There is a quiet beauty to this girl. Behind her pale pink eyes hides the sorrow of her loss, of her shattered family, and a wall surrounds her bleeding heart. Yet, there is always a soft smile on her maw. The heart rending pain aged this filly's soul and stole the joyful energy of youth away. Maybe it'll come back... one day...To win this filly, post the form below and reply to one of the following prompts. You may use more than one prompt on your reply. Prompt A Of the young ones, it seems the war struck you the deepest. Even your adoptive father, a kind stallion, has a hard time reading your heart. How were you before misery came? What vicious cataclysm did the war you witness to change you and how did you change? Do you speak of it to others? Will you ever? Prompt B You were the first to be found by the snow maned stallion, the first one under his wing. How did you two meet? Was it easy to adapt to a roaming life? And what's your view on your new siblings, an energetic foal with little care for his own safety and a filly convinced she's the center of the world? Prompt C For now, you are but a young, helpless filly... but one day you'll grow up, and odds are the war will still be raging. What will you do? Take revenge? Find a sanctuary away from it all? Or something else entirely? I am the precious lotus... Username: Azrein's name: Temper: Alignment: Prompt:

Found clinging to his life by a thread, this foal has since recovery shown to be a brave child, headstrong and stubborn. His eyes may be white, but he is anything but blind. Violence and terror are sweeping through the lands, threatening to tear others apart just as he was severed from his family. He won't let it happen to others ever again. To win this draft foal, post the form below and reply to one of the following prompts. You may use more than one prompt on your reply. Prompt A You are brave, courageous, fearless even. Foolhardy certainly, driven by an intense desire to right the wrongs of war. Even when you were found you bore marks, deep wounds of struggling against those dark driven forces a mere foal could never hope to stand against and live to tell the tale. Yet... you survived the clash. What happened? How did you stand up to those who took your parents' away and live to tell the tale? Prompt B You were the second to be found by the snow maned stallion, clinging to life by the skin of your teeth. It was only by his healing touch that you survived, and since then you have trained vigorously, trying your hardest to protect your makeshift family... even when they don't want it. Do you look up to your new father? How is your relation with your new sisters, one meek and collected, shying away from everything physical, and another vain and loud, vying to be adored? Prompt C For now, you are but a young, helpless foal... but one day you'll grow up, and odds are the war will still be raging. What will you do? Take revenge? Find a sanctuary away from it all? Or something else entirely? I am the knightly sky... Username: Azrein's name: Temper: Alignment: Prompt:

There are self centered beings... and then there's this filly. Nothing can damage her ego, no one can even remotely bring her down... Yet, when night comes, her crimson eyes drown in tears without fail, and a white wing stretches out to comfort her and lull her to sleep. No matter how perfect and royal she may be, the sadness still remains. The only thing that soothes the pain is a loving nudge... and gifts. To win this draft filly, you must find the most blinged out thing you believe would please this outrageous filly! Winter blessed the pure white alicorn from birth. Instead of flowing locks, a never ending cascade of snowflakes. With age came a loving mate, lively children, a snow clad paradise in the mountain peaks. It took only one moment for disaster to strike and for murderous hooves to paint the snowflakes red with his family's blood. His blue eyes turned to the skies and wondered why did death not come for him as well. When they found the gold and green disturbed little filly, he got his answer. To win this stallion, post the form below and reply to one of the following prompts. You may use more than one prompt on your reply. Prompt A It seemed like your life would be perfect forever... until the Six came. How was it, that life that now seems so long ago? What happened when the evil intentioned azrein arrived? You lived in a pretty remote region, did the Six have any ulterior reason to go after you and your family or was it random? Prompt B Three young azrein are now in your tow, under your protective wing. You try your best to keep them safe, to guide them up north where the evil has a harder time reaching... yet it isn't all smooth sailing. Please elaborate on one such close encounter with the Six and how it went. Prompt C In these three youngsters you found a chance at life again, at happiness. You wish to raise them to the best of your ability like they are your own flesh and blood, with the knowledge that one day they will most likely leave. What are your feelings on this? And what about those for your family that passed away? What are your plans for your life, if you have any? I am the knightly sky... Username: manga_artist303 Azrein's name: Gau Garaile Temper: Brave Alignment: Good Prompt: A & B His parents were gone. His siblings were fading fast. He was the only one still standing. He was alone. But they weren't going to kill him too. He charged at them, but was promptly swatted away. Gau gritted his teeth as one of them, laughing, pressed a hoof to his sore ribs. He let out a yell, but also snapped at the offensive hoof. His head was slammed into the ground. The stallion was mocking him now, but his head was swimming; he couldn't make out half of the words. Was this the end?
