Many years past after professor X started his school for gifted children. Now the future is here with a vision so bad even the professor didn't expect. Civil war. The humans, growing uneasy to the point of no longer accepting, has waged war upon the mutans via an army of robots, mercenaries, bounty hunters and more. Rather unwillingly the brotherhood and X-Men had to fourm an alliance of shakey peace and set aside diffrences to stay alive. They still stick to their groups and identify as X-men or brotherhood. They may work together but still keep their beliefs. So where will you stand?

Orginaly a group Rp but Im curious to see how it will faire as a 1x1. Can make as many charaters as you can keep up with. Yes its like an apocalypse kinda rp, so some towns can be destroyed and wastelands. biggrin

Zack yawned as he wandered aimlessly through the shadowed streets, it was evening, and though it wasn't exactly late, thick storm clouds had blotted out the suns final attempts at illumination, before showering the earth with fat drops of water. Zack smirked, he enjoyed the rain, the sound of it bouncing of the floor, the gentle coolness of it against his skin, it's fresh scent, and even it's clear taste, with an audible chuckle Zack ducked into a hotels awning, it was a fancy place, though it's walls were dotted with anti mutant posters, wanted photo's, and information about a hunting party "savages" Zack muttered under his breath as he crouched down low "how are you holding up buddy" he smiled into his jacket, from somewhere within the folds a dog whined, Zack's face lit up with joy "hey come on" he began as he lowered a piece of dried meat into his jacket "the rain will be over soon" he smiled as the dog took the food obediently, realising his conversation had drawn a few uneasy glances Zack stood up before carrying onwards into the rain.

The town wasn't too large, enough to make it's name on the map worthwhile, but it's people still hearkened that of a generic, close minded town, the place was paranoid, mutant hunts being called almost nightly, and anti mutant posters covering almost every available surface, the voices of the few who sympathised with mutant kind were quickly, and occasionally violently drowned out by the swirling mass of the ignorant and fearful, even the recent bad weather had been blamed on mutant activity, the general consensus was to be suspicious of all new comers, regardless of who they were.

Taking a left of the main street Zack continued towards the treeline, maybe he could find some shelter from the rain, smiling softly his feet left the hard concrete and stepped onto the soft earth "see almost there" he grinned as he held the little dog closer to him, Zack looked up into the sky and let the rain drops fall onto him, they dripped through his brown hair and trickled over the red marks on his face, chuckling he found a dry patch under a particularly large tree before setalling down, maybe tonight the rain would lessen...

Despite the pouring rain, the harsh wind, and the threat of being discovered by hunters, Zachery had somehow managed to fall asleep, huddled within the folds of his own jacket he snored lightly, though he was still the small dog within his jacket growled softly, it paused and sniffed the air before letting out a short sharp bark, as if a switch had been flicked Zack was awake "shut up" he hissed at the dog as he pulled himself to his feet, a sense of urgency in his movements, Zack had previously been cornered by a hunting party a few towns back, it was an experience he wished not to reencounter. Up above the heavens rumbled with a roll of thunder, the weather truly was terrible, out of season, and fast approaching flood conditions. Snapping back to focus Zack crouched low, all five of his senses highly tuned as he tried to locate the potential threat "weird" he muttered to himself as he cocked his head, hunting parties normally consisted of at least five well armed men, all tooled up with guns, flares, knives, they were a rather fearsome thing, but Zack could only sense two beings, patting his dog on the head Zack crept forward "good boy" he muttered as he snuck through the shadowed trees.

It wasn't long before he drew close to two figures in the darkness, quietly Zack watched as they made their way through the rain, they didn't seem hostile, but the adverse weather made judgement on such a thing difficult, taking another step forward Zack was taking extra care to be as quiet as possible, however, the small dog tucked within his jacket had other ideas, once again it let out a small, sharp bark, eyes widening in shock Zack spun behind a tree "shut up, shut up" he hissed again, the dog flinching at the hissed words, Zack's eyes remained widened with what was now becoming an expression of fear, as all he could do was wait to see if he had gone unnoticed.

Exhaling quietly Zack calmed himself down, they sounded more like travelers than bloodthirsty hunters, spying on the pair he watched as the male turned himself into a dog, smirking he tilted his head "ahh" he muttered as he ducked back behind the tree, pausing to work up courage he stood up once more "You know it's worth taking shelter for the night" he said loud enough for the pair to hear "the next town isn't exactly fond of mutants" he added as he stuck to his hiding place "they always organise a hunt on nights like this" he continued calmly "pretty brutal if you ask me" he shrugged as he stuck behind the tree, jsut in case

With a small chuckle Zack stepped out from behind the tree "being able to step out without being attacked" he grinned "what a novelty" he snickered as he ran a hand through his brown hair "so you guys are traveling" he grinned cheerfully "we're kinda doing that too" he smiled, as if on cue the little white dog poked it's head out from his jacket and barked once, with a small chuckle Zack grinned "so where are you guys headed" he asked casually

Zack's ears pricked up at the group name "X-person" he questioned "as in X-men" he asked, a small smirk of familiality coming to his face, it was nice to have an easy conversation for once, placing the small dog on the ground he chuckled as he dug around in his pockets "I think I've got a" pausing he pulled something out of his pocket "aha" he exclaimed as he broke a dog biscuit in two "You like these" he asked as he tossed it towards Mark "I've tried them before" he admitted as he dropped the other half next to his dog "i thought they tasted pretty naff" he chuckled happily

Laughing Zack sat against a nearby tree, it had been a while since he last laughed properly, sometimes with all the running, hiding, and fighting, it was easy to forget what enjoyment felt like "I'm Zack" Zack nodded at Sparrow, a small smile on his face, his Dog wandered over tentatively towards the biscuit, placing it's head in it's paws it looked towards mark, as if waiting for permission "We've been wandering a while now" Zack nodded with a short smile
