  [/img] Prince Rilus Cuchain stood valiantly at the meeting in the castle, doomful news that the Koor were heading this very direction from their northern stronglhold. The prince laughed at the matter, the kingdom never was once close to being taken over. "Father the castle defenses are too high, theres no chance that those wretches could even find out how to open the gate. Why am I here?" He asked as the Commander of the guard responded to the Kings son. " Lord Rilus there is rumors that the barbaric Koor have aligned themselves with some dark arts, they are said to have been given great knowledge." The commander spoke ominously. Rilus just groaned and sat down at the table with the map of the surrounding area, battle plans and escape routes not interesting him at all.

 Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah Habakkuk was a harper in a traveling troupe that had been hired to perform at the castle of Prince Rilus Cuchain in a few days's time. They were only a day away from reaching the castle when they heard rumors about the Koor were planning to attack the castle. Their leader of the troupe didn't believe it and said that they will continue on their way. They have stopped for the day in a village to rest up and to relax some. Some of the troupe like Zipporah went and refreshed her supply stores in her wagon as they were low. The village was a nice place and it didn't take long to get what she needed or wanted for that matter. She returned to the campsite that they had used there before when they had been in this village. She put her items in her wagon and stored them in their appropriate spots in the wagon. Then she got her harp out to practice on a song that she wrote recently.
Zipporah was twenty and two years old and looked like she was way younger than she actually was. She was five feet tall and weigh around 115 pounds. She might be small in form but she was light on her feet and ran faster than most men. She knew how to defend herself and was able to get out of most sticky situations. Zipporah can play more instruments than just the harp. She could play the drums, guitar, lute, and the panpipes. She also had a soprano singing range voice out the group and was the main female lead in most of the songs that the troupe did. Zipporah didn't know what to think about the rumors that they had heard and hoped that they weren't true.A bird embracing....

Once the meeting had ended Prince Cuchain along with his father, and the other commanders of knights went to dinner where talks continued to stir. "If the Koor are able to over run us our people should be evacuated!" Roared first commander, his eyes angry with accepting the common people would be treated with care if the Koor took possession of the castle, since he knew how terrible the Koor were. "We must focus on fighting, the civilians can take care of themselves if we run evacuation drills before hand." The second commander fired back. "Prince Rilus, what would you do?" asked the first commander, the king remaining silent to see how well his soon would handle such a tough situation. "I guess we can do both suggestions, station a small group of knights to train and assist the common people in that time, rather than do one suggestion or the other." Rilus said speaking wisely as many nodded in agreement with his idea. Soon after dinner the Prince was finally happy to be free of those silly talks about the castle that he knew was unpenetrable. He then made his way to his large room, decorated with gold lining all over the place. He made his way to the bed and collapsed on it, his mind then wondering secretly what he would do himself if the castle was overtaken. But those thoughts were briefly pondered on.

Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah and the troupe performed at one of the taverns that night in the village. It had been a good time at the tavern and they were paid well for their services. Soon, they all headed back towards the camp to retire for what was left of the night. Zipporah entered her wagon and put her instruments away before falling asleep on her bed.
The next day arrived and the troupe got an early start to finish their journey to the castle of Prince Rilus Cuchain. They arrived around noon time and ate their midday meal before trying to enter the castle. Then all the four wagons of the troupe lined up and headed for the castle, hoping that they wouldn't have any trouble going in. There were seven people in the troupe and some shared their wagon except for Zipporah. They were let in without any problems after showing the paperworks. They were led to the stables first to store their wagons and horses there. Zipporah was surprised that the troupe were giving rooms inside the the main castle to stay while they were there. The rooms were in the servants quarter and they were not bad.
Once they were settled in their rooms, the troupe was given a tour so they would know where everything was, well what was relevant to the troupe at least. They were to perform that night for the court and went to practice after the tour was over. Zipporah was slightly nervous as they were going to perform her newest song for the first time in front of the court. She practiced with the others but had a chilling feeling that something bad was going to happen but didn't know when or where it would happen.A bird embracing....

Once the Troupe arrived, it wasn't long before a lone knight from a scouting platoon rushed up and gave news that the Koor had decimated the rest of the platoon and that they do wield a new great power. This news was responded by an immediate evacuation of the kingdom, knights directing a single file line of commoners out into the forest. The scouting knight reported that they only had six hours to get everyone out, but no one knew when things were going to get dangerous. Prince Rilus suited up and wanted to go fight the Koor but was confronted in the halls right outside of the servants quarters by other knights. "Lord Rilus the King ordered you to stay put and evacuate in the rear, not to go and try to confront the barbarians." One brave knight spoke out against the Prince. "Step aside Sir Breton, I have my honor to protect. We can't all run away." He said not planning on dying, he was confident in his abilities to join the front lines and bring victory to the kingdom. Prince Rilus' argument ended however as the lookout rung a bell that meant the enemy was advancing and that everyone had to leave now or risk being slain or enslaved.

Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah and the rest of the troupe had been practicing together when one of the knights came in and told them what had happened. The men of the troupe went on ahead to start hitching the horses to the wagons. The women got their items that they taking with them, which wasn't much as they hadn't brought up much of their luggage yet. As Zipporah continued down the servants' halls, she came across a group of knights . Then she and the others heard a bell ringing. They then heard people running in halls behind them. One of the male servants ran into her and she began to fall backwards towards Prince Rilus. She did not let go of her harp case as it held her first harp that her grandfather gave her and wasn't going to lose it now. (Feel free to catch her from falling all the way down to the floor, lol.) A bird embracing....

Prince Rilus had gotten tired of arguing with the other knights and began moving forward through the crowds of scared servants rushing down the halls. His eyes then catching a glimpse of Zipporah who was thrown off balance by a fearful servant. He extended his arms out as the woman fell right into them. "Careful, it isn't wise to be so slow. Don't you know which way the exit is?" He questioned the woman, he himself was trying to ford through the hall of busy people. His plan to put his life on the line for his people, but now he had this woman who he hadn't seen before. He figured she was either lost, or just new to the castle, either way now he had to help her.

Zipporah Habakkuk "Thank ye for keeping me from falling the rest of the way down to the floor kind sir."Zipporah said after he caught her in his arms. She wasn't sure who she was speaking to since everything had happened so fast. Zipporah regain her balance and stood on her own again. "Aye, a little lost as I got separated from the other two women in my troupe. We just arrived not long ago and hadn't had to the chance to memorized the pathways of the castle yet. The rest of my troupe will be waiting for me at the stables. Do you know the quickest way to get there from here?"Zipporah asked him, wondering if he knew where he was going in this crowd of people. If he hadn't caught her when he did, Zipporah knew that she would be under the feet of the other people passing by right now. A bird embracing.... (Just wondering, what race are the Koor like? Are they Vikings, Huns, Africans, Chinese, Russians, Native Americans? )

The crowds of people rushed by them, few pushing by them since Prince Rilus stood there. Rilus looked at her for a moment taking in what she was saying. He wanted to go fight on the front lines but couldn't stand the thought of leaving a confused woman to the mercy of the northern savages that could reach the castle any moment. "I see that your having trouble finding the stables, well no worries maiden, just hold on." The Prince said taking action into his own hands as he grabbed her and flung her up on his shoulder. He then charged and through panicked citizens as he found them a flight of stairs to rush down. He hastened quickly until he came upon ground level the stables insight. Just as the bells rang more frequent which meant the enemy was just about a mile away. The Prince then set the woman down. "Hurry Run!" The Prince then yelled. ((I was thinking Vikings/Huns. More like uncivilized barbarians))

(Just wondering,if we go with the Vikings then I do have a twist to add if you're game for it. It does have to deal her grandfather and that harp he given her. The one that she is carrying on her person at the moment, if she doesn't let go of it by accident when Rilus carries her over his shoulder. LOL!!! I liked that you had him do that. let me know if you want to hear the rest of it. It shouldn't change much what we had talked about doing, me thinks. Rp reply to come soon. *Edited: About to leave the house for a while so I don't know when I will be back on. )

Zipporah Habakkuk When Zipporah asked the knight to help her, she certainly did not expect him to pick her up and carry her over his shoulders! Of all things, but it wasn't a time to complain about as them were in a hurry. She almost lost her harp case but managed to hold on to it with one one. Soon they were outside the castle and she heard the bells ringing harder and more frequently. Next she heard someone calling her name. Zipporah turn to find Tobias with her wagon ready to go along with his. Khazri wasn't with him, she notice before heading towards Tobias."Hey, come with me this way! My wagon is ready to go." Zipporah said to the knight, grabbing his hand in hers and pulling him her way."Thanks Tobias for waiting for me here and having my wagon ready to go." She said as she put the harp inside the wagon and then climbed up in the wagon seat and took the reins from Tobias. He told her quickly where the troupe was planning to meet up at and some other details in in case they got separated some how. then Zipporah looked back at the knight and and wondered if he was going to go his own way or continue with her."Come with me if you like to sir knight, I thank you for your help earlier. Better decide quick before things get worse..."Zipporah said before seeing flames coming from the tallest tower of the castle. She couldn't see who it was but it was Khazri. He was a a half blooded Koor and a wizard at that. He began send fireballs down ath the people in the courtyard.A bird embracing....