"WHERE IS MY MATE?"
Unlike the taunts of his tormentors, the question rang clearly in his ears. The pressure eased on his ribs, and he forced his eyes open. There was a figure walking past the carnage of his family, slowly but surely growing closer to Gau and his enemies. There was something strange about this approaching Azrien, however. There seemed to be a red haze around the stallion... was it because he hit his head? He flinched when something reflected light into his eyes. When he risked opening them again as the light faded, he tried to look more closely. There was metal... a sword? No, three swords. Why did this Azrien have swords in his body? How was he still moving?
"WHERE ARE MY CHILDREN?"
The murderers were backing away from him, fear in their eyes. One turned tail and ran. Another was talking to the stallion--trying to threaten it. Another tried to charge the strange Azrien. A bestial roar reverberated in his ears, and the attacker landed only a few feet from Gau. The others promptly fled. The Azrien with swords in his body didn't so much as look at Gau: he simply continued forward, now calling out the names of his lost family now that the ones he was asking questions to were gone. Gau wanted to call out for help, but his battered body begged for sleep, and he was powerless to resist.
Once he was rescued by the snow-maned stallion and nursed back to health, he trained whenever he could. The strength that his mysterious savior had possessed fascinated him. He wanted to have that strength, to be able to repel those who would hurt his new family. His one sister was quiet and sometimes seemed afraid of him, but wasn't that even more of a reason to protect her? And his other sister... her vain words irritated him to no end, but she was still his sister. He'd heard her muted sobs at night and the soothing words of their adopted father to calm her. At those times, his mind returned to the insistent calls of the sword-stricken stallion, pining for family lost. Gau wouldn't let himself end up like that Azrien. He would become strong, but he wouldn't lose his new family. He'd protect them, no matter what.
(( Ice breaker post, yeah! ))

I am the precious lotus... Username: T3h Jinji Azrein's name: Pankaja Temper: Wise Alignment: Neutral Prompt: A & B She barely remembered the world before her heart was ripped apart. She could remember snatches of time - of her mother, gently nosing her to her feet, of her father's voice putting names to the things around her, of her big brother's gentle teasing and playing. The feeling of happiness overlaid every memory, the feeling that meant she was loved, and had never doubted that love. But when she was still so little she had not even left her blanket, everything had changed.
Of that day, she remembered very little. Her father had charged out of their little cave, followed closely by her brother. Her mother had stilled Pankaja's terrified keening, hidden her in the back corner, and gone after them. For a very long time, she had shivered in place, wanting Mama back, but too frightened to move. She remembered the echo of hateful laughter, seeming to boom everywhere around the cave. Light had come and gone and come again before she got brave enough to creep out of her blanket and search for food, and her family. She would never forget when she found them, limbs tossed carelessly all around, blood covering everything, her mother's eyes still open and empty, staring at her. She screamed and screamed, trying to nudge Mama up, sure if she could just wake Mama everything would be okay.
By the time the snowy stallion found her, her throat was raw and her voice was gone, and she was laying by her mother's side, still feebly bumping the body with her forehead. All that was coming out of her mouth was a faint whisper. He stepped close to her and bent his head down to hers, and she gasped as she stared into his pure blue eyes, utterly convinced with a child's certainty that this was an angel, come to take her away from all the pain. As time passed, she slowly came to realize that the kind stallion wasn't an angel, but his coming had saved her from her darkest hour. When she woke screaming from nightmares of blood and cruel laughter, he was there to sooth her. When the sight of an empty clearing startled her into a frozen stupor, he was there to nudge her forward again. He always knew just how to chase away the demons of her past, and for that she loved him unconditionally. He made her brave again.
