Lizzy should have called him beforehand, but she figured that if he wasn't home, she could... Probably visit someone else. Or go back to her room. Or something. She just did not want to be caught wandering around the reaper dorms as the place held too many memories for her; perhaps once happy, but now? Just lingering sadness.
But no more of that... She had been so preoccupied with herself that she had neglected everything else - and it helped to go out. Meet up with others. Holing herself up in her room didn't do any good.
"Shun?" She knocked on his door once, and then pressed a ear to it before stepping back, and knocking again, "It's Lizzy!"

At the time, Shun wasn't doing too much in particular. He was simply sitting upon his bed, meditating. When he heard the knock at the door, his good eye cracked open, though he hadn't stood up right away. He soon realized it was Lizzy on the other side. Now that was someone he hadn't seen in a little while. Getting to his feet, he made his way over and opened the door to see her there on the other side.
"It's been awhile. Is there something you need?" he asked calmly.

"Do I always visit you only when I need something?" Lizzy asked with a pout, folding her arms across her chest, "Like you said, it's been a while... So I just figured that I'll drop by for a visit~"

"...No. In general, people visit me when they want one thing or another. If they're looking to simply talk, that is still wanting something," Shun said plainly. He typically asked everyone if they wanted something when they show up at his door. The exception was Mitsu, though she tended to be an exception to many things really.
Nodding to her, he stepped back to let her in.
"In any case.. come on in," he said before closing the door after she walked through, "Have things been well for you?"

"So coooold," Lizzy sighed, offering Shun a sheepish smile as she walked past him, "I guess it's kind of comforting to know that some things around me won't change much..."
Taking a look around, she half-expected Mitsu to be there, since the ghoul was around during some of her visits, "Uh, well enough, I guess? And yourself?"

"Go ahead and have a seat. Would you like a snack or tea?" he offered before nodding to her question, "Well enough, I suppose. I recently had a visit to Kaitou, which didn't go as poorly as it could have gone."
Shun paused there, as he recalled something.
"Which reminds me.. I found out some information regarding the location of your Father's demise."

"Really?" Lizzy asked, perking up when he mentioned 'Kaitou' and 'didn't go as poorly' in the same sentence; she had long given up hope of Shun and his father ever really getting along - and she didn't like the man anyway - but could things finally have improved?
... Probably not, but at least things didn't go as poorly as they could have, right?
Taking a seat, she looked surprised when her father was mentioned; it had been a while since they last talked about it, but it made sense for him to talk about it now. Sort of. Maybe his visit reaped some answers, "Oh?"

Shun nodded to Lizzy twice. He decided to not really speak a whole lot about the meeting with his father and instead focused more on the information he had managed to gather for her.
"The name of the place is Devil's Pier," he stated, "I didn't get too much else, but you now have the name of the place.. in case.. you ever want to find it."
He wasn't sure if she still did, but it was there now. Just in case.

Thankfully for Shun, Lizzy was too focused on the information to ask about his father... For now.
"What a name for a pier," She replied softly, going silent as she seemed to mull something over. After a while, she looked up, offering her friend a smile, "Alright, got it! Thank you for finding that out for me... What were you doing back at Kaitou's though?"
There, she asked it; she doubted that he went back just to find out about her father. There must be something else... And hopefully he didn't get Shun to do any dirty work for him.

"Not a problem," he replied before pausing at her question, "We were to discuss my position within the Family. I'll be working with them again. However..."
Shun took a moment to try and think of how to explain this exactly.
"I'm going to be working on taking over. Slowly. But.. when I'm there maybe I can change a thing or two."

"Ah," Lizzy frowned, leaning forward and staring at Shun's face intently before sighing, and leaning back; she was about to say 'don't do anything illegal', but... What are the odds of that?
"Don't do anything that you might regret later," She sighed again, "Or get caught doing anything against the law."

"Regret doesn't come easy to me. As for getting caught... well.. I wouldn't be very good if that happened I suppose," Shun mused. There was always that risk, but he had no plans on getting himself arrested any time soon.

"Everyone has regrets. It's all part of life and unlife," Lizzy nodded sagely, "Don't make us worry excessively by getting yourself caught. If you want to break the law, at least do it without being found out..."
... What sort of advice is this?!

"I'll tell you a million times if that's what it'll take for me to remember not to do anything that you'll regret and to not get caught," Lizzy repeated herself again before letting out another sigh, "No matter what I say, it's not like you're going to drop what you're doing, and suddenly stop doing illegal things, so this is the best I can do... And no, I'm not going to do that because if you get caught, you're not going to be the only one who gets hurt. In fact, I can name a few people who will be more upset about that than you will be."
