 Zeph trotted along a well beaten path in the forest, letting it lead him anywhere it choose. It was mid-afternoon and this little Zangoose was bored. It was getting stale around his home, so why not go out and explore? Yet, so far this road was pretty boring too... No adventure, no cute babes. What was he suppose to do with his life now? He scoffed a bit, as he decided to sit down and take a break. Finding himself resting against a tree, letting some sun heat up his coat.

 Elin darted from tree to tree in the forest by her home. She gave each trunk a quick walk around before dashing off to the next one. Each time her eyes narrowed and her hopeful smile became a discouraged frown. It turned back up, however, as she moved on to the nearest tree.
The next tree Elin moved toward she changed her pattern. Instead of inspecting the trunk, her eyes were glued to the branches above. Even while making her circuit of the plant, Elin's head was pointed upward. So it was that she did not see the other fox before tripping over him.
"Oof," she exhaled as her body hit the ground. Quickly twisting around, Elin sent a glare at the stranger. "What the heck was that for?" In her mind it was all his fault; despite her own crime of not watching where she was going. Then again, had she tripped on a root she would have blamed it.

Zeph's eyes had just shut and his mind was wandering off to dreamland. It was far more exciting then whatever was happening around him right now anyway. A small smirked appeared over his muzzle as he slept. Lot's of hot babes where giggling and having a great time on the beach. He was just about to join then when something crashed into him. Was he under attack!? He was so alarmed, looking around with widen eyes for the source. It seemed a little lady tumbled into him, maybe the real world could be interesting after all.
He gave another slick smile, before talking to the girl. "Weeeellll, hello there cutie." He stood up and practically trotted around the her, hoping there was something that she liked.

With cautious curiosity Elin watched the male as he moved around. He didn't seem injured. In fact, he seemed all too pleased to have had Elin stumble over him. This realization caused Elin to cling to her indignation when she addressed him.
"Yeah, hi," Elin said, her words clipped and filled only with annoyance. "What the heck were you doing laying around? You could have seriously injured me." Her tail flicked with agitation as she waited for an answer.
Something about the way he looked at her reminded Elin of when her dads thought they were alone. She had to suppress a shudder at the memories that conjured. Still, if that look meant the same thing... Suddenly Elin's body warmed. It was an odd sensation that she quickly ignored finding it made her feel embarrassed for no reason.

He heard her annoyed tone of voice immediately and was hurt! How could such a lovely little lady already be so brash with him. Hopefully some more smooth talk would heal her up a bit. After all he was just looking for a good time... We'll that's what he though until she continued. She was blaming him for her accident? To say he was puzzled was an understatement. People where free to nap where ever they wanted.
"I would never try and hurt a lady on purpose... Maybe you should watch where your going. I could of been anything and the same things would of happened. A tree root, a stump, anything really." He pointed out, his face almost grimace as he seemed to lecture her. He didn't like being like this, but to prove his innocence he would have to. Quickly after he returned to his relaxed and cool demeanor, things where much better like this.

Elin pouted, her eyes ablaze. She didn't like being told the accident was her fault. She hated it especially because it was true and she knew it. Her scowl showed her mind working as she debated it it was worth arguing. It looked as if neither one was truly injured so Elin had no reason to continue the debate.
She took a breath, hoping to calm herself knowing that she would not swallow her pride easily. "All right. I'm sorry I tripped over you. You're not hurt, right?" Elin hoped that maybe the male was injured in some invisible way so that she could replace humiliation with guilt. She took a moment to double check that the stranger wasn't obviously hurt. Doing so also caused Elin to take in his full appearance. Her body warmed again. What's wrong with me? Her pout was back, but now it was joined by a light blush on her cheeks.

He watched as anger twisted through her face. What was she so worked up about? It was an accident, and it could be left at that... Well at least that how he felt about it.
He gave a chummy little smile as she apologized and seemed to give up on the topic. Living the easy life, it was just so much... easier. "Yeah, I'm fine darling. I hope you are too. It would be a crying shame, for such a cutie to be harmed." He nodded with a bit of a wink. No shame, but maybe it was working for him after all. Did he spot a little blush on her face? "My name is Zeph!" He said abrupt and proudly. He still didn't have the pleasure of knowing her name, so he took it upon himself for introductions.

Elin smiled, unable to deny the pleasantness of being complimented, but forced out a scoff to show that his flirtations weren't completely working. She bit her cheek to try to stop the smile. "I'm fine too," Elin muttered unsure if he actually wanted a response.
"Oh, right. My name's Elin." She watched him wearily, unsure what he'd do next. "So.. Zeph, what were you doing lying around like that?" Elin didn't bother to think that she might be harping on that topic a bit too much. It was an important matter in her mind at the moment. At least she wasn't trying to blame him for the incident anymore.
