The Crystal Catacombs is one of the most favored locations in all of Tsukigakure. It is located within the valley of a mountain lining the crescent island. There is a single opening on the roof of the catacombs which allows moonlight to pass through. During the daytime there is nothing special, but when night falls the caves light up in a beautiful shade of green. There are thousands of crystals that line the walls, floors, and ceilings of the cave. They reflect the moonlight and send it throughout the entirety of the cave, creating a wonderful scene to behold.

「Hazukiro "Froggy" Yoshikawa 」
"Laughter is the best Medicine!"
╔══════════════════════════════╗
Hiking for a good while in the morning light Hazukiro was still full of pep on his first mission. Following the signs that directed tourists towards the catacombs Hazukiro finally reached he found the entrance to his destination. Before going in he noticed someone laying unconscious on the ground. Rushing over to the tourist he attempted to wake them up. "Are you okay!?" The person groaned then rubbed their head "Ugh...Wha, what happened?"."I think you were a victim of a group of thieves attacking tourists, when did you go in?" Coughing and standing up the tourist said "Last night...thieves, oh my father's necklace, it's gone!" The young man looked all over for it checking ever pocket. "It's been in my family since our genealogy was was recorded." Hazukiro then said in a stern voice "I'll find it, wait here!".
Before going down Hazukiro changed into his frog costume .The tourist tilted their head and sighed in disappoint. "Ever fear, Froggy is here!" Forming the proper hand signs he summoned Gamatatsu and Gamakichi. In a poof of smoke the appeared. Gamakichi waved and said "Yo Boss!" then Gamatatsu added "Gamakichi, froggy do any of you have a snack?". "Is that all you think of Gamatasu?" Gamakichi said. A drop of sweat and a vein appeared on Hazukiro head. "Guys, we need to focus, we have some thieves to take care of!". "Easy Boss, we'll help you!". Both frogs jumped on each of his shoulders. Winking at the tourist he headed down the catacombs. "So these are the crystal caves, not too impressive!" Hazukiro replied back "It's suppose to be beautiful in the moonlight, focus guys, we are looking for thieves and a necklace, I promised!".
Scanning around Hazukiro looked for any signs of the thieves that were suppose to be in somewhere. Focusing his chakra Hazukiro used the Mind's Eye of the Kagura technique. Now he could sense any chakra signatures in the cave. "Got em!" Following the signatures he now had an idea of where they were. Going through several passageways Hazukiro started to walk more quietly. Gamatatsu added in his regular voice "I'm hungry!". Hazukiro struggled to cover his mouth but it was too late. Two thieves appeared in front of them but there was one more who was running away from the trio. Smirking both thieves, pointing and laughing at Hazukiro's appearance, rushed at the three of them. "You guys know what to do, we have to do this quick Gamakichi let's heat things up!". Gamakichi nodded as Hazukiro prepared more oil.
The thieves ran across the side of the walls, they were obvious able to use chakra. As the threw kunai at Froggy Gamatatsu launched the water gun jutsu to deflect the projectiles "Nice Gamatasu, we'll give you a nice snack afterwards!" Gamakichi added. Almost within striking distance Hazukiro Spewed "Toad Oil Bullet!" covering both thieves in the oil, slipping around they still managed to stab Hauzkiro. "You guys won't attack the boss like this!" Gamakichi unleashed the flame bullet technique just after Hazukiro created a barrier with the Ram's head jutsu. Both of them rolled around covered in flames, passing out. Standing up Hazukirp pulled out the kunai from his arms. "We still have one more to track down let's do it!"
They continued down the cave by the bodies quickly turning into ash. Still using the tracking jutsu he finally reached a dead end with the thieve trapped or so Hazukiro thought. Soon the entrance shut and it was realized by Froggy that the enemy knew earth style based attacks. "Got you kid, you're going to die here...!""Just give me the necklace and I won't kill you!" "No dice kid, time to die!" Below Hazukiro felt the ground look like it was swallowing him."Not good" Opening his mouth Hazukiro extended his tongue with the whip of love. Pulling himself up he escaped,"Not bad, bad Costume though!" Hazukiro followed the thief along the wall. Hazukiro was unable to keep up with the ninja.
Focusing his chakra he spewed a silvery on the roof "But boss!" Gamakichi added in. "You two get out with the shrinking jutsu then the summon, when you here the boom alright!" They both nodded and shrunk themselves in order to exit out the cave which was mostly blocked. "Now let's get down to business...." Hazukiro barely had any chakra left "You can't beat me kid, your frogs may of escaped but I won't let you!". Letting the thief land another physical attack in his right shoulder, Hazukiro took the time to rip the necklace from the thieves neck. "You're dead kid!" Hazukiro smiled looking above the both of them at the silvery liquid. "Fire style Dragon Fire jutsu!" Spewing fire from his mouth not at the target but the celing which caught the flame and exploded. Just as the boom was heard Gamakichi used the reverse summoning jutsu and Hazukrio appeared battered and bleeding.
