 There it is. He had been loping around away from family and found himself, well, no where near. He had his father's directional senses which were close to none, so even if he wanted to head back currently, he wouldn't be able to, or it would take a long while. So the foal took to galloping this way and that, darting past trees and every once in a while flapping his wings, as if trying to take flight but not quite able to yet. In his jumping around and getting lost in his own world he galloped right into a tree with a resounding thud. The foal was tossed back onto his rump, wings and ears skewed in confusion as he tried to regain his senses.

 She didn't know how she'd achieved it. She had no wings. She had no idea how she had gotten all the way up here. She supposed the low hanging branches and the nobs on the tree were what had enabled her to climb to the tallest branch she could reach. She had wanted to practice her balancing. Perhaps her determination had gotten her up here. She had seen a thick branch just big enough for her, just the perfect height and size for balancing. There was no challenge too big for "Ziggy: The Amazing Horse-riding Horse." Of course, she wasn't quite there yet, she had to practice first. She had to make sure she could actually balance on another's back. Of course, she could balance on almost anything, like this tree, but others? She wasn't sure. Either way, she was going to try someday. But first she needed to figure out how to get out of this tree...
A thud at its base hardly shook her. She carefully adjusted her tiny legs to the movement of the tree trunk and the branch she stood upon, looking down as she did so. A bright green color caught her eye and she instantly thought, Oh, what an interesting color! She grinned down at the colt, hoping he was ok but admiring his shiny green mane and wing tips. "Can you fly?" she asked him, wondering if he was her ticket out of this tree. She knew she was too small to survive a jump if she attempted it, but she felt no fear of falling as she looked down to the earth and paced on her branch.

The voice caught him even more off guard. He glanced around before his ears let him know the voice came from above him. Blinking, Hari got to his feet and refolded his wings against him. "I can only glide a bit." Hari said sheepishly. "Or well, I'm not too good at it." He admitted. The colt had been trying, he wouldn't call what he'd been able to do flying, really... more like erratic gliding and some luck. He trotted around the base of the tree then reared up, letting his hooves press against the trunk. "How'dja get up there?.... How're'ya gonna get down?" With a c**k of his head, his mane flitted to the other side and he tried to figure out what she was. She looked like she had wings, but they were coming out of the wrong spot. Hari liked her colors though, so much softer than his own bright splashes.

She felt her nose wrinkle in confusion and slight disappointment when he said he wasn't too good at flying. That meant she was still stuck. The thought of being "not too good" at something was a concept that confused her, although at a second thought she realized that she was not good at flying either. She had no wings to fly with. She was good at doing tricks in the air and flew in a sort of way, but she couldn't really fly. She looked at her fins that seemed almost winglike, but they fanned out and flopped to her side in a hopeless sort of way. For a moment she was envious of those green feathered wings of his, but she was sure they wouldn't work for her. They would probably throw her off balance.
She flapped the fins rather eagerly as he placed his feet on the trunk. "I climbed!" she answered and grinned proudly, peeking down at him. His next question had her stumped once again, though. "I don't know how to get down...I think I'm stuck," she said. She didn't like admitting it, and she could balance up here all day, but she would need food at one point. She would eventually have to get down. But for now she continued to pace, practicing her leg movements and adjustments while she could.
"What's your name?" she asked the bright colt, blinking at him curiously. He was very tall it seemed, especially when propped up against the tree like that. But he still wasn't tall enough to reach her and help her down. At least he was good company.

Tilting his head this way and that he tried to figure out what branches she had to use to get there. His face was one of awe, and he wondered if he could do the same. "I'm Hari." Snorting happily and hopped down off the trunk and began to circle the tree. "How about you?" He chirped before trying to jump up to the nearest branch. His front legs made it and he hooked them there, back legs kicking around and wings flapping to try and get up on the branch. "If I can get there, we can glide down!" He offered.

She giggled at his efforts to climb the tree and wished she could pull him up. But she knew he was too heavy for her and he would surely pull her downward instead. She nodded excitedly at his suggestion. The thought of gliding sounded like so much fun! She wondered how far he could go with this gliding.
"It's nice to meet you Hari. Try this branch over here, then there's a nobbly thing you can step up on right above it," she suggested, directing him towards the branch. She assumed that's how she had gotten up here. It seemed familiar that way. Her fins flapping, she crouched on the branch and watched him. "My name's Dzigits. You can call me Ziggy if you want, that's my stage name," she nodded, assuming that he wasn't really listening as he seemed to be focused with his climbing.

