Hel happened to be browsing the magazine section of the grocery store this fine October day. Her brows were furrowed as she stared at the variety of interior decorating magazines, all of course, potential inspiration and research for her future cottage. Secretly though…she was here for another reason… Red eyes drifted down the aisle of magazines until they stopped on… The Noose. Over 666 wedding gowns, plus rings, plus shoes, plus hair styles, plus honeymoon ideas, plus horrible awful cakes, plus flowers… Hel bit her lip. She blamed Freya. She was on a road to recovery, but then the older valkyrie went and ******** up her s**t by agreeing to get married to Kettil…now she was back to thinking about it. Pining. Uuugh. She quickly looked away from the magazine, her cheeks flushing…though her attention kept going back to it. Okay…she wanted that magazine. Hel looked down one end of the aisle, and then the other, paranoid. She was acting like a young boil trying to sneak a skin mag or something, and reached out to pluck the wedding magazine off of the shelf.

False was also browsing the store, he had no shamehowever and was very obviously looking at a skin mag in the mature section, a roll of Half Moon Grass tucked between his lips he took another drag on it as he pondered the magazine.
Lovely Pumpkin Pinups?
Hornz Swim Suit Edition?
He sighed placing them back. He didn't feel like the risk of shop lifting, let alone trying to fake his age. Far too much effort. Instead he turned to go down the aisle, his eyes catching a ghoul who looked rather embarrassed and shifty in the way she was holding a magazine, The Noose? He looked to his shoulder, his feline familiar shrugging slightly before they moved.
"Heya miss," the small cat chirped walking along the rack of magazines before her as False slipped up behind her leaning over curiously to poke at the magazine. "Now I can't help but wonder, and my feline companion agrees, why would a ghoul as young and lovely as you be looking at such a dread magazine when we could all be out enjoying a nice pool party right now?"
"Well -he- mostly wanted to know miss, I just like saying hi. Hi." Sharpie waved an inky paw to the ghoul in question.

Hel, of course, had a one track mind, and when she thought she was being stealthy…well, she really wasn’t, but she could pretend. Her dark hands were on the magazine and she was so excited to take it back to her room and look through it and—
Then there were voices right behind her, as well as a presence.
Hel jumped, letting out a strangled sound as she immediately threw the magazine up and over the aisle, hearing it land on the other side with a flop. “I have no idea what you are talking about.” She replied heatedly, squinting at the boil. “I was not looking at any dreadful magazines!” The look on her face dared him to say otherwise.
Caught by surprise, and feeling defensive right now, the ghoul was a bit disoriented with what exactly had been said, and who was all around, so she looked from the boil to the cat, and then from the cat back to the boil. Okay…seemed to be a reaper. Amity student? Yep. Saw the pin. Hel let out a breath, and rested her hands on her hips.
“Hello…” She greeted, slowly, before raising a brow. “…Ah…what was this about a pool party?”

False watched Hel very intently, green eyes peeking over the rim of his glasses as squinted at him denying her guilty pleasure. Very slowly False reached to the rack tugging another copy of The Noose from the rack inspecting it slowly before looking at her again.
"Riiiiiiiiight." He slowly put it back and took a drag of the grass in his mouth. He took his own stock of the ghoul, she too had a pin and was clearly a student out and about in town as he was. The magazine choice he couldn't figure out why.
"Sadly it's a suggestion more then a thing, if you know of one I'd be delighted to join you at one as this season is off to a dreadfully slow start." He held out an arm letting Sharpie walk across it to rest on his shoulder once more. "Instead I'm here killing time and wondering in all honesty why you picked that magazine of all others."
"Curiosity killed the cat, or in this case the Boil," Sharpie added as an afterthought.

False stared intently, and Hel stared intently right on back. Hrm. Something about this one…Hel could quickly tell he wasn’t the type to just let things go. This was both going to be a bother…and amusing. Hel always did like a battle, no matter what form it was in. Her feathers were rather ruffled though as he found the stack she had been going through, and flipped through it. Hel crossed her arms now, puffing out her chest, and shifting her posture haughtily.
“Well, how about instead of sitting around waiting on your a** for one, you make your own, if you are that concerned.” Hel was getting really defensive, because she had been caught partaking in a guilty pleasure she often got made fun of for, and Hel never took well to that. “I was not picking that magazine!” She chose to keep denying, huffing, and watched the familiar walk across his arm and onto his shoulder, and was eager to get the subject away from it. “So? You two got a name? What year are you?”