"Are you okay boss?" Gamakichi asked."Yeah..." Hazukiro's breathing was labored. Reaching out of his pocket he handed the tourist their necklace. The man almost teared up "Thank you, thank you for getting it for me, truly." Takashi in his ripped costume stood up "Think nothing of it!" He flashed a smile "I'd like to stay but I have to report back to the Kage." . Turning to his summons "Guys go rest,we'll go out for ramen and flies okay, thanks for helping me!". They both smiled "Sounds good boss, let's go Gamatatsu!" Both of them disappeared in a poof of smoke and Hideaki headed back to the Kage's office.

Passives
:• [Sage Mode] The users of the Summoner Class are able to tap into Sage mode as well as learn full contracts. • [Single Contract Master] The user specializes in a single contract. All of their summonings are one rank stronger than what they would normally be at the same costs. • Chakra Suppression This ability allows the user to suppress their chakra to the point that it is completely undetectable. This makes it impossible for sensor-type shinobi to track them via chakra. The downside of this ability is that since the user suppresses their chakra they are unable to use sense other targets. • 35% Chakra reduction to chakra based techniques • Ability to sense chakra, no matter how away in the thread they are. • Can suppress own chakra to become 'invisible' to other sensors.
Luka had been home resting at home, recovering from a battle with a rogue shinobi. He had not been badly hurt but did receive a burn that scorched his muscles. The medical team that had put him back together ordered him to rest for a few days, much to Luka's dismay. He absolutely loathed being inactive. Day in and day out he watched as his family donned their gear and set out to carry out their daily rituals. They would each return home, sometimes covered in the blood of their enemies, sometimes with large grins upon their faces. Luka's little sister was the only one who brought him some sort of solace in his days of late. One day she would become a great kunoichi, a brutal warrior, and one of Lord Jashin's favorites. Luka watched as she would return home from her schooling at the Academy, bloodied and battered. But she never showed any exhaustion or annoyance at her daily activities. Hell, most of the time the blood wasn't even hers. Her trainers had begun to send reports home with her of her prowess and quick advancement through their tests. It seemed as if Jana wanted nothing more than to show up everyone in the world. In other words she was like a girl version of Luka. Jana was only eleven years old and already as brutal as her big brother.
Luka was sitting at home, flexing his muscles and feeling the strain and tensing of each tendon. This had put him into such a mood recently that he had withdrawn into his room. It had been exactly nintey three hours since his last sacrifice to Jashin. Luka could feel the favor slipping through his fingers. He had been there in his room, kneeling before the symbol of Jashin in silent prayer when his younger sibling came home. "Luka! I have great news!" Jana shouted as she burst into Luka's room. She looked very similar to him, only much prettier. She was a slight girl with the same red eyes and fiery hair as Luka. But where Luka was more rough and brutish Jana was soft. She had yet to fill out as a young girl, though Luka preferred it that way. There would be little who would be worthy of his sister's affection, and all too many who would vie for it. It was only a matter of time before Luka would have to shadow her and fight off the boys and girls with a stick or an explosion. Luka rose to his feet and raised an eyebrow at his boisterous sister, wondering what could have caused such excitement within her. "The Crystal Catacombs! Some of the tunnels have collapsed because of triggered explosions! They think its more bandits!" Luka stared at her and shrugged his shoulders, turning to the mirror in his room as he prodded and poked at the burn mark upon his arm. It swirled around and covered much of his biceps. The medics had offered to clear his body of the wound, but Luka wanted to keep it as a reminder of his mistakes in battle. In the mirror Luka saw his sister poke her head around his body and stare at him through the mirror. He grunted and stepped to the side, trying his best to ignore her.
Like a game of wack a mole his sister continued to poke around, constantly gazing at him in the mirror. Luka soon got annoyed and turned, grabbing his sister by both arms. "What, do, you, want?" He said, shaking her softly with each word. There was no way in hell he'd try to hurt her, and even now he was not truly upset with Jana. The coy girl smirked and spoke quickly, tripping over her words due to her excitement. "Mother says I can go help if YOU come along! Luka, do it for Jashi-" Before she could even get her words out Luka covered her mouth and released her. He turned and crossed his arms over his chest. His arm was mostly in tact, as long as he did not strain himself he should be fine. And Jana had a point, Jashin required sacrifices. "You better follow my lead Jana, mother would have my heart if you came back in pieces. Again." Luka said with a wry smile as he grabbed his gear, rushing out of his house with his younger sister.
