In an apocalyptic world bred on chemical warfare, a company that created biochemical weapons is working on a new project, a gas that has the capability to kill within milliseconds. The company puts out a test run and releases the gas to a small town nearby.
But something goes wrong.
Somehow the virus mutates when it hits the oxygen, and when the people in the area inhale it, it becomes trapped in their lungs permanently. Their bodies begin to rot from the inside out. Their brains change and gain a new intelligence. The test subjects become cannibalistic monsters, the gas affecting their blood and saliva. They begin to infect the other towns, and eventually begin to overrun the bigger cities.
Not everyone in the town has been hit. Those who have survived this long won't survive for much longer. Think fast. You have some time before the first wave of infected arrive. Grab a weapon, a trusting friend, and hole up, because when the infected hit, they'll hit hard.
