where you're going? Cuz I bet you don't! A pirate- ha! Maybe a swabie!"

"Princess Puff Pants. Princess Puff Pants. Did you get dressed in the dark? Do you not know you are so poof-tastic you might start to float?" He huffed, adjusting his sash with sass as stalked closer, despite her blocking him.
"Swabie? You don't even dress like a pirate. How can you tell me what a priate is? Look at your shoes." He might have pointed at her shoes in horror. There was definitely some kind of disgusted expression involved.

Well.. It was NIGHT so sort of. She sort of dressed in the dark. Sort of. And- "My pants are not poofy! They comfortably styled." Learn to educate yourself you dirty deck hand! Your sasshyness!
Backing up as he stepped closer, she sneered a him. "Oh yeah? Maybe I'm a secret pirate. I mean, announcing myself? Get culled in an instant! No- I'm going to be a captain, and as captain I'll wear whatever I want! Even my shoes! ANd look at yourself! You trying to come off the cover of some cheesy red-romance novel? You're so classic it hurts me to look at you!"
While they bantered, another troll, a yellow was slowly sneaking his way past them both.

"CAPTAIN!" He laughed loud and obnoxiously, throwing his head back. "You? A Captain? You'd break a nail. You'd be thrown overboard in mutiny because you bedazzled the canons."
He didn't even notice the other troll. How could he even possibly focus on something else with this imposter bickering at him. "Classic!" He latched on to the term. "I'm classic. I don't try to..." he waved his hand distastefully at her, "Over glam. I'm true to the part."

Oh no. Z snap. He did not just say she wasn't a captain in her own right. "I'll have you know my nails are the kind to rip out eyeballs, the crew more loyal then a woofbeast, and the ship armed to the teeth, gritty and dirty and ready for the rough seas!" She held out her arm, slapping the, (non-existent) muscle.
"You wanna go red blood? Times are changing, and so has the dress code- or maybe you're so low you don't even know what style is!" She kicked some sand at him, ignoring how sand was currently fly into the air not far off.
"True to the party of a land living pansy!"

Tobias gave a sharp, self-deprecating laugh and held his hands up. He shook his head even as he gave her an incredulous glare. "Is that why you think you're a better pirate? Cause I'm a red blood? Too low for your high-blood standards, pretty girl?"
He jerked away from the sand and gnashed shark-like teeth at her. "Bring it, Cap'n!"
There was a shout nearby, but that didn't matter. This troll was goin' down.

"I think I'm better because I know I am!" Running forward to tackle him in the ground, she gnashed her teeth at him, trying to bite his arm. That was Captain Atiqua to you sir!
Kicking and screaming an hair pulling, she had no idea about the cheering going on nearby.
