Shimo - Buried
"Travel to Shimogakure and aid in the recent snowstorm and avalanche catastrophe that buried a village. There were little to no signs of foul play, so it is assumed to be a natural disaster, but keep alert anyways. You are to provide support for any troubled civilians and to escort them to safety."

Note: There shouldn't be too much trouble on the way there, so it seems fit enough to send just the two of you. Most of the villagers should be able to be saved and brought to the closest village. Make sure to run plans by with any higher ranking officer close by. Meet and depart when you are ready.

Makoto Lung  LV. 10 Experience: (066/550) Hp: 125/140 Cp: 110 MHp: 120 Dodge:16+2=18 Resting posts must be 4 lines long +1 hp/cp/mhp Walking up to the village’a gates and looking around for a moment, makoto smiled as he started to stretch out for a moment. It felt good to finally be back on missions instead of doing nothing around the village, even the training was getting boring to him. He needed money and experience but what shocked him the most was the fact that Airi was going to be joining him, they had a lot to talk about regarding what happened to him this morning… but he was going to keep it quiet for now until he was ready. With that in mind, makoto smiled and looked around for Airi.

Airi had made it from the Anzan Compound. It was like a zoo over there, literally. She couldn't it anymore and needed something to occupy her mind. The clan had spoken to her briefly and they were preparing for some kind of wedding... for her? She was almost like 'one of the boys' and not to mention the whole bestial nature thing, she just didn't want any part in any of it. Couldn't she just fall in love on her own, and move away from the clan? She just wanted to be... normal, or at least as normal as she could be. Any time away from all this drama would be good. I wonder who I am going with, they never specified. Maybe it is Rayne-sama? She wouldn't like it, but she wouldn't not like it either. She sighed as she walked down the road and scanned for anyone looking for her. Hopefully they would have told the other person. Then again, she'd hide from herself if she could too. She noticed Makoto standing by the gate leading out of the village. She turned a little red and walked over to him, "Hello Makoto-san. What are you doing out here? I'm waiting to go on a mission."

This was like fate was bringing them together almost all the time, but it was very odd how it seemed like that. As she approached him, makoto listened to her as she asked what he was doing out here. It seemed that she was put on the same mission as him… this was like destiny or something, but makoto couched to clear his throat. “Hey Airi, I’m here waiting on a mission too… just out of curiousity, is your mission Buried? “ Asked makoto in a curious tone, if it was the same mission then they could leave now for the buried village. But if not then he would have to wait…

It seemed he was waiting to begin his mission as well, "Is my mission buried? No, I have the scroll right here..." She pulled out the scroll and showed it to him and then realized what he meant. "Oh, yeah the one in Land of Frost with the avalanche and snow storms. Yeah that would be the one, how did you know.... Oh, you must be my partner for the mission then." She immediately turned slightly red. Just keep it together. All you have to do is go and save a few people. She tried to compose herself, "Forgive me Makoto-san. I guess I'm just a little flustered today is all. I'll try to be a little more enjoyable. Perhaps we should get going, that is if you are ready to go. I don't think those in Shimo would like us dawdling around." She fixed her hair under her hat and tightened up her scarf. "What have you been up to?"

She opened the scroll to show him, but he had the same scroll as she did. He also noticed that she began to turn slightly red, like she was trying to keep it together while they were here together. After she composed herself, she apologized to him for being flustered today and that she would be more enjoy able. But she did have a point about being on their way, so he nodded to that comment while he listened to her ask what he had been up too. That was a question he didn’t have an answer too but he would do his best to answer it. “ You’re always enjoyable Airi, so don’t think about it too much. “ Spoke Makoto as he started walking out of the village gates and started on his way, talking to her with a warm and kind smile on his face. “Well… I can’t really answer that, I’ve been busy keeping my old house clean and ready. My aunt and uncle left it behind for me to use, so I plan on moving in when I’m older. Also I did some training this morning, but I was stopped by a member of your clan… he was creepy but he was doing his duty. “

She was still red and hardly able to contain herself. He was such a sweet boy, and would grow into a fine man someday. Should she tell him? She didn't want to cause any hardships on him, or make him feel like he had to do something about it. Odds were that he could try, but nothing would be done about it. It was an Anzan matter after all. He mentioned keeping the house clean and getting it ready for himself some day down the road. "It seems you like to keep yourself rather busy. I wouldn't know where to begin." He then mentioned a member of her clan speaking with him. Her back straightened up and she stopped for a moment, her eyes widening. She shook herself, snapping back into reality and continued as if nothing happened. "Oh really? I wonder who it was... I'm sure it was nothing serious after all..." she placed a finger under her scarf to get a little breeze to her now hot neck. She could already feel the sweat forming on her skin. Maybe he knows already? "I swear it's not that big of a deal. i'm sure they're just trying to scare me is all. Nothing will come through of it."