It took them a few minutes to make it to the catacombs, but when they arrived the scene was hectic. There were workers, civilians, and shinobi all standing around like sheep. Luka grabbed his little sister's hand and tugged her along through the people, cutting through them like a hot knife through flesh. When he found someone wearing one of the signature chuunin flak jackets Luka spoke up and reported in. "Luka and Jana Jaeger, reporting for duty. Send me in." Luka said, not caring what the situation was. The chuunin raised an eyebrow and looked down at him and the girl clinging to his arm. "Aren't you on medical leave?" The chuunin asked as he directed a group of people away. Luka shook his head and snorted in annoyance. "Of course not, I do not need to recover as others do. Let me in." Luka said, pushing past the chuunin. The guy placed a hand on his shoulder, and Jana quickly grasped the man's wrist. Luka smirked and turned around, motioning for Jana to release the man. "Listen, I can clear any debris with a controlled blast. I can destroy the bandits and lead the hostages to safety. Let. Me. In." Luka said, maneuvering Jana away from the man. The chuunin eyed the two of them with annoyance and then shrugged. "Go ahead, if you die it's no sweat off my back." Luka smirked and moved on again. When he made it inside of the catacombs he released Jana and knelt down in front of his sister. "I know you are capable, just try and follow my lea-" Janna quickly slapped her hands together to create a mini explosion that made Luka lose his balance. He shouted in surprise and tried to stop himself from falling over. When the dust cleared he caught a glimpse of Jana's little legs turning a corner. "Jana! Get back here!" Luka shouted as he rose to his feet and sprinted down the corridor.
Luka tried to catch up with the girl but she was like a cross between a squirrel and jack rabbit. "Jana!" Luka shouted as he pounded down the pathways. There were so many ways to turn and only the light of these crystals to show him the way. He growled in anger as he came to a fork in the path. Left or right, left or right? Luka stopped moving for a second and used his ears, listening to any noises, The left path was as silent as the night, save for the dripping of water. The right though... Luka knelt down and touched the ground, raising his fingers to see a layering of dust on the ground. A whoosh of air came down the path and the faint sound of a bang. That had to be Jana clearing a way through the debris. He took off once more, rounding the corner and seeing a huge pile of rocks before him. Right at the top there was a little opening just about the size of Jana. Luka gritted his teeth and began to climb the rocks. When he made it to the top he placed his right hand on the rocks below him and let off a very small explosion. Some of the rocks blew inward and the opening grew larger. Luka squeezed himself through the opening and rolled down the other side.
"Jana! Jana!, Jan-" Luka had been walking and calling his sister's name, but stopped when he heard multiple voices. There was the scuffling of feet and harsh voices. "Let go of me!' Jana's voice cut clear through the deeper ones, almost making Luka crap himself. He would get into serious trouble if his sister was damaged. Not only that, but surely Lord Jashin would look down on him with a frown for letting one of his own followers, and kin to Luka, fall to heathens and blasphemers. Luka stopped running and suddenly began to move with the grace of a dancer. His steps barely made a single noise against the earthen floor as he approached. Once more Luka heard voices, this time they were questioning. "Lord Jashin will enjoy my sacrifices today!" Jana shouted as she struggled to be released from her captor's hold. Luka popped his head around the corner and was finally able to see the entire scene.
There were five of the rogue ninja surrounding Jana, and one of them was holding her down. She was unable to use her hands to make contact with anything, which was why she had yet to make some noise and explosions. The little girl was twisting and snarling like a beast, but to no avail. Jana was so tiny compared to these guys. Luka had half a mind to let her get hurt in order to teach her a lesson, but the words of one of the men stirred him into action. Luka quickly crawled out and bent his knees in his animal stance. He focused chakra to his arm and gritted his teeth, feeling his muscles strain with the movement. Luka lunged forward in silence, sticking his hand straight forward. In a sudden burst of blood, squelching noises, and grunts, Luka's hand shot from the chest of his target. The group of ninja quickly turned at the sounds. Luka held the heart of the first man in his hand. He suddenly stood up, towering over the fellow. "Normally I would not care if you would harm a girl, or abuse her. But this is my little sister!" Luka shouted at the end, gripping the heart as he caused a minor explosion. The organ erupted in his hands, sending bits and pieces everywhere. It was in that instant that all hell broke out. The ninja quickly got into position and rushed Luka. The Jaegerbomb ripped his arm out of the guy's chest and kicked his body forward. It slammed into the charging ninja, giving Luka a brief moment of respite. When the first man made it to him and swung Luka had already entered the Wing Chun stance. He backhanded the blow away from himself and stepped forward, never breaking stance. His right fist flew out and smashed into the guy's face, followed by another, and another, and another until the man was an unrecognizable soup of red.
Luka had spent way too much time on one guy and received a harsh kick to his ribs. The blow was strong enough to lift him off of the guy and made him tumble to the side. He quickly rolled with the motion and brought his arms up just in time to catch the foot of his assailant. Luka leaned forward and wrapped both hands around the foot, giving a sharp twist as he rolled forward. A snap echoed loudly along with the cry of the man who began to fall. Luka balled his hand into a fist and began to rise to his full height, pushing off of the ground with all his strength. "For Jashin!' Luka drove his fist right into the chin of the man with such brutal strength his head snapped backward and the man crumpled to the floor.