So it was a battle of attitude and teasing. Too far and someone would be offended, just enough and it would keep things rolling along interesting and fun. Instead of responding he took a moment to look through her collection again noting the usual ghouly mags, and the more, marriage related ones.
"Don't have a pool sadly, know where I can find one? I hear the lake on campus is terrible for skinny dipping too many teachers patrol it just to hand out detentions and shaming."
Word was also that they kept a betting pool on who could catch the most students too. Some students even bet on which teacher would win that contest as well. False enjoyed these kind of betting games as well; he might have helped make a bracket.
"Oh I think you where, and I'm not upset per-say, don't get me wrong I'm all for a ghoul in a good looking dress or gown. Just doesn't seem.... I don't know..."
"Her?" The cat added.
"Yes, you, you seem a bit more exciting then someone who would be settling down. Hell you're a student for that matter. As for years? Not important but if you insist I'm False, this cat is Sharpie and we're first years who never really cared to come here so we tend to spend a lot of time not in class and instead enjoying."
He paused giving Hel a once over, "The view."

Hope you weren’t easily offended, False, because Hel didn’t play by any set standards, nor did she care to keep a ball rolling. She snorted. “There are plenty of lakes outside of campus.” She informed, and since she felt pretty good for knowing about some, a bit of a grin came to her lips. “I do skinny dipping there quite often.” That grin fell from her lips though, as he insisted on bringing up the marriage magazine again though.
…Aw man. She didn’t seem like the marriage-able type!? Why Jack, why!? Luckily, Hel kept that angsting to herself.
“I think some could settle down and still be exciting.” She replied haughtily, and gave a curt nod to them both as she learned their names. False and Sharpie, huh? Quite an interesting pair…and one that was checking her out. Okay. Hel was...petty enough to almost be flattered, except he was on the grudge list for the time being for still bothering her about the marriage magazine. “Well here, let me give you a view of the back.” She snorted, a bit amused, and then promptly spun on her heel, and marched away from the aisle. Really, maybe he’d stop taking about the marriage thing if she walked away from it.

Offended? Please. False was the king of offending people, case in point see your self dear, he seemed to be doing a number there as was. "Well pardon me for not venturing to such yonder lakes, perhaps you can show me sometime? I'm sure the views even better there."
He wasn't aware at all about her marriage desires. Mostly he wasn't interested in settling down, he felt everyone should feel the same way.
"You'll have to introduce me to someone like that, I've always wondered what that might be like." He let that one linger, your call what he was interested in now Hel. He watched as she spun about taking very careful notice of her hips and rear as they slowly started to march away.
"Now, now, no need to be so hasty, I like this view as much as the other but I don't think I caught your name either." He tucked a few of the wedding magazines while she wasn't looking into a fold in his robes before moving after her.

“Maybe~” Hel replied idly, rolling a hand around. Maybe she’d show him the lakes. It was debatable. False let that one linger, but Hel was quick to pick up on it. She looked back at the boil over her shoulder, and jerked a thumb at herself. “ Me.” She boasted. “If I got married, I would still be a Jack damn fire cracker until the day I ceased to exist.” If there was one thing Hel was sure of, it was that she wouldn’t change in that regard. She grinned as the boil caught up to her, completely unaware of his stolen goods, and marched right on out of the grocery store. “Ya. That is because I did not give it. Hel. Third year.”

Maybe was a good start, it was halfway to a yes, still to close for a no thought in his mind.
Marching along behind her the boil continued to puff on his cigarette, Sharpie now off his shoulder prancing around Hel's feet like any cat would do. Really he was just hoping for some pets but this ghoul seemed a bit less cat crazed then most of the others.
"Remind me to give you a ring after the bells and rings are exchanged, I'd love to see how much of a riot you can kick up after someone puts a ring on that finer."
Once in stride with her he tipped his head, "A pleasure Hel," he paused taking note of her once more, "You're a weapon Reaper I take it? You have a distinct lack of a talking furball following you around."
"I resent that! I'm a cat made of ink False not a furball!"
"Ignore the cat."

