Yorugami Hope you don't mind me tagging like this! Haha. Hope this is alright for a start. I'm not too terribly great at doing them. A trail of blood ran down Kilian's face as he staggered out of the alley he had been taking as a short cut. He really wasn't having too great of a day. First he had had to deal with that stupid Kiandre draikein that had bonded with him and then he had lost to a girl in training. Not the first time either... He thought to himself as his mind wondered back to the first time he had met Elleth. Then he had ran into that group of thugs on his way back home. He leaned his back against the cold stone of the building and took a deep breath. "Damn those bastards..." He grumbled as he swiped at the blood now running down his cheek. There wasn't much he could do now, except keep moving. Though he had been heading home originally he now wanted to wander a bit. He needed time to cool down. No way would he bring his anger home to his cousin. So instead, he headed to the bazaar part of town.

Ignotus Ignotus hunched down into the cloak he’d brought along with him for the trip to Soudul. Oblivionites in general were a much harsher sort of race and their tolerance of hybrids given a more noticeable form. Serenia in comparison was a more innocent land where a hybrid such as him had more room to manoeuvre. Alas, there were things one can only obtain in Soudul and the blackmarket trade at the Bazaar found within the heart of Obsidian city held a few things he needed to maintain his golems. That was definitely one of the downsides of creating your help rather than hiring help.
Another little thing which made it even harder for him to hide was the fact that Oblivionites were dark skinned and although Ignotus has the dark blood within his veins, he was as pale as any Orderite and he fairly stood out even without moving.
Feeling a bit more paranoid, he rekindled the concealment spell he’d cast around himself earlier with a frantic mutter. He could feel his companion, Informis, huddling around the upper arm of his one-sleeved robe.
“We shouldn’t dally in Soudul Iggy.” The kitsune whispered to him mentally, “We’re liable to get re-banished at this point.”
In his hurry, Ignotus nearly ran over a young bloody-covered Oblivionite that was equally speedy in his haste to leave the alley he had come from.
Caught in surprise, Ignotus couldn’t stop his wings from flaring in an instinctive reflex to protect his body. The bright bluish-white wings glared shockingly bright amongst the dark environs of Obsidian City.
“Ah!” The mage exclaimed.

Kilian was too frustrated and distracted to noticed the cloaked man coming right into his path until it was too late. He bumped into the man, causing him to fall backwards and hit the side of a building. His day just kept getting worse. He growled and turned his attention to the stranger. What the hell!" he growled out. "What where you're going next ti..." Kilian's words caught in his throat as he caught sight of the man's bright wings. He couldn't help but drop his mouth open in surprise. This certainly wasn't something he had expected to see. Kilian scanned the rest of the man's body and quickly moved up to his face. He knew, instinctively he was looking at a hybrid. Though he'd never seen one before in person. He'd been told nothing but bad things about them. So of course, he was quick to judge. But what was he doing here? Kilian glared at the man, not making any move away from the building. At least there, his back was covered.

Ignotus “We are so dead.” grumbled Informis from within his robe sleeve.
Ignotus quickly folded down his wings and repositioned the dark cloak around his shoulders to conceal most of his features. Tail curling anxiously around one leg, Ignotus cursed under his breath at the bad turn his luck was taking. Briefly eyeing the young Oblivionite from the corner of his vision, he seemed equally unlucky as well.
The mage observed the shocked look overcome the features across the boy, and shuddered. He could only imagine all those hybrid-are-abomination-stories that must be running through the Oblivionite’s head. Ignotus scowled deeply.
This encounter could certainly take a turn for the worse if he didn’t handle this right. Even though he was certainly powerful enough, as a Master Mage, that he’d probably escape from Obsidian City unharmed ( guards or no guards) he would still be lacking the ingredients he’d come to Soudul to procure in the first place.
Ignotus observed the boy quickly scrambling to put the wall against his back, a measure of defence against him and probably a sign of fear. Those signs were certainly reassuring. It meant he still had the upper hand against the boy.
Quickly dispelling the half-destroyed spell of concealment over him, Ignotus glared hard at the Oblivionite boy.
“You saw nothing,” the mage hissed, “Do you understand what I mean?”

Kilian huffed. The man talked like he was full of himself. While he looked powerful, sometimes Kilian didn't know when to be quiet. "Oh, I know what you mean." Kilian glared at the strange man. "But I'm pretty sure I don't listen to half breeds." Kilian hissed quietly. He didn't like being told what to do. Not even by his own kind. Though he tolerated it with certain people, he was not going to do so with a strange that wasn't even from around here. "What business do you have here anyway? Kilian asked, genuinely curious about the reasons as to why the hybrid would be in this place. Surely he knew he wasn't welcomed here.