The soft slide of a blade coming forth from a sheath had Luka instinctively reaching for his kopesh. The scuffing of feet upon the ground and rustling of clothes as the man struck out alerted Luka to his movements. Luka ducked his head and twirled away, reducing the slash to nothing more than a flesh wound. By then he had his kopesh up and he was able to used the curved portion of the blade to catch the katana. Luka tried to twist the blade but his arm suddenly stiffened. His fingers loosened and the kopesh dropped. The man wasted no time in grasping his blade with both hands and twisting the blade. The man stepped forward to add power to his slice which might have taken Luka's head clean off. Instead Luka leaned as far backward as he could and reached down with his other hand to catch the falling weapon. The blade of his enemy slashed his throat, spilling blood all over the place. For a moment they froze as his enemy believed he had won. Luka smiled and twirled, raising his kopesh skyward. The tip of the blade caught the man underneath the chin and pierced right through it. The surprise of the man was evident on his face, stuck in a scream of terror.
Luka stood triumphantly for a moment until a small grunt escaped his throat. He looked down at a spear sticking out of his chest. He rolled his eyes and jiggled the kopesh out of the head of his latest kill. Luka brought the kopesh down on the spear and broke it, walking forward to pull it out of him. When he turned he could see the fear in the man's eyes. As Luka walked forward to end his life, the man croaked out a few words. "What are you!?" He said just before stumbling and landing on his rear. Luka slowed his steps for theatrics and spread his arms outward. "I am nothing more than a tool for the one true Lord, Jashin. I am one of the few harbingers of his blessing. I merely send a message." Luka said, coming to a halt at the feet of the man he was about to slay. The guy whimpered and shook his head. Luka nodded his own and reached forward, grasping the man by his hair. With little struggle he maneuvered the man and his kopesh so that he could cleanly take his head off. "Lord Jashin, I take this man's life in your name. Grant me your favor and keep me in your graces." Luka said, suddenly sliding his hand to the left and upward. The head came right off. Luka felt the blood of his victim slowly dripping down his chest in little rivulets. He felt himself smile and he took in a deep breath, basking in his victories.
Luka's attention was grabbed again as he remembered where he was and what he was supposed to be doing. "Take your own head, or I'll take hers!" Luka wheeled around quickly, a head in his hand as well as his bloodied blade. The man was holding a small ball of light in his hands, one that had arcs of flames jutting out from it. He gripped the head and gritted his teeth. Jana was being held by her hair, but there was no pain on her face. There was no fear in her eyes, only a hint of annoyance. Luka's lip twitched in a smile as he complied. "No, wait! I'll do it!" Luka said as he dropped the head and brought the kopesh to his neck. With a short chop, Luka's head came right off. He dropped his kopesh and dropped to his knees, his head rolling to the floor. The man sighed with relief, until Luka's body stood back up. "Turn around now! To the left, no the other way!" Luka's head shouted at his body. The body was trying to pick his head back up. The man's shock was so strong he froze in fear. Then his eyes bulged outward was his stomach exploded. Jana reached her hand down from it and shook the blood away. "You really didn't have to take your head, now look at you!" She said as she moved away from the cadaver she had created. Luka's body shrugged and he picked up his head, turning it around to look at his own body. "It was funny though, no?" He said as he reached for the first head he chopped off. Luka plopped it on his neck and looked at his sister with the head of some other guy. Luka waved his hands through the air and danced a jig. As he stopped the head rolled off the side, making Jana giggle with joy. "You'll scare the medic, put your head back on!" She said as she skipped over to her brother. Luka plopped his head down on his neck and knelt down to his sister. "Jana, what do we say to the God of Death?" He said, raising his eyebrow and looking at her expectantly. Jana smiled softly and brought her hand up to Luka's chest. She drew a circle and then an upside down triangle, the symbol o Jashin, in the blood on his chest. "We say, Thank you Lord Jashin for the chance to sacrifice for you. Grant me your favor, and keep me in your graces, my Lord." Jana said with a smile. Luka smiled back at her and patted her on the shoulder.
It took a few more minutes for the medics to arrive, and they immediately started on Luka. He sat patiently as they scrubbed his body clean to make sure nothing got infected. They poked and prodded at his neck to make sure the cut had been clean enough to easily reattach his head. "I can still help, let me clear the rubble." Luka said once he was all patched up. The medics cleared him for active duty and led him to the rest of the collapsed tunnels. For the next few hours Luka and Jana helped the team of civilians and ninja clear the path those who were trapped. Once everything was over with Luka and Jana walked home hand in hand, singing a little song about nesting dolls and death.
"The killing is for Lord Jashin. The suffering- well, that's for me."

Reiko looked at her arm and then rummaged around in her backpack for a book she had recently borrowed from the library she worked as an archivist at. She'd expected herself to get injured. The only question was when, where, and how. Now that she was injured, she had a chance to teach herself medical jutsus.
• Diagnosis The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is performed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds.