Hel looked down at her feet as the familiar started to prance, and snorted at the boil’s words. Her lips pulled into a crooked smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Well, ya, sure, you can ring me up I suppose…that is only if—“ And she really stressed the ‘if’, which inner!Angsting Hel highly doubted –“Someone puts a ring on this finger. I will still be hell on wheels in bloomers regardless.” The ghoul assured.
Not wanting to trip on the cat while she walked, Hel just reached down and scooped the feline up into her arms, cradeling it tightly against her generous bosom. “Are you really made out of ink?” She asked, staring down at the cat. “Does that mean I can write with you? That is one talented p***y!”
Her head bobbed back up though, as False’s question. “Ya. I am. I come from a long line of pole arm weaponed reapers. I have a spear…” She trailed off, looking down at the cat again. “I suppose I am curious what it would be like to have a companion that was apart of you that talked back, though!”

"I'll keep that in mind, I think you'll find someone dark skin, blood red eyes? What's not to like?" He moved by a single hand reaching over to brush the bloomers playfully as Sharpie bounced around some more before being scooped up.
"Indeed!" He reached up with an ink paw pressing a small black paw print aginst her cheek before happily nuzzling into that well endowed chest. "Everyone loves my p***y," the reaper added rather dully, they always gave the cat more attention. "But yes, you can poke him with a pen for a bit of ink and he writes with his tail rather regularly."
"Very nice, some of my family where spear wielders, though my parents both where Familiar users. All cats, related to Sharpie actually." He reached over poking the cat in the forehead as she carried it about, "They never shut up, it's the worst."

Haa…well…she did have someone in mind who was tan and had really, really, really dark eyes… Eh heh. She felt that hand brush her bloomer-clad bottom, and one hand had snapped out to swat False’s hand. The look on her face was feigning pure innocence though. She turned her attention back to the chat, and her lips parted a bit in awe. “Ah! I see…” Her hand moved to touch the paw print on her cheek, and she pulled her fingers back to see the ink. “I do admit, that is intriguing! I have never seen a familiar do that before.” She snorted at False’s dull comment, grinning a bit before she looked back over at the boil. “Ah, I see! I am told that the start of the Brynhildr family, the reapers had raven familiars, but it morphed into weapons over time…” She shrugged a bit. “Ya…I could not imagine having something chatty, heh.” She trailed off for a moment. “…So…what brings you to Amity?”

False was tall, slightly tanned, but he missed the dark eyes part. Sorry ol boy, one mark missed and you failed the exam. Instead he simply tsked as she slapped his hand, acting like he had done nothing at all. Two could play the innocence game.
"All my fear is ink," added the cat, "Without my ink False can only make so much fire. I'm like a fuel source and he's the lighter. More ink, more fire."
"And more fire, is always the right choice, far more fun," the boil added as he continued to march along with her. "Our family has always been pyromancers, but farther back some of the off shoots took up weapons as a way to balance out the family for dealing with the local threats. Where I come from things are rather... vicious to say the least." He shrugged once more at the cat part, "I de-summon him if he gets too mouthy, that or just kick him into the nearest wall. As for school?"
He reached into his robes pulling out the magazines switching Sharpie out of her arms for the articles. "What can I say? My parents hated how much trouble I got into." He tossed the cat up in the air letting him fall into a trot behind him. "They marked me as a failure and a wild card. Sent me a way to keep me out of their hair and wait for another heir to the family line. Much to there dismay I'm still alive."

Well, that was even more interesting! A reaper who relied on his familiar to increase his power, huh? Hel nodded her head enthusiastically, and then grinned widely at False’s comment. “That I do agree with, friend!” She replied, chuckling. She listened as he spoke, always rather curious about where others came from. “Vicious, huh?” She echoed. “Sounds like my kind of place.”
Hel blinked as Sharpie was taken out of her arms, and instead replaced with—
Oh, unholy mother of Jack.
The ghoul blanched, her eyes going horribly wide as her mouth opened in a hilarious awkward silent shrill of horror. “But these-- But they--- But in the store--- But how--- You…” Dark red eyes finally turned over to the boil, where she stared at him for a long, long while, halting to a stop.
“…Holy ******** hell!” She finally cried out, and then just started to laugh. “You shop lifted these!”