He looked over to her who was looking at him and smiled warmly to her, he liked her a lot and if there want anything she could say… he would listen. Listening to her speaking about him keeping rather busy, makoto shock his head in complete disagreement. That was his chores he needed to do, also the training was needed to become strong. But he suddenly realized that that Airi was not following him and stopped to look back, she was straightened up completely and her eyes were widened. This made him very nervous and concerned, walking back up to her . By the time he reached her, she had shock herself back into reality and continued forward. Makoto listened to her for a moment and started thinking about her, thinking of the proper response. Makoto them placed his hand on her shoulder and stopped, he was going to let her know his resolve and the facts. “ The person who came to me said that he was a friend of your father, He wants me to tell you and help you become more primal. He told me that… if you don’t and leave the clan, then they would send you to death by ANBU… or the clan leader would do it personally. “ Spoke makoto as he took her hand softly, holding it softly and warmly in his own. He noticed that she was getting hot under the scarf, she was also sweating. “It may be a lie, but to me… it’s a big deal. If I lose the one friend who I care about, I don’t know what I would do. Maybe you’re right, maybe it is a scare us and you. But I’m not going to leave your side Airi, no matter what happens to you… I’ll never leave your side.”

She could tell that he cared for her. Everything in her body was telling her that. It was almost like she could smell it off him, and see it in the way he treated her. So he doesn't know then... She gave a half smile and turned to continue walking towards Shimo. "I see... I guess it was doomed to happen. The Anzan are too proud of their abilities, and even though most villages in the countries have someone from the clan, it's not simply about clan secrets, but more so tradition. It seems they are starting to grow a pair..." she said mumbling the last part. It would be a long walk there, and part of Airi wasn't looking forward to it. That gave a lot of time for talking. It wasn't her fault that she was practically being given away to someone, and to make it worse, she had no say in it. If it comes down to it, I'll run as fast as I can and get the hell out of there. Maybe I'l be able to hide from them. She resolved that she needed to train a bit more, as Makoto was doing. "Perhaps we can do something along the way to help pass the time? Why not start now? I mean, we have nothing better to do and it would prevent us from talking for a while. "H-how about a game of cat and mouse?"

He followed her and watched her for a moment, knowing that something was up but he would let it slide for now. Listening to what she was saying, they were going to hunt her not because of the secrets but the tradition? Still makoto smiles and shock his head as he heard the growing a pair comments. But he looked back at her and could tell that she was thinking, it was the thinking like she was about to do something type thinking. He then listened to her suggest they do something to pass the time, it was an interested and a bright idea that she had and makoto thought it was good enough. The young swordsman nodded to her as she nervously suggested the game of cat and mouse. “ cat and mouse? Whats that? “

She looked at him rather surprised, "You've never played cat and mouse? It's... sort of like hide and seek, but more ninja-like. I hide and stalk you, while trying to catch you by surprise." She ran off into the brush to hide herself, to make it slightly more interesting. "By the way... you're the mouse." She gave a sigh and rubbed her forehead with her forearm. At least I'm out of that predicament for now. With this game they would be able to continue moving forward while playing it, which made it the perfect little game, not to mention it would train their skills as well. She decided to wait until he ran off to hide before trying to hunt him down, after all, she did have a slight advantage.

Makoto Lung LV. 10 Experience: (066/550) Hp: 140 Cp: 110 MHp: 120 Dodge:16+2=18 Resting posts must be 4 lines long +1 hp/cp/mhp Nodding to her for a moment and looking around the area for a decent place, makoto started to run up the path and into the road ahead. Hiding in the bushes that were close by that didn’t seem to be full of thorns or bugs. Makoto didn’t really play games when he was younger like all the kids in the academy, he was different because of his eyes. One was blue while the other was brown, but he was also friendly if anyone wanted to be friends with him. But his first friends was the first team he led, she was one of them . Airi waited a few moments and then decided to begin her hunt. She was good at this and often times would make actual hunting into a game. She took a whiff of the air and tried to find his scent. That didn't work, so she decided to look and listen for him moving, but she couldn't find him. Damn, I didn't think he would be this good... She continued to keep a low profile as she crept along the forest floor, her predator eyes darting back and forth for even the slightest movement. She thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye, but it was simply a squirrel darting away from the intruders of his home.

So he started to silently moved threw the trees, even climbed up a tree and started to wait for her to make a move to find him. But he was too exposed, so he started to move through the trees and looked back at her. He hoped this would do just nicely, he had a good hiding place… but he felt open to being found. Airi wasn't about to let him get away. She stayed low to the ground and continued eyeing her way through the woods. That's when she heard something. She quickly turned and spotted a part of him in the tree. She quietly edged over to him, hoping to avoid detection herself. She was at the base of the tree and she bound up it. She quickly took a kunai and placed at his throat. "Nice try, now it's my turn to hide." She removed the kunai and proceeded down the tree and began running away from his direction. Alright, make as little noise as possible and continue in the general direction. Avoid stick and leaves if possible.