Reiko flipped to the first jutsu and read to herself, "Diagnosis. The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill…," the description of the jutsu. Her eyes scanned the hand seals, seals that she recognized being used by Yuri many times before and then looked at her arm. Her arm was visibly impaled by a large splinter. She couldn't see needing to diagnose her injury, but it also couldn't hurt. Gingerly, to keep the splinter in her arm from being lodged further in, the girl pulled off the handsigns needed for the Diagnosis technique and then running the hand of the arm not injured over the injury. The chakra Reiko sent into her arm with her hand returned to her hand with a series of signals foreign to her. She had to maintain the technique for well over ten minutes to decipher the meaning of each feeling, heavily referencing her book in the process. Finally, though, she determined that the signals simply meant the only thing wrong with her was there was a large splinter in her arm. [Diagnosis learned]
• Extraction When a patient's body has a foreign object in it, such as the point of a shuriken, a senbon needle, or an arrow, it is important to remove the object without further harming the patient. Using this technique the medical nin places their hands on either side of the injured area and uses chakra to very carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues in order to remove the object without causing any further damage. Depending on the severity of the wound and nature of the object, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to remove it.
After diagnosing her problem, Reiko flipped over to the table of contents to pick out a solution for it. She ended up flipping back to the jutsu explained right after Diagnosis, Extraction. As someone who had decided to become a medic shinobi from her academy years and had a medic shinobi as a guardian, Reiko already knew the healing hands technique that formed the basis of the medical class. Before she could patch up her wound, though, she needed to take the splinter out, and from her many run-ins with injuries combined with her self-treatment, Reiko already knew how much trouble improperly taking out a foreign object embedded in her arm could be. More than once has she caused more injury to herself by taking something out incorrectly. Following the same process she had used to learn Diagnosis, Reiko learned Extraction. She cast the hand signs and then very carefully started manipulating her chakra in the way that the book directed. Through her chakra, she controlled her tissues so they could gently push the splinter out. The task turned out to be easier said than done. At least once, Reiko was sure she made the wrong move, judging from the blood that would suddenly gush out randomly. Still, she eventually managed to pull out the splinter, albeit only after a laughably long amount of time. [Extraction learned]
Now, Reiko could use her Healing Hands technique to finish her self-treatment. However, before that, she looked through her book of medical techniques one last time just in case there was something more she could do with her wound. She found nothing, though, and closed the light wound with the signature medic technique Healing Hands.
Now that she was done tending to her wounds, Reiko had the time to look around at just where she had fallen into. One moment, she had been walking along a mountain. She wasn't sure where, though. She'd been lost for a while by then. The next moment, she was falling. Reiko assumed she had made a misstep somewhere. the girl shrugged off her situation, . She dusted herself off as she stood and looked around. Daylight was streaming through a hole some ways above her. The light glinted marvelously off the crystals, sending smatterings of light throughout the cave. The scene mesmerized Reiko for a little and then she decided to go and hug one of the larger crystals because why not?
With her face pressed right up against the crystal pillar, Reiko could see a blurred reflection of herself. She entertained herself with this reflection for a little bit, making faces while her cheek was pressed against the smooth, reflective surface. She probably would have been entertained just like this for a few more minutes if she didn't see another reflection appear on the crystal surface. Reiko's eyes narrowed as she thought over this dilemma while the other shape grew closer and closer. When the outline changed to have a pointed top rather than a flat one, Reiko twisted into action, rolling to the side just in time to dodge the kunai that suddenly stabbed down at the place she had been moments ago. The crystal pillar chipped but held and as the attacker rebalanced herself after the stab, Reiko took the chance to tackle the dangerous person away. She didn't know what she was going to do in response, but she did know she was going to need space. [4- hit target for 1 (9 - 15)]
Once Reiko had some space, she got a good look at her attacker and froze. In front of her, she saw an exact copy of herself, down to the arrangement of her bandages and rowdy hair. What the clone didn't have, though, was any semblance of a person. It looked at Reiko with dead eyes as it recovered from the push. Shocked, Reiko's hand slowly traced over her body to make sure that she wasn't just looking at a mirror and hadn't realized she was picking herself off the group instead of standing like she thought it was. Helpless in her current state, the clone landed a clean hit on Reiko, stabbing her straight in the gut. [2- get hit for 2 (9 - 13)]
Reiko coughed at the impact and doubled over, hands instinctively reaching over to the wound but finding the body of her clone instead as it dug the weapon further into the regular's gut. She activated her Physical Aura to prevent the kunai from digging in further as she was pushed into a pillar. With something to physically steady her back, Reiko felt like she could think more clearly. In an act of violence rare for her, the medic drew back a leg and kneed upwards, hitting the clone in the breast. Out of breath and in pain, the clone staggered up and Reiko hit it once more, this time with a kick, to knock it away from her. (19/20) [1- hit target for 2 (7 - 13)]
