“This is a little different speed than I’m used to. Normally, when I show up people tend to expect me to right their sinking ship for them. This time I’m not responsible for fixing this company because they have Jarel and King Kartwright.” Kody says as he takes a drink from his large MTN Dew Slurpee. “I’m here in LWL because I’m trying to get my wrestling legs underneath me. It’s been awhile since I have been strictly in the wrestling land.”
A very light long blonde haired woman stood next Kody as they slowly walk around the back during the latest LWL showing. She says as she steals Kody’s slurpee from his hand and starts drinking it, “Well, you were extremely sure that you didn’t want to be dropped kicked back into the fire when returning to wrestling business. So, after couple days of searching I found this place for you. I figured that this place wouldn’t demand too much from you. LWL is slightly under radar but, it’s slowly growing. When I mean slowly, I mean like a plant under concrete slow. Eventually, that plant will break through the concrete but, who knows how long that would actually take. ”
Kodiak looks down at his empty hand where his Slurpee used to be at and frowns. He says, “Does LWL have some talent minus Kartwright and Jarel? If I’m third on the list of potential champion material here than they’re doing something wrong.”
“Yes Kody, they do and why are you so down on yourself?” the woman asks as she playfully hip checks Kody. “You have won many championships during your tender in the wrestling business but, yet you still believe that you’re just a rookie.”
“Not a rookie” Kody says with a sigh as he stuffs his hands into the front pouch of his grey hoody. “Brit, I feel like I have more to learn but, every time I gain traction. Something bad happen causing me to leave the federation. Anyways, back to the topic on the hand. LWL seems to remind of another federation that Creeker and I were in back in the day. Pretty much there are no rules besides pinning or submitting your opponent inside of the ring on any normal matches.”
“So in a nutshell,” Brit says with a seductive smile with the slurpee straw in her mouth. “You’re going back to your roots when you first started. Does that mean I should by stock in a bandages and pain pills?”
Kody rolls his eyes, “Real funny, Brit”
“So Kody,” Brit asks “If you have a chance of becoming the LWL Champion would you go for it or will you just stay in the shadows?”
“Who’s the current champion?” Kody asks as he taps his chin with his pointer finger deep in thought
“Lauri Henry”
When that name was said, Kody’s finger stop suddenly and slowly turns his head to Brit. He says with slight angry, “He’s the bloody champion? Well, I guess my new mission here in LWL is to liberate the LWL Championship from his dirty hands. I will make sure he isn’t champion for much longer if I have any opinion in it. As long as I’m here, he will lose the LWL championship one way or another!”

Jacob Griffin steps into the scene, immediately demanding a microphone be brought to him as he stood next to Kody and Brit.

Griffin could hear the crowd's boos from backstage, as they grew louder because of his sudden appearance this evening.
"I wasn't going to come over here, but then you said something that really just grind my gears. Out of everyone in the locker room... You put "King" Kartwright and that old dinosaur Jarel over the other talet on the roster. Then you put yourself third on the list... NO! First off I am the most talented member of this roster and Karty and Jarel don't even come close to my level. Which means you are even lower then that because you put yourself under those two chumps. If anyone deserves a shot at the LWL Championship it clearly isn't someone who thinks they are lower then the scum of the LWL Roster. If anyone deserves the LWL Championship it is me."
Jacob Griffin turns to face Kody, waiting to see if he had anything relevant to say. The fans booing the Canadian Superstar's arrogance.

At this point, Jarel is backstage, after successfully planting Mikey Mckay and having his first run in with Cartwright in the past two years, and he can't help but overhear Jacob's comments. As such, the Dragon steps onto the camera as well.
"I'm sorry, did you just call me an old dinosaur?"
Jarel's expression is a mixture of irritation and amusement.
"Normally, I'd brush you off. But the fact that you dare call me an old dinosaur rubs me the wrong way. To say that I don't come close your level is an obvious lie. You were the person I beat in my last televised match. Now frankly, I don't give a damn about the LWL championship or who holds it. But, what I do care about, is kicking the s**t out of a little pissant with delusions of grandeur. So since you're bold enough to speak the Dragon's name in a less than respectful tone, tell me are you gonna keep running your mouth and letting it write checks your a** can't cash, or are you gonna try going one on one again?"

Kody stares at the man who’s proclaiming himself the rightful contender for the LWL Championship. Brit chimes in quickly, “You look familiar but, I can’t put my finger on it. All I know is that you go through more black eyeliner than I can in a year in a single show. Do you just shove your face into a giant bucket of the black liquid to get that look?”
“Jacob right,” Kody says slightly annoy “The reason why I put those legendary wrestlers in front of your emo wannabe a**. They’re proven wrestler and they know how to bring the house down on a nightly bases. They carry themselves like true professional and know the meaning of a shower. You on the other hand well, lack everything that makes them great. You’re one step away from being considered a true Canadian because they all stink.” Kody continues as he takes a step forward. “I don’t think myself under them, Jacob. I just don’t want to be the ox that everyone wants to pull LWL into main stream of wrestling. Maybe later on but right now, I don’t want to be thrown the weight of the company on my shoulders.”

Griffin was excited that Jarel would make an appearance after he had rudely made fun of the living legend. He "listened" to what Jarel had to say before "listening" to Brit and Kody again. Griffin didn't seem very interested in what they had to say.
"Jarel! You brontosaurus you. So good to see you Old Timer! I didn't know they let senior citizens in LWL?! You're almost pushing 60 right? Anyways... How about this big guy? You take care of your biz with Mikey McKay and I will win the LWL Title in this upcoming Scramble Match and if you're still alive and kicking I'll give you a shot at the belt. How's that sound? Or should I speak louder so YOU CAN HEAR ME?!"
The level of disrespect was pretty high at this point and Griffin was probably on the edge of having Jarel explode, so he would back off a little and turn his attention to Kody and Brit.
Make-up, Emo, and jokes about smelling bad? John Cena would be proud of you guys. But for real. Kody I am glad that you are here. Creeker and I were pretty close back when I went by another name. But don't think you can just come in here and say a couple lines and think you are at the LWL Championship level. You are clearly not ready. You are not LWL champion material. I feel like you need to set your sights a little lower there bud. The LWL Power Championship maybe?
Griffin was being extreme rude tonight and it could bite him in the a**, but Griffin didn't really care. His mouth gets in him in trouble all the time, but he has the skill and talent to get out of it.

Jarel takes one single step closer towards Jacob.
"Listen here, little man. You had better hope and pray Mikey is not able to get into that scramble. If he does, that leaves me very free and very pissed off. I'm going to warn you once, and only once. I'm not about talk. I'm about action. You can stand here and run your mouth, but if I have nothing to better to do, meaning, if Mikey is in that scramble, I will personally guarantee that you never get close to that championship. I'd suggest you run along and let the grown ups speak, before I decide to make that black eyeliner red."
The Dragon moves no closer, though his intent has been stated. One wrong move by Jacob and perhaps the Godfather of Hardcore will live up to his name
