A few more hours sleep and some coffee had finished patching Jordan's nerves back together, and once he'd gotten dressed again, he'd gone looking for Jerry; he still felt bad about what he'd said, and he wanted to offer his friend a better apology than the snarling, grudging one from earlier.
Jerry looked bad, Jordan thought when he found him, out on the training fields. Had Jerry slept? He suspected not. The strung-out, blank, grim look on Jerry's face was worrisome.
Jordan moved into Jerry's range of vision, keeping his hands in sight, open and empty at his sides. "I was wrong," he said, without preamble.

Jerry had eaten by then, but it hadn't picked up his mood much. Roar insisted he needed sleep, but he was on duty again not too long from now so what was the point? At Jordan's sudden call, he jumped, but slumped a bit and looked back to the piles of wreckage he still needed to clean up from his earlier rampages. "Oh," He mumbled, "Hi."

"I wanted to apologize." Jordan looked over to the piles of ex-training-dummy parts. " ... Want a hand getting that cleared up?"

"It's alright," Jerry sighed, wobbling upright and brushing himself off, "I've got it."

"You look completely wiped out. Let me help." Jordan moved to start in on one of the piles without waiting for Jerry to agree; he gave him a troubled look. "Sorry, man. I shouldn't have made assumptions earlier."

"I've been sober for months now, I can't even remember..." He sighed, shaking his head, "I don't blame you. I don't really have the best track record. And I didn't really help matters any by trying to help." The wheelbarrow waited by the shed for the debris, and he quietly made his way over. "I've got Pod Duty after this. I'm probably going to pass out."

"I was tired and angry, and when I saw you in the cell - yeah, it was dumb. You haven't had problems for months, I know that," Jordan said, and sighed. He scooped debris into the wheelbarrow. "At least pod duty's nice and quiet. Want me to shoot you a text when your shift's about over so you don't get caught napping?"

Jerry cracked a smile, at least, flushing a bit, "That would be great, thanks." His expression fell again as he carefully picked up handfuls of wreckage. Finally, though, he shook his head, "What the h-hell is Busking anyway?? And why's there a law against it? And why didn't anyone TELL me!"

"Got it. Alarm clock on duty." Jordan smiled sideways. He tossed another double handful of shattered dummy into the wheelbarrow, his eyebrows arching at the revelation of what exactly Jerry had been arrested for. "Performing in a public place for profit. Usually music. Y'know, like street musicians at train stations with the hat set out. The law probably differs with location."

"I hadn't even gotten the CHANCE! Ridiculous. I'd never in my LIFE been arrested before." The flush was back, but he seemed to loosen up a bit more since the ice had been broken.

He snorted, before giving a proper laugh, "I keep meaning to just... take a day trip somewhere. But there's never been time. Venice beach would be fun, you have to admit. I bet I could cover all my costs with some good Busking shenanigans."

"Venice Beach is pretty great. All colors and flavors. You could probably make some good cash there," Jordan agreed, chuckling. "Just, y'know, check the local regulations beforehand first. I miss beaches with actual sunlight, myself."

"I certainly wouldn't have chosen Scotland. But it'll do me some good to get out, I think." He set the wheelbarrow down and scanned the ground. Roar was certainly effective at splintering wooden targets. It would be impossible to pick up everything. "Would you be interested in going with me?"

"Sure. Sounds like fun." Jordan kept the part about and I can keep an eye on you to make sure you don't get in trouble again to himself; he'd offended Jerry once already today and he was pretty sure that would do it again. He looked over the debris that remained on the ground. "That'll compost," he decided.