As the clone caught its breath, Reiko analyzed her situation as she pulled the kunai out of her stomach, bad medical practice, yes, but she was in the middle of a fight. She determined she would have to fight if the clone intended to continue attacking. As much as she wished it weren't the way it was, the medic could see her copy meant to take her life. Not wanting to be forced into another close encounter, Reiko weaved her hand signs for Thorn Whip with some hesitation. A thorny vine sprouted from the ground near the still downed copy and quickly spiraled around it completely before tightening in a flash to hold it down. The thorns dug in as a nasty side-effect that harmed the clone. (14/20) [8- hit target for 1 (6 - 13)]
The clone, hissed at the pain, but it hadn't been doing nothing while it was getting trapped in such an obvious fashion. If Reiko had just been more battle savvy, she would have noticed that everything was too easy, but she didn't and so she was caught unawares. The copy, who had been knocked to the ground face down, had cast its own hand signs and created a Flower Clone. Just as it was ensnared, the petals that had been drifting in from the hole in the ceiling behind Reiko formed into a clone of the clone that ran up to Reiko and delivered a round house kick. Reiko, luckily, at least had the senses for battle even if she did not have a sense for it. She heard the run and turned just in time to bring her arms up to protect herself. The still-up E-rank Physical Aura could do nothing against the blow, but her arms succeeded in minimizing the damage to an extent. [3- get hit for 1 (6 - 12)]
Her arms, however, did not prevent Reiko from staggering, though, and as she recovered from the firsts blow, Reiko found herself punched in the face. [5- get hit for 1 (6 - 11)]
Reiko could have retaliated against the clone, but she did not. She could guess what it was, a clone just like her own Flower Clone, judging from how her enemy looked just like her. Instead, she tightened the thorns around the original copy, hoping to damage it that way as she fended off the clone. [4- hit target for 1 (5 - 11)]
Reiko could not bring herself to squeeze the copy and finish it all in one blow. She could not bring herself to be so merciless, not when a part of her hoped the clone would peacefully surrender or something. As she continued to dodge, Reiko tightened the thorns more. Her mind may have come to the logical conclusion that she needed to destroy the copy, but her actions could not just immediately destroy without hesitation. She did try, though, increasing the pace of the increasing pressure her thorns applied. The pressure had reached the point where the thorns sank deep enough to touch tooth and choke the clone. However, the copy resisted and continued to fight, or at least ordered its clone to continue to fight. [1- hit target for 2 (3 - 11)]
The thorns tightened around the clone even more. A gargling noise began to emit from the aggressive copy. [4- hit target for 1 (2 - 11)]
Upon hearing the gargling noise, Reiko looked behind herself at the clone in desperation. She hoped that perhaps it was giving a visual cue of forfeit that she could not see. However, she saw nothing but blank eyes and was rewarded with a tackle to the ground from the clone's clone. [7- get hit for 1 (2 - 10)]
The flower clone wrapped its hands around Reiko's throat and proceeded to choke her to death. It looked at her with eyes as blank as its creator and Reiko held out for as long as she possibly could. All the while, the thorns she had created continue to tighten around their prisoner. As Reiko felt herself fading out of consciousness, she gave up. Her thorns no longer went about inefficiently tightening around the entire body as a whole. Instead, she had the whipped vines tighten strategically, putting all their strength into one loop around the neck to give one last squeeze that crushed the wind pipe and then semi-severed the clone's head. With the death of its creator, the Flower Clone choking Reiko disappeared as well. [1- hit target for 2 (0 - 10)]

"What," Reiko gasped as she caught her breath, "Was that?!". She jolted upright and looked around to find the copy that had attacked her. It was quickly fading out of existence and after Reiko blinked in surprise at the disappearing body, it was no longer there. All that remained as evidence of the copy were the vines that had been holding it. When Reiko walked up to inspect her thorny creations, she couldn't find even a speck of blood remaining. She wondered out loud, "D-did I just imagine that?" and twisted her torso to look around. The stretch sent a shock of pain through her body, though, and as Reiko clenched the wound, she confirmed, "No, no I don't think I imagined that..." The red-head set to healing herself with the Healing Hands technique and once her wounds had closed, she straightened back up and stretched. she assessed, Reiko was not one to like violence, but she also wasn't going to mope over what had happened. She needed to look to the future, and that involved getting out and reporting this phenomenon to her village.
Reiko's trial had been watched from behind the scenes by a woman who, oddly, sort of needed the help of the genin. She emerged in an almost instant before the girl, an arm clearly broken but still being moved through the pain, bruising all over her body, and a large, shark skin blade the only thing keeping her up. Would you like to perform a mission? she asked the genin, just before the Tsukikage in her tattered clothing fell to the ground right in front of her.
[Mission: SAVE A LIFE] Basic healing hands should be able to save her from the few wounds she does have. Just fix up the arm and make an easy 1000 ryo.

