xxx Millions of years ago, there was but one race of people. The THEOS lived alone in the world. Great celestial beings, and there were a great many. These beings existed as one, building the world, constructing it one bit at a time. The created the physical, and more abstract parts of the world we live in today. The good, and the bad. The Light and the dark. The Theos understood balance, and knew the importance of Harmony. However, one of the Theos did not.
xxx ATAKTOS, an important creator, sought mayhem wherever he went, and despite mayhem necessary in the balance... it is easily over done. He created minion after minion, imps flooded the world, wreaking havoc among the Theos. The Theos fled. Though immortal in theory, Ataktos knew their weaknesses.
xxxThese attacks lasted years, the Theos believed the end was neigh... but one came forth with a plan. Ataktos was no stronger than themselves. He was but one, one of equal strength. He was an easy target, his only weapon being the element of surprise. The Theos sought to surprise him back.
xxx The god of the wind AERAS flew to the skies, and his people were born, his warriors. The CAELIS. Winged warriors of the skies. Wings like an eagle, the strength of a Hurricane. He fought alongside his people, teaching them the arts of battle. Here was formed the oldest of people, and they fought a hundred years alone. Fighting off Imps from aerial attacks, but with their increasing numbers, the imps were hard to fend off.
xxx The next to stand and fight was the god of the seas, NERO. Using his great and powerful waves, the OKEANOS were born. Children of the oceans, and protectors of the waves. With their great and mighty tides they flooded the camps and caverns in which the Imps hid. The joined the fight, taking down the threats from the seas, assisting their winged cousins.
xxx Thought the fight fared well, Ataktos had more tricks up his sleeves. Improving upon his minions, building warriors. Strong, powerful soldiers. Orcs, Goblins, Trolls. More and more hoards rose from the depths. armies of minions. Tricksters, mobs, evil creatures and monsters. The hoards grew, and grew. Developing technologies. Harpoons, nets, traps.
xxx One wise and witty Theos. The god of the earth, CHOMA, saw the problems. Raising his people of the land, MANKIND, he launched a surprise attack upon the hoards. Taking out their weak points, driving them underground. Taking this chance, the Okeanos and the Caelis joined the fight once more, and the three drove the hoards down into the ground.
xxx Aeras, Nero and Choma sacrificed their physical forms to seal the door. Locking both the hoards and Ataktos below ground, forever, and all eternity. The Okeanos, Cealis, and Humans were left, to protect the land. Entrusted by their creators to respect harmony and balance.
xxx A great temple was raised in honor of the Theos who gave their bodies for Peace. Three great statues guard the sealed door to Oblivion. For millions of years the people of the world worshiped the temple, telling story from father to son, mother to daughter.
xxx Story became legend, and legend became myth. The ancient alliances laid out by the ancestors were forgotten, and the people lost their trust in one another. Humans learned technologies, but the other stayed in their old ways.
xxx Human Villages began to join together in to towns. Town to cities. An Empire began, slowly covering the land, and reaching far and wide. They built Ships to explore the seas, and airships to explore the lands. Weapons to protect their lands, and weapons to claim new lands.
xxx Distrust grew in the cities of the Air and Water people. Building their armies, training their warriors. Though war is not struck, many can feel it hiding in the corners of the earth, waiting.
xxx Some believe conflict will break the bond sealing away the Chaos... others simply believe the legends to be an old wives tales.

xxx I'm gonna make the rules simple... Since I think all of you must have read rules like a thousand times.
xxx First of all, you know Gaia's rules... No Trolling, No Bullying, No explicit sex scenes. I want fighting, war, arguments. Romance, Scandal. DRAMA! Seriously, Drama keeps a roleplay alive.
xxx Linking into that previous statement. If you have any plot twists that you want to do, which might need the co-operation of multiple characters, or something you would like to do... Seriously PM me. Think of dungeons and dragons, I'm the Dungeon Master. I will occasionally give you a OOC description of places. Things like positions of NPC bandits. Just so we're all on the same wavelength.
xxx This might sound weird. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put a bit in your post saying where you are. Sometimes it's not clear. Just a little bit at the end, like and OOC. Just saying "I am : In the city of Landereien". Just because, sometimes if it's not clear... people can get mixed up, waste time writing posts that don't make sense... it's just helpful.
xxx I'm lenient... I'm not gonna say NO to anything. Unless it's just totally stupid. If you want ultimate power... you gotta earn it. And I'm gonna make it hard. But you can have it... if you work hard enough. I will reward loyalty.

xxx You guys may notice... I write a lot you dont have to be this literate if you don't want to. Do as you please... just don't be stupidly short.
xxx Some people have issues with writing in the 1st person... I am not such a person, so if it pleases you... do as you like.
xxx Pretty posts aren't easy on guilds... as Gaia hasn't updated them... HOWEVER! It's not impossible. So a picture, name, and whereabouts... maybe a quote... IDK... Just make it look nice. Sie 12 font is fine... but dont make it bigger than it already it... (Except titles... of course...)

The Story so Far
xxx The Caelis Ambassador for the Kingdom of Earth has passed away, and a huge banquet has been held in his honour. Many have gathered, Caelis, Okeanos and Men alike. All to pay their respects to a man of Peace.

Places of interest
xxxCaelestem Patriam is the home of the Caelis. It is a giant floating city, to the west of the empire. Though some of its grounds fly just about human lands. The buildings are white in colour, and it is lined with marble statues of great Caelis warriors, leaders and scholars. The city itself was built with the help of Humans. Stone not being available in the skies. At the center is the Hall of the Council, where the council meet. The Cenaculum. To the east of the Cenaculum is the great Sky Temple, or Ademaeri, here all manner of ceremonies take place, as well as everyday worship. You can only traverse around the city by flying. there are roads, but districts of the city are separated by a large drop to the Earth below. Anyone not a Caelis may need assistance to travel around the city.
xxxNeroikia is the home of the Okeanos, a large city situated in the center of a reef. The city is built mainly of coral, and is surrounded by a large bubble. This makes it possible for strangers to breath inside the city, as well as the Natives themselves. It was cast by an old king, so his allies could visit him without worries. Although, with the threats of the humans, the city itself is now heavily defended by many aquatic creatures and their Okeanos masters as well. People who approach may expect to be captured and questioned about their intentions. Due to human behavior, some of their waters have become polluted, but the main bulk of the city is untouched.
xxxThe empire stretches for miles, covering every inch of land. It is covered with farms, quarries and mines, and has one or two cities, and many towns and villages. The largest city is Landereien, the capital of all the Human world. It has a large wall around it, and it built like a fort. The walls stand strong and are heavily guarded. Inside however the markets and homes are warm and cozy. The Palace is grand, and decorated with marble and gold. It's great hall a common place for Balls, Banquets and various other social get togethers.