She was happy when her new brother and sister joined them. It was like being in a family again. The colt, so determined to be strong, reminded her of her brother from before, so much so that it sometimes made her cry to look at him. The filly was so vain and silly that she could always make Pankaja giggle. And the stallion she had come to accept as her father told her privately that he would never tell them how he'd found her until she wanted the story told. She smiled and told him he could do it right then. "I'm not afraid anymore," she said, her smile soft and sad. When Papa told them, she watched carefully, wondering how they would react. Her sister's eyes misted over, and she ran crying to hug Pankaja, telling her that they needed to find shiny things right now, because if they could just find enough shiny things everything would be better. And her brother got so angry for her, kicking things and saying loudly that when he found the ones that hurt his sister, they'd pay. Pankaja cried, too. It was better than she'd dared to hope.
With them, she'd found her family again.

I am the precious lotus... Username: RAWR_Bexados Azrein's name: Kappa Nu Temper: Distant Alignment: Neutral Prompt: A, B, And C
Her life hadn't been wondrously glorious to begin with, nor had she expected the hell she was born into to end so suddenly and throw her into a new experience that could easily be worse or better, depending on your view, than her first experience.
She barely remembered her father, a mere shadow of what her new father was, his cold and distant behavior so vastly different than her new father. She didn't remember her mother... but she did remember her grandmother. That was it. Her father and grandmother... both cold as the winter snow, and distant.... and each held a distaste for her, that she couldn't comprehend... not from her blanket muffled world atleast.
Still... even with her grandmother's threats of leaving her to rot, and her father's uncaring attitude... it still hurt when the security of her life was ripped away and she was exposed to the cold outer world that was now her reality.
The first scene that greeted her pink eyes, was that of blood and hurt and loss. A giant flaming stallion stood over her bleeding and burnt father's corpse and stared down her grandmother.
Fright filled her chest as a winged demon with four eyes stood over her, her blanket draping from his mouth as he ripped it to shreds. 'Welcome to the world, sweetheart." He grinned devilishly as both of their attention was taken by her grandmother screaming out in pain before her body collapsed on the ground, engulfed in flame.
Kappa sniffled and cried out as the flaming one came nearer, intent on hurting her as well, but the demon stopped the flaming one, his wing brushing against the flaming chest. "Leave her Ruin.. Let chaos rule her life."
The flaming one grinned and nipped at the demon's mane. "As you wish.." His words crackled like the fire that engulfed her grandmother's body as they turned and walked away without so much as another thought towards Kappa and her now dead family.
Days passed before the snowy angel rescued her. Kappa barely spoke a word to him, but to tell him her name and agree to go with him. Soon after two other foals were rescued, both bigger than her. The snowy angel called himself her father, but he wasn't. She remembered her father. He also called the other two her brother and sister, but they weren't. They were very different. But she wouldn't say that aloud.
She grew, knowing she was going to get older and soon leave this group that was now her 'family'. She could put up with this roaming for now. She could call these others her father, brother, and sister. But when she was older, she would find this Ruin and his Demon, and she would take revenge upon them as best as she could, even if it brought death, and she would make sure that no others shared her fate. Nevermore, became her mantra.

I am the bleeding winter... Username: Dea and #Teddy# Azrein's name: Ermir Temper: Patient Alignment: Good Prompt: Prompt B and A
Ermir's blue eyes went from one to the other of his three foals, making sure each one was sleeping peacefully. His little white filly was snuggled under one of his wings, her face streaked with fresh tears she had shed before he had sung her to sleep. Nestled under his other wing was the green filly who was shivering, so he covered her more securely with his wing and nuzzled her. He figured she was having another one of her nightmares and it broke his heart every time she did, since all he could do was comfort her, he could not take away her pain completely. Laying nearby was his only son, whose ears seemed to be standing straight on his head, probably listening to danger. These three may not be his biologically, but that did not matter to the snow white stallion, in every other way they were his children.
The stallion's eyes started to close as he began to drift off to sleep, hoping for a good night's sleep this time. Unfortunately, tonight, his dreams were plagued with how his life used to be and how it was all taken away. The night the Six had come into his home and taken his beautiful mate and his vibrant children. Oh how he remembered it well, almost like those events happened yesterday.
Ermir was nestled happily next to a ice blue female and four little ones were chasing each other in the sight of their parents. Everything was perfect for the alicorn, he didn't see how anything could go wrong.
"Mir dear, do you think we could go for a walk in the snow covered meadow soon? I am sure the kids could use the exercise and I want to get some of those fresh berries,"the mare suggested.