The sudden voice startled Reiko and, still wary from the previous fight, turned around as quickly as she could. However, upon seeing that the speaker was currently face-down on the ground and clearly badly wounded, all suspicions left the red-haired genin. Dropping her laughable imitation of what she thought a fighting pose should look like, Reiko strode forwards and knelt besides the prone body. She immediately began treatment, or at much treatment as she was able to do. Friend or foe, much less the identity of her patient, went completely ignored by Reiko. Some part of her brain recognized the shark-like sword as Samehada, but the information was brushed off as unimportant. Right now, in front of her, Reiko saw someone severely injured and, unable to even get herself out of the catacombs, Reiko had no idea how to get this person to any other medic besides her. The genin flipped the unconscious woman over and, ignoring the famous face after seeing that it had no worrisome injuries, proceeded to treat the wounds.
"Diagnosis," Reiko muttered her thoughts to her as she activated and processed the jutsu, "Bruises throughout the body, broken arm that's been further injured by continuous movement. Very hard bone, so a Kaguya. I'm going to need Bone Healer skill to fully treat this, but if it's just the bruises, the Healing Hands skill should..."
The rest of Reiko's voice trailed off into her thoughts as her hands prepped for the Healing Hands technique. They glowed with the highest medical chakra Reiko could muster and she slowly ran her hands over her patient's body. The bruises disappeared and other minor to moderately minor wounds healed.
The easiest part done, Reiko had to now heal the broken bone. She didn't have the experience to learn the jutsu she needed to mend it. However, having been taught by the medical shinobi, she was confident in her ability to set the bone in place, and if she was correct in thinking that Kaguya had very good bone regeneration, she wouldn't even need a splint. Reiko started the bone treatment by pulling her sweater over her head, balling it up, and then gagging the woman's mouth with it to keep her from biting down on her own tongue on the off-chance she woke up from the pain of the her bone being forcibly moved. "Sorry," Reiko murmured an apology for both her dirty sweater and what she was going to do next. As gingerly as she could, the beginning medic took Elizabeth's arm into both hands and exerted all the force she could muster into pushing/pulling the pieces of bone back into place. In the end, she had to inelegantly use her knee in addition to here arms to move the bones, but she managed it. Upon feeling the two halves of bone pop back into place, Reiko let loose a relieved smile and actually looked at the patient's face for the first time.
Reiko did more than a good job saving the Tsukikage's life. Even though she more than likely wouldn't have died. She sat up and popped her neck with a hearty chuckle. Aye, that'd be me mate. She smiled at the girl and reached in her pocket, pulling a small paper with her approval seal on it. A b rank mission, worth a fair bit of cash. Elizabeth yawned, covering her mouth, and stood up with a bit of difficulty. Come here, dear. I need a hand getting home. Say, what do they call you? she asked hoping she wasn't asking for too much from the young medic.

"Reiko, ma'am. My full name is Reiko Dakko," Reiko introduced herself as she accepted the paper and stood up after the Tsukikage. In accordance with the Tsukikage's request for assistance, Reiko slipped underneath Elizabeth's arm so that the taller woman could lean on her. Reiko used one hand to hold in place the arm she had slipped under and the other was placed in the middle of Elizabeth's back to help steady her. Although, after she'd positioned herself, Reiko was at a loss to do. She still didn't know how to get herself out of the catacombs, much less with a patient. "Umm...," she asked as her eyes drifted up to the distant opening, "So how are we getting out?". Even with a question like this, Reiko still managed to flash a smile, a sheepish one at that, at Elizabeth as she asked.
Reiko. The tsukikage smiled as she heard the name and the girl slipped under her. Don't worry about it, I can point the way. Elizabeth urged them along the correct pathways and coughed a bit. She remembered very keenly what had occured. The Sorakage was dead, and surely there would be a new one taking her place by now. In addition, Jade was as dead as dead gets. Her body would even be unrecoverable after what Elizabeth had done, but at a heavy price. She kept the majority of her weight off the girl, just enough that they could move effectively. So I watched your little skirmish. she said sternly. Tell me what you fight for. She said noting the details of the battle and how the sweet girl had nearly decapitated her opponent.

Trusting the older woman, Reiko followed dutifully. At the mention of her battle, Reiko looked up quizzically before realizing what Elizabeth meant by skirmish. The young genin's eyes darted back down to the ground as she tried to collect her thoughts, "Um... Well..." She didn't know what to think about everything that had happened in the fight just yet. It had happened so fast and right after it, Reiko had to help this woman.
"Ah, but you didn't ask about the fight, did you? You asked what I fight for," Reiko murmured to herself in realization, "Mhm." She smiled a little at the knowledge that she didn't have to try and organize her thoughts on the fight just yet. To her, answering the question of what she fights for was much easier. After all, it was something so simple, in her opinion, that she had figured out while still in academy. Still smiling, Reiko looked back up and replied, "I fight because I have to." She continued to blab on with the same smile, "Really, I don't like fighting all that much. I'd rather just hug people and see them smile! But I've been trained as a kunoichi, so it's my job to fight, isn't it? Someone has to fight, after all."