Ignotus “Upstart little thing isn’t he?” Within his sleeve his companion wiggled to show his interest. Trust Informis to always verbalize Ignotus’ innermost thoughts. It was one of the things that embodied a companion-master relationship.
The master mage gritted his teeth and tamped down the urge to just summon mage-fire and incinerate the impudent whelp. Ignotus wasn’t sure the boy actually realized the hallmarks of someone who has achieved master-form, otherwise he’d know better to curb his tongue.
Clenching his fists tightly, the pale hybrid took deep breathes and counted to ten mentally to calm himself. Feeling less homicidal, the mage eyed the Oblivionite youth and sneered.
“Just because you’ve got pure blood in you whelp does not grant you the right to know my business.” Ignotus declared, his tone dark and filled with threatening promise, “And if you know what’s good for you, you’d best be scurrying off to play with your little pals in some forsaken playground.”
Before the boy could reply, Ignotus continued, “However if you decide to do something I won’t like…” The pale hybrid expounded, eyes narrowing into slits, “…you probably won’t live to regret it.”

Kilian started as a creature made itself visible from inside the man's sleeve. He had definitely not seen something like that. Before he could inquire about it he was brought back to the current situation. "Oh please." Kilian sneered. He really was a young, hot headed fool. "We both know you're not suppose to be here." Kilian crossed his arms in front of him. " Halfbreeds, he sneered. "Are not welcome here." Kilian didn't know how to shut up. Maybe it was all that had happened today. His self control was reaching its limit and he wasn't sure he could hold his temper back much longer. One too many things had happened today. Maybe he was itching for a fight. Even though he knew, in the back of his mind, that this man was much stronger than him, even if he was a halfbreed. "I was heading into the bazaar to look around. I've certainly more of a right to be here than you do." What Kilian didn't want the older man to know was that he didn't really have any true friends to hang out with. There was, of course, his cousin, but he'd just as soon gouge his eyes out than hang out with her on a daily basis.

Ignotus Inny’s head emerged from underneath his robe’s single sleeve for an instant, to look at the Oblivionite boy, before curling back up higher on Ignotus’ upper arm. “I sense an aura of defeat around the boy.” The kitsune warned Ignotus using their companion bond, “It is akin, to the kind that belong to people who have little to lose.”
“That only means, “Ignotus replied mentally back to Informis, “that if we continue to threaten his life, he’s more likely to bring us down with him.”
The master mage sighed aggrieved, bringing a hand up to massage the bridge of his nose.
The boy’s emotions were scattered all over the place; so much so, Ignotus could almost taste the urge to fight at the back of his tongue. This was yet another reason why Ignotus felt an irrational anger whenever he set foot in Soudul. An Oblivionite’s life wasn’t very sacred and suicides were high. This little hellion was probably just like all the others in this dark, be damned city.
“This halfbreed, “Ignotus stressed, “doesn’t care if you think he has right or not.”
“Iggy, “ The kitsune mentally chided his master, “You’re an adult fighting a kid.”
“Shut up.” Ignotus telepathically barked back. “I know alright.”
Setting his eyes back on the boy, Ignotus drew himself up and smirked, “You’re going to the Bazaar? Aren’t you a little too young to be trying out adult jobs? – the Bazaar will swallow you boy!”
“In any case, “the hybrid continued, “this encounter has lasted longer than I’d like. I’m heading to the Bazaar as well but my business is my own, however you are young and I don’t have the desire the fight my way out of Obsidian City. I’ll leave you to your cloud of depression….”
Sternly eying the Oblivionite and hoping even a modicum of his words would sink into that stubborn brain, “Don’t follow me.”
Ignotus spun around, cloak clutched tightly around him, his form soon blurred by a concealment spell recast and the hybrid’s outline blended amongst the shadows.

"I'm not going for a job idiot. I'm picking up supplies." Kilian replied to the halfbreed's snide remark. "And I've been there before." He could also take care of himself if need be. He wasn't some untrained fool.
Though very annoyed by his presence, Kilian was also intrigued. What business did a halfbreed have being in a city that despised his kind? Don't follow him? Kilian thought. Hah, that was like telling someone not to eat something sweet before dinner. There was no way he was going to listen to him.
Kilian watched as the halfbreed turned and started to walk away. He started to follow him into the crowds of the bazaar but had to blink as he slowly blended into the shadows and throngs of Oblivionites.
"What the..." Kilian looked down at Amadia, then back up. Where had that half breed gone? It was like he had disappeared into thin air. He was reluctant to give up. He was too curious for his own good sometimes. However, unable to even see the strange, there was no way Kilian would be able to follow him. With a grunt and a kick at the ground, he took off back home, completely forgetting that he had to go to the bazaar.
