The city was still in shambles, debris left, right, and center. Some buildings could be heard still falling apart....Miache did hope that no highbloods were in those buildings, if someone had to be in those buildings cleaning up where it was dangers.....that really was a lowblood job, right? Well, Miache knew for damn certain that he wouldn't be taking on any dangerous tasks like that, for one....his lusus would never allow such things! He barely was willing to let Miache help the relief workers to clean up the city, but that was simply because there was so much mess.
Though, there were a few buildings that remained with little to no damage, safe enough for little kids like him to clean up. The clean up resulting in having to put everything in a bin and move it out......at least his lusus was very helpful with things, the two were quite the cleaning team! Something they were not unfamiliar with. Miache had tied a broom to his lusus' tail, had them both extra rubber gloves (Just in case), and had a cart rigged up to attach to his lusus. The cart made it much easier to carry around more than one box for cleaning since it could easily be left outside while they packed things up. But, looking at the insides of buildings was rather daunting....he had to thank his lucky stars that he'd also thought to bring a spare change of clothing. If he had to walk home in a dusty suit he would feel just.....UGH! DISGUSTING!
It looked like that building was once a convenience store, many of the bags or cans of food had been dented or split open....but he could salvage some of them. It would be decent to take to a relief station later to donate to some trolls effected by the disaster.

Atiqua was humming in her head as she crawled over a large stone brick that had fallen from empress only knew where. It was large and thank goodness it had already fallen. She really didn't like the idea of going squish thank you. Looking to the city, the teal blood got the sense of both pride and horror. Pride, as she'd scored quite a bit, horror as well... the city had been razed. Shops leveled, things broken beyond repair- at the very least she could make a pretty penny fixing what might come through or selling what could be salvaged. Overall though, things were pretty grim. Hopping down from the rubble, Seadad floated not far behind, bumping into more things than usual. Looking around for anything good to swipe from the wreckage, spying a blue blood of all things cleaning- well that was a little unusual. Sneaking past him into the shop, she hissed at Seadad to keep him outside while she attempted to load up with the least damaged items. Before knocking over a rack. "...whoops."

Klunk!!
The sudden noise made Miache perk up, suddenly curious. Oh? So he was not alone, he'd thought other trolls were off doing other things.....between repairs and plundering. A little kid like him could only handle the safe hives and shops....how boring. He would much rather do things of greater significance! He had much to offer, at least that was what he liked to think. Miache fancied the idea of some day being important to the Empress.....ahhh, a young troll could dream.
He spotted the teal-blood and made his immediate assumptions, wasting no time to judge her. Hm.....dressed well....though still dirty. Ah, she was surely a good little tyke, right? Like him she was helping the cleaning and fixing things, she had herself a damn decent blood colour (Well, clearly not as good as him, but not bad at least), of course she would be assisting her fellow troll! It would be absurd to assume otherwise, and he was no fool. No teal blood would be so foolish as to go against the Empress, it was their duty to work FOR the Empress.....even if it was just cleaning up a mess...
"Nothing to worry about," he said, making more wrong assumptions, "anything you knock over is most likely already broken. If you'd like to help my lusus and I are first clearing out what can be salvaged. Just put them in the box by the door and my lusus will carry them out later." Raptordad seemed to agree with the plan, though somewhat resentfully as he let out a disgruntled growl. Ahhh....his lusus didn't like carry things, but knew that it was just unfortunately one of the required whilst one was cleaning.

Atiqua gave a nervous laugh, trying to casually put the rack back upright, only for it to clatter back down in her fumbling. s**t, she'd been caught, abort the mission. A blue blood- not good, someone help. Mayday- Looking towards the outside she realized the one to help would be seadad. Upon this revelation she decided that no, it was better if she just did this on her own. Seadad would probably just make things worse. Probably. "Ahaha yeah. Just um.. picking up what I can save you know." And sell later on the black market. "The broken things aren't always worth throwing away though. you can fix them... self them..." She mumbled, looking at a few dirty items that were otherwise good as new. "No no, it's alright, I'm sure you guys got it." Sweating bullets, raptor dad didn't seem like the nice friendly kind. "My lusus is um..floating... somewhere. Just picking some things up to go drop off. Making the rounds. After all, need to beat the rush of scavengers." Totally playing it cool.

"Of course," he agreed, happy to hear that the teal-blood was properly taking her assisting role. There was something to be said about those who respected authority, he was always fond of such a type. "I can't say that I'm terribly handy with fixing things that are broken," he conceded, "albeit, if you think you can repair something, please do feel free to. We could set up a second box containing what can be fixed."
When she mentioned her eagerness to bum out of helping he pursed his lips a little what a shame.....he'd been looking forward to the idea of having someone to help out with his clean up. Even though most couldn't rise to his high expectations he did still like the company one could provide. "Oh. I see..." he demurred, eyes drifting away. "That's fine then. I suppose I'll finish here then." Alone, he added mentally. Oh well.....at least he knew how things should look when cleaned, and raptordad was always helpful and maintained a similar taste in his cleaning methods. They would no doubt finish sooner than they would with another little kid mucking around.

The teal smiled weakly, "Haha yeah I'm a handy girl, can fix almost everything. That's why they sent me. Grab some stuff to fix it." Speaking of which... she tried to act normal, casually putting this and that in her bag. Some stuff being new. And without any damage from anything whatsoever. Now it was just a matter of keeping up the act. Or it was until Seadad showed up, a few things very visibly stolen strapped to him. Wide eyed, Atiqua regret everything in that single moment. Next time, she was chaining him up. "Ahaha wow I forgot how much I have to fix um... um... say what's you're name anyway? Ahahaha-"

Miache's eyes narrowed very slightly. Something fishy was going on.....and the low growl from raptordad told him that his lusus agreed. Albeit....it didn't help that raptordad was less gullible than Miache, he wasn't nearly so trusting of other little wrigglers. Though.......she was a teal-blood, usually they had more class.....Miache wasn't quite ready to start suspecting her just yet, lying and being sneaky was something far more common in lowbloods, if she were some dirt-loving little lowblood he would feel differently.
"Oh? Then perhaps you could teach me? I can't say I'm the most adept with home repairs, though a I daresay it may be something I should look into, I am never too keen on getting the lowblood mechanics to fix my things.....they usually wind up covered in dirty fingerprints and I can never trust that the insides are clean, they simply don't do a reliable job," he sighed. That was very true, though....he had to admit he wanted to see what she did with what they salvaged after she'd repaired them, just to make certain that less fortunate trolls were helped as they should be. "I'm Miache, a pleasure I'm sure."

There was indeed, something fishy. Well, more than seadad at any rate. He was his own fish. The growl of the lusus was not comforting, and her own proceeded to blow small bubbles in the air. They were harmless, (they really were). "Um-" Atiqua stared at the blue blood for a while. 'How to abort missions- the story of Atiqua's life of uncertainty'. She wasn't good at this sort of thing. "I dunno, You've got to have the stomach for repair work. It's gross, dried slime, oil, mold, all that gross stuff. Rust, real rust that stains your stuff worse than that lowblood blood. So yeah you have to be picky, but a few lowers can do a decent job. I picked up my fix it mind set with Seadad here. He kept bumping into things and breaking them." The lusus just blew more bubbles in the air. "It's a pleasure Miache. And Uh- company." Raptor that might try to eat her oh god. "But I really should be moving on. Got to grab as much as I can and take it back to get started on my work." Back home hidden in her hive.