Hari let himself drop to the ground and after collecting himself he went to the one she was pointing to. Then he stood back a bit and got some speed in a canter before hopping up. He some how made it, and was precariously standing on the branch, wings flapping as he kept his balance. "Stage name?" He asked a bit confused, Hari hadn't heard of the circus. "What does that mean?" Hari smiled dumbly up at her as he attempted to get to the next obvious branch of choice. He did fumble a little, but thankfully his wings were helping him with some simple 'floating' when he miss stepped and to help him keep balance like a tightrope walker.

Though he was a little clumsier than she was, she was intrigued by this large foal's balancing skills. She watching his wings support him and was envious of them once again. "Oh, I'm part of a circus!" she said. She had forgotten that he didn't know what a stage name was. She wished she could show him the circus. Perhaps she would invite him to one of the shows. She walked closer to the trunk of the tree, watching him climb as they spoke.
"You're almost there! Try this branch!" she directed him again, trying to help as best as she could from such an awkward position. Every now and then he was out of her field of vision, blocked by the tree trunk or other branches. She hoped he could make it, she didn't want him to fall and get hurt.

He grunted and made his way up the tree with a few "woahs!" and awkward laughs. Then he was just a few branches from her. He looked to where she was pointing, and he gave a snort of determination and jumped, using his wings to angle him so he landed on the branch. He was just a half step down from her. "Think ya' can make it to me?" He said, wigglign a little as he pread his wings again for balance.

"Oh yes, I can make it from here," she said, nodding. She positioned herself on the branch so that she was just over him. The distance between the branches was still a bit long for her tiny body, but she knew she could make it. Many of her tricks involved jumping or flipping in the air and landing on the other's back. She had no doubts that she could do it in this setting. She lowered herself down with expert precision, landing lightly and placing all fours evenly on his back. He was smaller than her current assistant, but that didn't discourage her. She smiled and looked at his outstretched wings more closely now. "How do you drive this thing?" she asked with a laugh, hoping he would get the joke.
She prepared herself for the glide down, but she was more excited than afraid. The distance to the ground looked so much shorter now, knowing that she would be down in a matter of seconds. She wondered if he was afraid, but he seemed pretty brave for climbing the tree in the first place.

Hari took a slight step forward when she landed and was putting all his focus on standing for the moment. Then he chuckled and flicked his tail happily. "It's has auto pilot!" He chirped and looked down. He actually hadn't glided from this far up yet, nor with added weight. But he was overly confident in his abilities. "OKay, you ready?" He asked as he glanced around for the best place to land.

"Up up and awaaay!" she trilled adventurously, letting him know that she was indeed ready. Her ears pointed straight forward in focus and she made sure her footing was correct before he took off. This would be her greatest balancing act yet! Too bad there was no one here to see it. At least Hari was here. Perhaps if this was super fun she could convince him to do it again...although that would mean more climbing. She wondered if there were any large cliffs around here and if Hari might be game for jumping off of them...probably taking it a little too far there. She smiled at the thought all the same and waited for the fun to begin.
She couldn't wait to tell mom about this later!

He took in a deep breath spread his wings, and finding the wind and made a small hop into mid air. Hari dipped down some and then found the angle his wings needed to be at to pull into a glide. He was lad Ziggy couldn't see his unsure face, the ground was coming faster than he thought. "Woah!" He began to flap his wings and move his legs into a gallop. He felt his hooves begin to dig into the ground and stumbled some. It took a few awkward moments for him to catch his footing. "Woah... woah... okay..."

"Wheeee!" she yelled into the air, completely oblivious to the fact that the ground was quickly approaching until she heard his nervous 'woah!' and then she became more serious. The ride was a little bumpy as he skidded on the earth, but she adjusted in a silly dance on his back. Even she was a little shaken, and she landed on her butt once. She hoped he hadn't noticed, she had a reputation to keep up after all.
"Are you ok, Hari?" she asked as he came to more even footing. She hoped he wasn't hurt. She assumed that any bystanders who had seen them were probably laughing their tails off, and she found herself looking around to check if anyone had been watching. She was relieved to see that there was no one laughing at them.

Hari felt his ears flick back and then move askew before flicking forward as he ebcame more sure of himself. "Y-yeah." He said, his voice betray that he might have been a tad more nervous than before. then slowly laid on the ground and caught his breath. His attitude changed in a few moments. "haha! I can't believe we did that! You okay, ziggy?" Hari chirped looking bac at her.