"Yes, I think that is a wonderful idea, Ici. I am sure we could all enjoy a change of scenery for a bit and might allow the kids to sleep easier in a little bit too,"Ermir answered, seeing no harm in a short walk. It had all been relatively peaceful, so he did not think anything could possibly happen. He got to his feet, then gently helped his mate up as well. Then he whinnied to his four children, who quickly trotted after them as they exited the cave they called home.
After about ten minutes of walking, the family of six had finally arrived at the meadow, covered in a beautiful snowy blanket. The kids raced off and Ici walked over to the bush of berries that had some of their favorite berries in the whole area. He was about to join her over there, when he suddenly heard the crunching of snow coming from behind him. He turned around to find a menacing looking Azrein standing there with a scar across his right eye.
"So we finally found you, did we? Oh this is our lucky day, you have a family too,"the other sneered.
"Shall we do away with them, bosssss?"another voice hissed with excitement.
"What is the meaning of this? Why would you be looking for me?"Ermir asked.
"Oh, let me introduce myself...my name is Alvah and the overeager snake Azrein there is Vritra. We know all about you and your snowflake mane. You see, your parents have been thorns in our side for too long, now we are making the whole family pay. You do not want to know what we did to your parents or one of your brothers. Though I will tell you that we killed the mate of your baby sister because he stuck his nose where it did not belong,"Alvah taunted.
"No, you creeps, how dare you hurt my family! I want you to leave this instant, you are not welcome here,"Ermir stated firmly. These must be members of the Six, he reasoned, the only reason they would mention his family, who have always been allies of the king and against the murderous Six. The snow white stallion started to head over to where his mate was, knowing he had to protect her and the children.
''Oh, we have just begun our torment of your family, Snowy one,"Alvah grinned, nodding his head. Just as Ermir got to his mate, the snake had blinded Ici by spitting venom in her eyes. Ermir heard his beloved's cry of pain and he shook in anger. Then he watched a unicorn come out of no where and plunge his dark glowing horn into her chest. He watched another pale green unicorn out of the corner of his eye send a powerful blast at the four children, knocking them over.
"Nooooo!"Ermir fumed, heading in the direction of the one named Alvah.
"Our work here is done,"Alvah called to his people, before he seemed to disappear into the shadows of the night. Ermir turned around and saw the same was true of the others, leaving nothing but his family. He saw his foals completely motionless and his wife covered in blood. He raced over to her with tears in his eyes, but could see he was too late. His beautiful white snowflakes were now blood red and his heart ached in his chest. A mournful cry came from his lips, having no idea why he had been spared. How could someone take his mate and children like this and leave him with this painful life?
Ermir awoke with a start, a gentle whinny escaping from him. When he looked down at his adopted foals, he could see three sets of concerned eyes on him.
"Do not worry, my little ones, I just had a terrible nightmare. Why don't I sing you another song and you all try to go back to sleep, o..."Ermir began, then he heard rustling near by. He quietly got to his feet, motioning with his horn for the children to follow him. The three foals got to their feet and quickly followed, trying not to make a noise. The quartet silently crept away from the noise and headed into a ravine. Once there, Ermir covered the foals with some leaves, then peeked over the side.
"I don't see them, sir. There is nothing here,"a voice spoke.
"Well, we will get them in time, they can't run forever,"another voice replied. Ermir perked his ears up, waiting for any sign that they were gone, before quietly getting out of the ravine.
"Sleep there for the rest of the night, I shall watch over you,"Ermir whispered to the hidden foals. He had already lost loved ones, he did not plan to lose anymore of them. He would get them all safely to his family in the North, where he would make sure everyone was safe, both old and new family.

