Apperance: Ruffled brown hair and matching hazel eyes. Jack is usually covered in dirt and other 'natural' colours. His favorite things are his bandanna (won't go outside with out it) and his wooden sword. He usually wears a loose off-white shirt and baggy dark pants that are tied with a scarf and a leather belt. Jack has a large leather pouch that he hangs from his belt when he is going off 'adventuring' with Aya.
Like: Rum >_> ships, water, pirates, anything gold...
Dislikes: Boundries, small places, being alone
The Room: Jacks room is definatly oceanic by description. His walls are covered with pictures and photos of different ships including a large sketch of The Windrunner, Aya's ship. There is a plushi shark on his plain wooden bed and small boats and ships for him to play with. An assortment of figures in various poses litter the floor as if it was a war ground and in the center of the room is a blue sheet with a pile that looks suspiciously like dirty laundry being used for a rocky island. A small model castle made out of cardboard sits proudly on top not knowing about the inpending attack of the closes pirate ship.

Type: Winged nagah
About: Aya was the one who took Jack away when Amirynth had her 'spell' He has been looking after the toddler and only just braught him back after the last adventure took them a little too close to a rather savage bunch of amazons. Whyle Aya would have had a little fun he decided it would be best to keep lil Jack out of harms way and so took him home to find a more calm household.


Name: Madea
Gender: Male
Type: Gorgon
About: This gorgon appeared at Amirynth's doorstep about the same time Jack did. As it was he became a kind of 'older brother' even if he wasn't too pleased with the rest of the rabble that lived at Crystal Cottage. He was the one who gave Jack his wooden sword just before he left with Aya.


Name: Avnas
Gender: Male
Type: Human
About: Avnas helps Amirynth with the menagarie and took care of the boys when she traveled to the Crystal Cottage. He is a mage by nature and used his cantrips to keep them entertained. A masterful storyteller, he could illustrate the stories he wove with illusions that seemed real. As horror and adventure tales were his favorite he was a great sucess with the two kids.


Name: Fluttershy
Gender: Female
Type: Beta
About: This beta was found by Jack when he first went swimming in the ocean. After begging to keep her the pirate-boy took care of her until he was surprised when she grew into a very pretty hippocampus. He now takes her along when he dives and uses her as a scout to keep him out of trouble.


Name: Napolde
Gender: Male
Type: Feli
About: Napolde was the family feli who took it upon himself to keep the baby Sparrow out of trouble (probably because Jack was kept in the warmest room of the cottage) Napolde ended up traveling with Aya and Jack on the good ship Windrunner.

A wooden sword given to Jack when he was a toddler by Madea.

"Good god! Get that sword away Madea. Please!" Amirynth was again trying to clean up in the room that had been set up for her newer charge. "He's not old enough for it yet." She busied herself as she chided herself more than the snake boy who followed around with large eyes. He seemed to be interested in the new baby that was taking up Ryn's attention. With a scuttle over to the corner of the room, he set the sword down and then looked about for more mischief. Getting board again he picked up the sword and ran out of the room. Amirynth sighed as she lay the sleeping bundle down. First Madea had shown up, half dead after getting into a fight during haloween, and now Little Jack. She smiled down at him as he lay there sleeping, he was definatly a cutie.

Humming a small tune the nagah tieded up the mess that had acumilated from bathing and cleaning the little tyke before closing the door behind her and leaning against it. This was going to be an interesting time for her now. Ryn pondered whether she should ask for her sisters help and decided it was her turn, she'd learn to deal with the childern herself.

Aya looked at the closed door, a grim look on his face. To think that it had lead to this... He shook his head and gathered up the little bundle that the snake boy had given him. Madea was still standing there as he turned, quietly waiting to see what would happen. He was older and could help out the sisters if Amirynth tried to do that again. The serpant felt a shiver run up and down his spine, trying not to think about what could have happened. No... While Madea was safe, Jack would not be. Carefully he picked up the knapsack that help Jack's belongings and made his way to the main door. There he was stopped by the gorgon who held out the wooden sword he had held since he had first come to Crystal Cottage.

"For Jack..." Madea thrust the sword at the bundle narrowly missing him by centimeters. Just as quick as it was taken the boy sank back into the shadows, his large eyes still watching what was going on as his brother, if in spirit, was removed from the household.

Aya came in carrying a green and gold jar, placing it down in the middle of the room. Jack ran up, arms outstreached like he was a bird, his sword at his side and bandanna wrapped around his neck like a very small cape. "Whatcha got there?" He hopped up and down some, trying to figure out why the jar would have been put in the nursery. "It be a gift for me?"

The serpant pirate chuckled as he shook his head. "This be a gift for Amirynth. Ah do have something fo ya though." Aya pulled out a chain from around his neck where a small compas dangled from. "Ah be giving this one for ya, got another one on t' Windrunner."

Jack jumped around again with excitement as he ran over to his journals to add it to his logs. "Thankies Uncle Aya Capt sir!"
