Pinki loved nice days. He had been up before the sun, just because the air had felt particularly clean. Seeing the sun come up had just been the icing on the cake. He had no doubt in his mind that it was going to be a great day. With the sun that lovely, and the weather so clear?

It was impossible for the day to be anything other than good.

Stopping dead, he noticed that there was a female not too far ahead of him, who looked like she had just woken up. "Hello!" He called, not the type to feel nervous around strangers, "how are you this fine day? I don't think I've seen you around these parts before!"

When she nearly fell, he let out a startled gasp, his body already bracing to leap after her and try to help her back up. But it seemed there was no need for worry- she ended up managing to stay on the rock and it didn't look like he had managed to get her injured with his sudden greeting.

Needed to be less loud- he would have to make a note of that somehow.

"sorry about startling you! I don't normally meet other lions in this area," he chuckled lightly, "and I do! I live not too far from here. It's a nice place, isn't it? Perfect for sun bathing!" He offered her a polite bow of his head, deciding it was a good time to give a proper greeting.

"My name is Pinki! It's a pleasure to meet you!"