I am the precious lotus... Username: Nilah44 Azrein's name: Chairillo Temper: Distant Alignment: Neutral Prompt: A and a little of B
Chairillo was the youngest of 3 foals. Her parents loved each and every one of them. There was no favorite among their family. Chai spent her days running through the plains with her brothers, wrestling and laughing happily weather she won or lost. Never was there a boring day with her family. Even though they were quite some ways from the nearest herd or family. They were fine on their own though, until that night. Awoken suddenly by her father she was told to hide and not move or say a word until he said so. She saw him say the exact same thing to her 2 brothers. The three foals scrambled to find hiding spots. They used to play hide and seek all the time. From her hiding spot she heard hoof steps approaching their home. "Where have you been, Almetza? She heard a raspy voice say to her father. "You missed that very important appointment we made for you a year ago, we've been looking for you ever since." Okay this guy was scary, Chai decided. She was suddenly very worried for her family. A year ago was when her father met her mother and she and her siblings were born. "I had something more important to do. Now please, leave." But the mysterious mean guy wouldn't leave. "Almetza..what are they talking about?" Railin asked her husband. A very evil laugh was heard next followed by her mother's screams. "Momma!!!" Her eldest brother yelled as he jet out from his hiding spot with her other brother. "Aiyden, Ave, no!" Chai heard more screams after that but she squinted her eyes shut. Her father told her not to move and Chai knew that she can't move. "So this is where you went, some pretty mare lured you away did she? Well you wont have to worry about that anymore." She heard another laugh then. Chai did all she could to keep from whimpering in fear. She heard sounds of a fight, but no more cries. It was soon silent, but the little foal followed her father's instructions and stayed put and silent. She stayed there for the rest of the night. It was early in the morning before she dared peak out. The dead bodies of her family were laid out across her home. She stood there for what seemed forever, just looking at what used to be her family, but her father wasn't there? Where could her father have gone? Just then, she heard more hoof beats, maybe it was her father coming back for her! But no..it was some strange white stallion with wings and a weird mane. "Did you hurt my family?" She asked in a whimper. "No I didn't sweet one. The six came through here and wrecked devastation on much in this land. Come, I'll take care of you." And he did. They moved a lot and Chai didn't really get to settle down anywhere. But at least she had siblings again. One was vain and frankly not very nice. The other one wasn't afraid of anything. The male reminded her of her dead brothers. Chai did what she could to stay away from the other female though, she just wasn't nice at all. Her adopted father was nice but she couldn't find it in herself to tell anyone what she though about her father or the deaths of her family. Why bring down anyone else. She hardly spoke to anyone, she tried to stay quiet like her father had told her. It was difficult for her to open up to anyone. At least she had a family now and someday, she would find her father and demand to know why he left her. But for now, she would enjoy what she had.

I am the precious lotus... Username: xKOVAKtheWOLFx Azrein's name: Kamala Hindi for "lotus" Temper: Distant Alignment: Neutral Prompt: A and B
She was called the loveliest princess of her herd. Princess Kamala. Everyone wanted to become her friend. Everyone saw her as a fine future ruler. She would be lead mare of the herd and eventually, be lifemated to the stallion that she believed would hold the herd together as one. Kamala was not only beautiful, but she was also wise, caring, always ready to learn more about her fellow herdmates, striving to become the best that she could. There was never a time where Kamala was found alone, she was always watched by some of the most loyal of the herd's warriors. To protect her and to make sure that she stayed out of harm's way.
One day, she was called by her father, Najuka, to go on a mission like no other. She was to head off the the kingdom and spread the word that the Six were coming. Word spread, and it was her responsibility to spread it around. She was the quickest of her age, and who would suspect a foal to know much anyways? As she left the herd for a quick moment, an odd feeling came into her stomach. "I'm.. so sorry father. I have to come back." she thought, knowing that it was much more important to reach the kingdom than to head back home just because she felt strange.
Hurrying home, she stopped in her tracks. Blood... everywhere.. Her eyes shot at the piercing eyes of a handsome decored stallion, dead. King Najuka was dead. Wanting to scream, Kamala just could not. A disgusting mare came up to her, obvious it was one of the Six. About to get struck, Kamala ran, screaming for help. While running, she felt like she should actually be helping her herdmates fight off the enemy. She felt like she just had to. "Kamala! Go to the kingdom!" her mother Phula screeched from her lungs. The look was desperate. The rest of her azrein shouted for her to get help, fast, and she knew that her herd's life depended on her. So she went, running as fast as she can, heart pounding like if it were to explode out of her stomach. "Run, run, run!" she screamt, continuing. The castle was not much further away, and she knew that there was not much more in her.
All of a sudden, she bumped into something. Looking up, she saw the face of a white stallion. With pink snowflakes? She could not say much, but her eyes said it all. "Help me sir." She stirred silently, knowing that she was too late. Her family was all now dead, and she was the only survivor left. She knew that this stallion came as her father's call, he was the one she was to find. The kingdom.

