Appearance: Leviathan is a tall man but with an appearance of a young boy. He has dark hair with white stripes. He is known to wear a black suit underneath the captain's haori. Leviathan also wears a skull necklace from when he was given to as a child. It is the sign of death meaning that one day death will come to him thus he should not be afraid and welcome it instead because everyone dies in some point in their life.

Family: He became an orphan after his family died from hollows that were attacking the city.
Personality: Calm and reserved. When around his squad members, he is known to be crazy and very odd usually doing random things. When he is around other captain he usually acts a bit childish by teasing other captains, messing around with them, or just being a little kid. When he's around higher authority he is very respectful and very attentive. If he is around his squad members, other captains, and higher authority all at the same time.. well who knows what could happen.

Biography: At the age of seven, Leviathan lived alone due to his parents being killed by Hollows that attacked Soul Society. His name originated from the mystical sea monster 'Leviathan' and knowing that having a strong name like that would make him be able to take care of himself when he gets older, thus his parents named him after the sea creature. They risked their lives to save his and before they were killed his mother gave him a skull necklace that would keep him safe. He vowed that one day he will return the favor and kill every single Hollow out there. Living life as a street rat, Leviathan came across some kids picking on a smaller child. He didn't care much for the weaker people, but seeing an opportunity to kick some butt for the fun of it, he decided to jump in and when he jumped in he literally jumped on all of them. He was a tall kid for being seven or eight and when those kids saw him they were quite frightened on the size of Leviathan but they still thought they had a chance due to five against one. Leviathan did get a beat down of his life, but he didn't go down without a fight. He curled up in a ball letting them beat the living crap out of him when suddenly he screamed and shouted, jumped up almost five feet up in the air and landed on one of the kid. He then went berserk and pounded on each one of the kid as if he was a wild animal. When they all knew they didn't have a chance, they ran away. This is when Leviathan had his first friend, Tsune. Tsune was in the Shin'ō Academy and convinced Leviathan to join, it took a lot of convincing but he finally decided to join after the fact that he found out that they would give free food and even though Leviathan didn't mind stealing from people, he figured he would lay low for awhile.
Joining Shin'ō Academy made Leviathan learn to control his out burst and his berserk. After passing the entrance exam Leviathan went on many field trips to the human world, but one particular field trip made Leviathan known to many of the Lieutenants and captains. They were attacked by huge hollows and being out numbered and out powered they couldn't do much but to retreat. While retreating, some of the group members were being devoured by the huge hollows. Seeing this happen, Leviathan stopped running and rushed to their aid. The only person he saved was an injured Lieutenant from the ninth division that was taking on multiple Hollows at a time and before they could be killed they were saved by the captain and the Lieutenant from the fifth division. Showing his bravery made Leviathan known to the Lieutenants and the Captains, he excelled further into his rankings after graduating from the academy and joined the ninth division where he rose to the 6th seat. Feeling that he could be more than just a 6th seat, he talked to some of the captains, got on their good side and learned incredible skills from each one of them. He was able to get a recommendation from six of the captains to become a captain, but he needed the other seven to approve of him. He only got six approval because the last one didn't want to get his position replaced by the one that is replacing him. So he challenged the ninth division captain to a fight. During the battle where he was about to lose, he managed to release his bankai after years of training to master it, it has finally awakened. With his bankai released, Leviathan rushed towards the ninth division captain and sweeped him with his immense power. The fight ended and seeing that almost half of the captains approved of him being a captain and learning to release his bankai, he was more than qualified to become the ninth division captain.
After years of being a captain, the time came to where Soul Society was fighting against the Arrancars. His best friend and Lieutenant Tsune Akimodo defended Soul Society from an attack by the Arrancars, but not being able to be everywhere at once Tsune died from one of the Arrancars. Leviathan was extremely angry and went berserk not being able to hold it in, he hunted down the Espada that was responsible for his friends death and killed him. Doing this made the Commander-General angered as well for being irresponsible and suspended him for awhile. There was a new Lieutenant for the ninth division and he became leader until Leviathan was done with his suspension.

Zanpakuto Spirit Personality: Leviathan's personality is unlike Levi's of course. This monster is cruel and mean, whatever Levi does wrong the monster scolds him on it and whatever Levi does right the monster ignores it. What this monster does do to help Levi is give him the strength to control his berserk making his strength stronger rather than it being everyone.
Inner World: The sea is his home. With the rough waves and spiked rocks, it is a place where the sea monster trains with the wielder.

Shikai Released Appearance:
Shikai Abilities: Raging Sea: He is able to bring forth a horrendous tidal wave that attacks a group of targets.
Calling of the dark moon: He is able to make the sky turn pitch black for thirty minutes maximum or whenever he calls back his spirit to him. This makes it difficult for the target to see anything whereas Leviathan is able to see with the help of his zanpakuto. As you know, a zanpakuto and the wielder becomes one with each other thus being able to feel one another. Therefore, whenever he uses this skill, his zanpakuto spirit reaches out to the any target that he chooses and sticks on them like glue, making Leviathan able to feel where his spirit is as well as where the target is located as well.
Dark waves: He is able to mimic a hollows cero, but his is different. With a wave of his scythe through the air, the air flow towards the target becomes a black materialize wave.
Sea monsters bite: The sea monster that is deep inside of him comes out, rushing towards the target to give a swift blow of it's claw and bite.

Bankai Description:
(Just the scythe not the girl) Bankai Abilities: Inner Eruption: His blood boils making his adrenaline pump fast which makes his speed exceedingly quick.
Two moon: He is able to make a copy of himself once per battle.
Death by the sea: The only way to use this ability is when the target is up in the air. Once in the air, he raises his scythe and a burst of dark wave comes shooting up towards the target engulfing him in the dark wave then throwing the target to the ground if it hits.
