"Efflo!" Andrew yelled at the unsuspecting horse, tail set a blaze and still dripping. his horns stuck out a little bit more predominantly due to the fact his hair was still glued to his head.

"You boil friend is a total jerk!" Andrew had been walking along, minding his own damn business, when out of no where, Gabby launched a water balloon at him... with incredible aim.

And had shut the window at the fireball that had been launched back. He didn't even have the ability to fully yell at the frost dragon. So he took it out on the next best thing.

"He could have killed me!" well that much water probably wouldn't knock him out but still.

Efflo jumped at his name being called, spinning around with his ears flattened to see a very wet and very unhappy Andrew. He groaned quietly, why was this suddenly his problem? He wasn’t Gabby’s keeper. Although, when he thought about, maybe getting the dragon a leash was a good idea. Then he'd get to make the decisions and his first decree as owner would be no troublesome ghouls. Second would be if you do something, take responsibility. Or at the very least send your boilfriend a heads-up text.

He sighed, as he stared at Andrew, feeling bad he didn't have a towel or something to offer the sopping boil.

“You don't need to yell, Andrew, I can hear you. What did Gabriel do?"

"He threw a Jacken WATER BALLOON at me!" steam rose from his head as he tried to heat up enough to get the offending substance off of him, but it had done more damage that just his hair. Some had gotten onto his cloths, including his jacket which he stripped off, exposing nothing but a tank top underneath. It didn't even have the decency to cover between his wings.

"Ugh and my cloths are wet. Jack it hurtsss. Water and flame demonsss don't mix." Andrew's voice started to pitch higher into a whine, perhaps with a bit of demonic accent slipping through.

He grimaced, really Gabby? Thanks a lot. But his expression mellowed at Andrew’s obvious discomfort. Even though Efflo hadn’t done anything, he felt bad. Gabby was lucky Andrew hadn’t been extinguished! He couldn’t fathom what the dragon was thinking. He was definitely going to hear about it later. Unless… He really should give Gabby the benefit of the doubt. Gabby was his boilfriend after all! Just because he was a jerk didn’t mean he was always immediately guilty. Efflo sighed again, who was he kidding? There was like a 0.01% chance Gabby wasn’t guilty. Still, he felt compelled to defend the dragon anyway.

But for now, he turned his attention to the whining fire boil. “I’m sorry you got wet, Andrew. But I’m sure he wasn’t aiming for you. He probably just missed whatever he was aiming at and hit you by accident.”

"From his window? Really?" the chances that Gabby was not aiming at Andrew were about the same chances of a snowstorm in the middle of firelands in the 6th October.

Andrew grabbed the boils arm and used it to wipe some of the water off. Well, he made the attempt, the boil didn't have as much of a coat nor a shirt to help with the drying process.

"It hurts. I don't like it." Andrew's own body was very hot, not enough to ignite the boil but enough to make things very uncomfortable. Thankfully yelling seemed to tame the flame that was held away from the conversation.

Sigh, sigh, sigh. “Well, I don’t know Andrew, I wasn’t there so I can’t say. But Gabriel’s not a jerk, he wouldn’t purposely try to hurt you.”

Yes, it was a lie. He probably would have. But dutiful boilfriend was doing his duty. He blinked when Andrew grabbed his arm, stumbling forward as the boil used him as a makeshift towel. It didn’t work very well and the fire demon was still pretty much soaked. He winced at the heat, pulling himself free with a glare. How could anyone stand to be so hot? Maybe it was good thing he’d been hit with the balloon, Andrew could use a cool down.

“I’m not a towel,” he huffed indignantly, cradling his arm. He wasn’t intimidated by you, fire demon.

“But…” Efflo knew he was going to regret this. Yet someone had to clean up this mess and he was fairly certain he could count Gabby out. “Look, I probably have a towel or something in my room you can dry off with,” he offered, gesturing at the dorms right behind them. “Would… You like me to go get it?” It was about all he could really offer, but at least then Andrew wouldn’t have to walk to his dorms completely soaked.

"Yes!" oh Jack a towel would be wonderful and then he wouldn't have to suffer through the hell of walking back wet.

"And I know he hit me on purpose. The first one fine mistake, but I had to dodged the second one." his tail flicked back and forth behind him, burning slowly lower and lower. Andrew tried to create a few fireballs and use them to dry his hair... but it did little good. The water had sunk in and set in his hair.

"Ugh, I don't feel good." he sat down and slumped by the steps to wait, much to the cringe of any undead who happened to walk by.

He’d thrown two? Gabby, Efflo adored you, but you truly were an idiot. There was no way he could explain two balloons. The undead boil admitted defeat, shrugging his shoulders.