The tsukikage welled up with positive emotions as the girl spoke. She stopped waddling on and embraced the girl in an unusually soft hug. I like that idea. she said. ELizabeth rubbed her head and looked down at Reiko, still holding her. I fight because people depend on me to. That is a fair answer. The tsukikage went back to being helped along as they walked, hoping to make a bond with the girl. She weighed her options, telling the girl her story. In her mind, her backstory was riddled with things that the weak and squeamish didn't need to know.
You went through the academy, so I assume you know of the Regime of the Frozen Tree,, Kaiser Shiro-Kame. The self titled, self appionted "White Haired God." A few steps went before she continued on with her history. I was a small child when he and Jade went to war and Yukigakure was shut down. I was an orphan to two military heads, and a brother who I haven't seen since I was... she stumbled on her words a bit. Kidnapped. Recruited was more the word. Before the procedure that saved me, before that girl gave me her life force and changed me I was one of the mind sculptors. My skills made me the perfect candidate for an underground gladiator ring. I fought day in and day out. Ripping my 'friends' to shreds every day. Fed scraps of food, drops of water were more precious than blood. I was NOTHING to them. Until I escaped. She reflected on that night. She got away purely by luck. Someone got too close to her cage and she pulled the escape route from his head and then broke his neck. She ran out of the arena and didn't stop until malnourishment halted her. I woke up in tsuki, met with the eyes of the then Tsukikage, and you've probably heard of my six year rise to power. That said, remember the meaningless fighting? I gave it up. Now I only fight to protect. Simply, I fight for my friends. Not because I ame a kuinoichi, but because I have to. She hadn't ever shared that story before, and by the end she felt good. Well, sort of. She coughed blood into her hand, but hid it from Reiko. No use worrying her. Sorry, I don't know where that even came from.she admitted. They came to a fork in teh catacombs, and Elizabeth pulled her off to the left. She was quiet for a while before she asked another question to Reiko. So a combat medic then? she asked. We need more of those. Too many big dummies in our army if you ask me, but that must make me the biggest one eh? She laughed a bit, which made her cough up, this time possibly not able to hide the blood. She fell to one knee coughing, but just braved through it. She stood up and leaned against the wall, double vision setting in. Bone chips from ribs she didn't notice were shattered. Shellshock from the hit. A hospital would be needed. Blegh.

The embrace surprised Reiko, but she didn't let that stop her from reciprocating it, hugging the Tsukikage enthusiastically until the older woman decided enough was enough and continued walking. Reiko kept pace with Elizabeth and listened quietly. She knew most of what Elizabeth talked of. History lessons at the academy did include the Regime of the Frozen Tree and Reiko had heard by word of mouth and tidbits of news about Elizabeth's rise to power.
When Elizabeth finally got around to revealing her own reason for fighting, Reiko looked up from the ground, which she had been staring at to make sure she didn't trip, straight into Elizabeth's face. It wasn't that Reiko was all that awestruck about Elizabeth's reason for fighting. She had heard reasons like that several times from her own classmates. Fighting to protect was a common enough reason and it made sense, common enough that even Reiko thought at least once in the past, That was all past, though, and now, Reiko only looked at Elizabeth because it seemed like the right time in the conversation to, and as Reiko looked, she saw Elizabeth cough. Reiko's brow creased with worry, but she quickly smiled when Elizabeth apologized to show that it was alright and that she didn't mind being talked to so much.
The medic-in-training didn't see the blood from the first cough, didn't get a chance to look closely at the Tsukikage's hand before she was pulled over to the left at a fork in the catacombs, and after taking the fork, Reiko was back to focusing on her footing. A question brought her eyes back to Elizabeth and this time when Elizabeth coughed, Reiko saw the blood. As Elizabeth dropped to the ground, Reiko did what she could to soften the Tsukikage's fall as she dropped to a kneel herself. Reiko remained on the ground as Elizabeth stood back up, her face bunched up in worry once more as she looked up at the Tsukikage. The young genin's mind was too focused on searching her mind for any information that could help to bother standing up. However, she could think of nothing. There were just too many things that could result in coughing up blood after a fight and Reiko wasn't familiar enough with the Diagnosis jutsu to figure out what exactly was wrong.
As much as it frustrated her to not even know what was wrong with the injured kunoichi, Reiko didn't let her frustration cloud her thoughts and stood up as Elizabeth recovered against the wall. "Sorry," Reiko apologized in advance, "You're going to need the hospital, I think." Reiko disliked the hospital with a passion based on reasons she didn't know herself. All she knew was that she really, really hated going to the hospital, and she consequently felt horrible whenever telling someone else to go the hospital. Reiko continued, "Do you think you can make it to the hospital?". Reiko didn't know what she would do if Elizabeth didn't think she could move any more or, even worse, didn't think she would be able to go for much longer without proper treatment, but she felt that she needed to know nonetheless.
The Tsukikage smirked at the girls apparent disdain of hospitals. She too hated the palces, so she merely nodded and smiled empathetically. Help... would be appreciated. And then everything went black as she collapsed on the ground.
