On the Outskirts of the Village and Castles, there is a Large Forest that surrounds the Lands Around. The Forest is, Oddly enough, the Color Black. The Leaves are a Reddish-Brownish mix, and the forest is just down-right creepy. There are rumors of some sort of Mysterious Lake within the forest's deep Depths that is said to allow you to speak to the Moon Goddess. However, There are also rumors that it's actually a Pool for a Monster to consume you. Many have attempted to find this Lake, and Most Return saying they found nothing. Then again... Some Don't return.

Vulcan stumbled around awkwardly as he picked his way through the forest. With A large nearly empty bottle of wine in his hand, his drunken behavior was no wonder. And he had another even larger one tucked in his bag, ready to drink a soon as he finishe this one. He sang loudly in his native tounge about a vampire that aspired to drink 50 barrels of blood. Vulcan nearly tripped on a rock for his stupidity, temporarily interrupted as he struggled to free his leg from the creeping vines with a tug. He then continued his walk and sing loudly, taking a drag of wine every few steps. Contrary to his behavior, Vulcan was fatigued. There were dark circles under his red eyes and his skin was odly paler than usual. He hadn't taken a sip of blood for the past two weeks, and was starving for a bite.

Soturi had grown bored of wandering the known places of Fenrious, so searching for something different she crossed into the vampire lands. She hasn't seen one yet, in fact she hadn't seen much of anything since she crossed into this strange forest. Strange...and creepy, she shuddered. She had stopped awhile ago to start a fire and eat the venison she had stored in her pack several days ago before crossing over the border. She poked at the fire causing it to spark and spit up some smoke.

After half an hour of singing, Vulcan's voice was beginning to grow hoarse. Taking the last drink of the bottle, he smashed it against a tree then leaned against it, sighing with a small smile on his face. He was incredibly hungry...Starving. Hunger knawed at his being, the alcohol settled it a bit. But not forever. Eventually the effects would wear off, and he'll need to find real food. Vulcan looked at the dark sky tiredly, hoping for a miracle... It was then that he saw the tendrils of smoke, rising into the air. He stood up a bit straighter. Vampires didn't need fire. He grinned and ran towards the direction of the smoke, silently and swiftly. As he got closer, his footsteps became lighter and shorter. Looking around for the meal making that fire.

Soturi sat close to the fire with her sword across her lap, in a dark place like this where dark things lurk one could never be to careful. She sat there and watched the venison sizzle, a piece fell into the fire and she reached her hand in to pick it out, examine it, then popped it in her mouth. Satisfied that it was done she took the meat off of the cooking stick and slid it off and dug in. If there was anyone with her they would have freaked out when she stuck her hand in the fire, and be amazed that her hand was not burnt, and were they to touch the meat their fingers would burn from the touch.

((You're both roleplaying as her?))
Vulcan stalked closer towards the fire, which burned clear in the dark forest. This fool was begging to be hunted! He hid behind a tree, peeking ever so carefully to catch a glimpse. It was a small campfire. The scent of cooked meat perfumed the area. But it was not the meat that caught his attention, it was the woman sitting beside the fire eating the meat that did. He licked his lips. A human, filled with vessels of blood. Blood which he needed to quench his thirst. He watched her silently, observing. Though he had difficulty since the alcohol made his thoughts foggy.
Vulcan moved even closer, creeping up behind her. It was then that he leaped out from behind the tree, baring his fangs as he aimed to bite her neck.

((Sorry, switched computers razz ))
Soturi's eyes flashed when she heard the movement and she dropped the meat, she didn't think instead she jumped forward, grabbing her sword as it fell from her lap, she hoped she moved fast enough to get away from the danger behind her. Once on the other side of the fire she rolled, and still kneeling twisted and aimed her sword pointing towards her attacker... If only to get a good look before attacking.

Vulcan stumbled forward, having missed his target. He drew his sword the moment she did, standing on the other side of the fire. "Ah... so close." he said. His red eyes trained on her. He smiled, his fangs revealing themselves. "I'm so hungry... so incredibly hungry..." he said, his voice slurred. He stepped forward clumsily. "Feisty, I like that in a meal. Tend to have a lot of blood. Now hold still my sweet while I eat ya."

So.. It was a vampire, her nose twitched as she began to smell the alcohol, and apparently a drunk one. Her eyes flared when he spoke and she growled her eyes changing slightly as she sliced her blade diagonally to ward him off. "Back off vampire, before I shiskabob you and roast you til your dust!" And to prove that she wasn't faking her warning she focused on the circumference of the area around them, and a spark flew from her hand landing on the ground and grew, racing around them til it formed a ring, trapping the vampire with her inside it. She watched him carefully.

Vulcan laughed giddily, seeing the flames around them. He then looked back toward her with a wide, meniacal grin. "Oh come on, no need to be so harsh..." he said. Vulcan dared to take a few steps towards the angry woman, his eyes hungrily on her. He could almost taste the blood, being so close. After two weeks without food, it blazed his senses. Vulcan's sword swirled with red energy, waiting to be used. He took a few more steps. "One bite is all it takes... just one bite. No one gets hurt."

Her eyes became wolfish and she growled, "One bite and you will drain me dry vampire!" She had no intention to die today or anytime soon, besides she still sought revenge for what had happened to her family, and she didn't care if it was years ago, she still sought it. She was growing angry, and she always transformed when she was angry, but she kept it in check, for now, and held her place besides this was a new kind of enemy and she didn't want to charge in blindly. Her sword arm twitched, and she moved the point of her blade towards his neck.
"Any normal human being would regret coming to the vampire lands, I am no coward, I will look everywhere to find what it is I seek!" Her feet remained planted, but she made a feint towards his left shoulder to see what he would do. If anything she could fry him, what vampire is immune to fire?

Vulcan raised his bloodsword to deflect the attack. With a swift movement, he redirected his sword to her neck. His grin still there. "Haha, brilliant!!! And what is it you seek dear?" he asked, his interest caught. his sword was held loosely, due to his drunk state. He had difficulty even staring at her. "To travel out to these wastelands, hm? This is hardly the place for any lady." he said.

Every word she spoke would come out as a growl, "A lady?" She snorted, and moved her blade so that it faced down and moved her hilt upwards to knock his sword away. "A lady doesn't go around setting things on fire and killing people for money." She moved the opposite direction of his sword, dropped to the ground and swung her leg around to attempt to knock him off his feet before jumping back and standing.
"I search for revenge against the bastards that dared take my family from me, slaughtering every last one til they were dead." That did it, the transformation began as she began to change to her wolf-like form, she remained humanoid, her ears, eyes were all that changed, and then of course there was the tail. "I have looked in every known place, now I search for those places no ordinary person would dare to go. That is why I am here. That is what I search for, and no bloodthirsty vampire will keep me from my revenge!" She gripped her sword and began to circle around him.