I am the knightly sky... Username: Duke Edward Drake Azrein's name: Canine Temper: Dominant Alignment: Neutral Prompt: A
Canine had been raised by two war drafts from birth. They instilled in him the core values of warriors, always fight clean, always give your all, always be loyal, always show your fire. There were few exceptions to these rules, the most important being if more then one life depends on you do what you can to save them. He adored his parents, they were kind and gentle capable of smushing the test dumbies and of walking through a crowded garden with dinner plate sized hooves and somehow not crushing a thing. He admired their grace, heart and stamina.
Perhaps that is why they were targeted by the six. Cut off the warrior snakes head and the body of the army would weaken ten fold. And that is what they did. He wasn't sure if they were assasins or trained warriors, it was dark when they struck. The light had just faded from the sky, and inky blackness was pooring across the sky.
His father's heavy grunt followed by his mothers war cry startled him awake. His father was already gravely injured they had gotten to him first. His mother was surrounded a warrior on either side of her and one in front. Her long mane covered one eye as she stared at the murderers of her mate, fire in her eyes. He would watch her go down pummling them. She took one with her, they would have been better off taking both his parents before they were aware. He understood his father was dead but he couldn't help but nuzzle him once to see if he would wake, on the off chance he would rise again.
Once they were sure his mother was down the sixers turned to him standing beside his father.
"Brave of him not to say a thing the whole time."
"Pity we couldn't recruit him, we might have had a chance if he hadn't seen this"
"A great pity."
"Well get it over with."
"As you say."
The lower azrein came near. Canine bared his teeth in warning. The other stallion lifted a hoof to come crashing down on him but did so too slowly. Canine latched on to the hoof and held on. Determination was on par with loyalty in his family, he had a big heart and this guy's foot was coming with him to the afterlife.
"Arggggggh get him off! Get him off, hes got the teeth of a dire wolf I say!"
"Surely you exagerate but I will do my best."
And that is when the slashing blows came rending his sides and bringing salted tears to his eyes, which he tried to keep shut to protect his sight. Not that he would need it after tonight.
The two sixers were injured from their struggles with his mother and they were tired, it was not easy taking on drafts when you were six hundred pounds or so lighter then they were. Soon his acosters got tired, and after a glancing blow they managed to get him off. By the grace of light he stayed standing, bruised and broken, hurt like never before he growled at them.
The one who's foot he had mutilated couldn't put much weight on it, and didn't particularly want to come closer least the devil's dog get a hook on the other foot. The other was tired and bleeding from the scuffle with his warrioress mother.
"Eeergh, leave him, he won't be able to do much anyway as small as he is. Unless you want to stay and finish?"
"No let us go home."
They left limping and covered in mud, blood and sweat but they had finished what they had set out to do. Kill the draft threat on the edge of the King's lands. And so they could not be faulted for leaving a single foal and it wasn't like they had left him untouched. He would probably die soon anyway. That was the report they gave their comander upon arriving home. They got their time off from hunting to heal a bit.
Canine watched them leave until his eyes blurred and their movements seemed to meld with the earth. He fell over soon after, out cold.
To be discovered later by a White stallion of snowflake hair and a female foal later.

I am the knightly sky... Username: xKOVAKtheWOLFx Azrein's name: Pahlawan Warrior in Malay Temper: Brave Alignment: Neutral Prompt: A and B
As he followed the steps of the white stallion before him, Pahlawan was filled with disbelief. There was not much that he was able to do for his kind, but just stand there and watch the massacre. How could his very own uncle turn against his herd and lead the Six and their powers into the land? To make it worse, it was the colt who allowed the strange azrein in the first place - out of trust. Not a word was said, and he did not intend to mention this bloody day to anyone. Not even the young filly that this stallion seemed to rescue to. Why did this stallion appear to the both of them? To him, it felt like this stallion knew something like this would happen. No, he would not let the filly be killed by the stallion either. He knew that once she grew up into a mare, he would leave her side and honorably, find any surviving family members, but now, he would just have to wait.
Pahlawan stood tall, waiting for the stallion to notice his rebellious ways already. He wanted to strike at any suspicious creatures he saw, and never would he forget the face of the one who lead it all - his uncle. Screaming inside, Pahlawan wanted to say everything he needed to, but there would be a much better time than now.