“Again, I’m sorry. I’ll be right back… Try not to burn anyone.”

He unlocked the door to his dorms and hurried to his room as quickly as possible; thankful it was on the main floor. He went straight to his half-eaten dresser, pulling out drawer after drawer in search for something for Andrew. He finally came across his old beach towel, though much like everything else in his room, it was partially eaten. Oh well, it was better than nothing he guessed.

Hastily making his way back outside, Efflo hoped Andrew hadn’t bothered anyone. He had a hard enough time getting along with creeple to begin with; it wouldn’t be good if he were associated with an angry fire demon. He tapped the boil on his shoulder, holding out the ratty looking towel sheepishly.

“I’m sorry, it’s all I had.”

Miraculously it seemed the flame demon had not bothered anyone. Inf act he looked half asleep, tail burning low still as he mumbled something about cooking Gabby up on a plate.

"Thanks." Andrew barely looked as he took the towel an applied it to his head tiredly tying to remove the wet. "You need to learn to control your dragon." Andrew said as if Efflo had an say in what Gabby was currently doing.

His dragon? He kind of liked the sound of that. Efflo’s dragon. My dragon. Yes, it definitely had a nice ring to it. But he didn’t like the way the fire demon muttered something about dinner. His Gabby was not for consumption, thank you very much.

Noticing the boil’s futile efforts at drying himself, Efflo blew out yet another sigh.

“Here,” he said, taking the towel from Andrew and gently tousling it over the demon’s hair and horns. “Gabriel is his own dragon, I don’t control him. But it might be a good idea to… Avoid walking near his window in the future. You know?”

"If I started avoiding every student that disliked me, or otherwise wanted to avoid or harm me I would never go anywhere on campus.” Yes Molan he had seen those looks, he had an eye out for you especially. “Not many creeple like fire.”

“And I get that, I do try to avoid too much fire damage but your boilfriend really could learn some manners. And you are in the best position to teach him a few.” Now that he was a bit dryer, the flame demon was starting to perk back up. He didn’t complain that Efflo was touching him, probably because he was still too tired to fight it, or maybe it was because he secretly liked being catered too.

Speaking of people who didn’t like fire, he glanced at the dorms. Maybe plopping down near the undead dorms wasn’t the best of ideas. Though he wondered which room was Olivia’s, not that he would ever be allowed in.

“Gabriel doesn’t dislike you, Andrew,” he replied, looking surprised. At least, he wasn’t pretty sure he didn’t. He just liked torturing creeple. “But… I’ll talk to him. You’re right, you can’t avoid places, that’s not fair to you.”

He finished drying the fire demon’s head and shoulders best he could, the tossed the towel back to Andrew to finish the rest. He followed his gaze to the dorms, wondering what he was thinking. “Er, remember, Gabriel’s a ghost, not an undead if you want revenge…” In other worse, please don't burn my dorms down, Andrew.

“Revenge?” Andrew’s face grew into a wide grin. “Don’t worry Efflo, I know he’s a ghost, which makes me wonder why he was after me to begin with. He can’t be mad at me for dumping popcorn on him, can he? He threw some first after all.” He mused. “But when I think of revenge, I won’t hit you with fire. I know you undead are a bit sensitive about that.” Efflo was Olivia’s friend right? And the horse wasn’t too bad. He’d try to avoid too much spill over from hitting him.

Andrew took the towel and finished off his hair before handing it back, giving himself a quick flame bath. Much better. He shook himself wings stretching and folding back in to resting, and then gave his jacket a small frown. It wasn’t as dry yet.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 13, 2013 7:20 pm

“I really don’t think he was after you personally, you were probably just in the right place at the right time. Well, the wrong place, wrong time on your side of things.”

He smiled apologetically at the boil, but was glad that Andrew’s flame was looking brighter. Wary of it as he was, he’d never wish harm on the demon. “Ah, well, I hope you won’t be taking revenge on me, fire or not. I mean,” he said, taking the towel back, “I don’t think Gabriel would like that very much.”

He stared at the still dripping jacket, and then decided there was nothing he could do to help that particular garment. “Is there anything else I can do for you, Andrew?”

“Yeah… you can tell me which room Olivia lives in.” he said absently and then flushed, and laughed. “I’m joking I’m joking.” He stood up tail now burning higher matching his cheeks. “Anyway, I’ll steer clear of revenge on you. I don’t believe in making other people too terribly uncomfortable during my revenge schemes, though I might borrow you for a prank. Your towel looks like it was eaten by those shadowlings, I can buy you a new one or something, in exchange for some help with a harmless little prank.” He quickly changes the subject off of Olivia, and shrugged starting to put together an idea.
